Food was excellent I had the Veal Cherry and my Husband had the beef medallions and shrimp.
We also had the flat bread app. all the food was wonderful.
Food and service were both very good. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were informed that the restaurant did not have our reservation. It was explained to us that open table had allowed reservations to be made without the restaurants knowledge and were facing overbooking. We were relegated to a back room that had the feel of a back porch with carpet. I suspect the other diners on the porch with us, all suffered the same overbooked fate, as I heard the hostess explaining the problem with open table, to others as well.
Wasn't thrilled about the ambiance for valentines day, did I mention the incline on the floor, but the food was very good, so I wouldn't let it keep me from going back. Next time I'll call the restaurant for a reservation.
Had reservations, we were not going to be seated for 1+ hours, empty tables that were not bused, only one barmaid, as we were walking out manager was in Office oblivious to floor needs. Multiple customers just as upset. Ridiculous and terrible performance for such a big night - Valentine's Day.
Disappointed that I made 7:30 reservations and didn’t get seated for FORTY minutes after at 8:10. Food was good but we didn’t get our salads for another 45 minutes so instead of eating at 7:30 we ended up eating at 9:00 pm. It seemed like the staff was ill prepared to handle the demand...not sure why I made reservations.
Our table was ready at the time of our reservation. 6:30pm. Our food didn’t arrive until after 7:30pm. We had drinks and apps to play with. My streak was a bit burned/charred as if it was hurried. I didn’t say anything because our waiter said “lucky for you, these are our last ones” and the table next to us also received their food after a longer wait. Food was ok. Slow. Great atmosphere and enjoyed the dinner / time with my wife. I’ve been here before and had better food and service.
Came to Courthouse Grille for Valentines day. Our meals were tasty and waitresses were pleasant and timely
Nice waitstaff, and great food. Waited over an hour for the main dish. Might’ve been understaffed in the kitchen or they were out on the water catching my dinner. Tables were quite close to each other which made it less personal and private. Could use some up to date renovations on the interior. Seemed kind of blah.
We have visited this restaurant many times and have always had pleasant experiences until this lunchtime visit on Valentine's Day. Upon arrival we noticed that only one table was occupied in the main dining room. We were surprised when the host seated us next to that table. Since it was next to the fireplace and the other table had just received their check, we accepted the table. Within two minutes two elderly gentlemen arrived and were seated next to us, despite the fact that the entire dining room was still empty. It was obvious that these men had bad hearing because they both spoke so loud that we could not carry on a conversation without practically yelling across our table. Needless to say, this was not the nice lunch I intended to have with my wife on this special day. To make matters worse, my wife's Lobster Mac and Cheese had very little identifiable lobster in it. These disappointments by both the host and chef will make me think twice about visiting again, considering the numerous dining options in our area.
The staff was courteous, efficient and hospitable, and the food was tasty and well presented. We'll be stopping by again soon.
The whole experience was great, food tasted great, many options to choose from and the service was quick. We will definitely be going back!
We’ve celebrated birthdays here before. It seems almost out of the way, very near residential areas of Plymouth rather than downtown. Parking is very easy, and at lunch at least the dining room is very quiet. The entire waitstaff is very congenial and easy to work with, from suggestions to service and attentive response.
We both ordered the Kobe beef burger, which was huge, and prepared exactly as specified.
For our “twin” birthdays, actually a couple of weeks apart, we were offered desserts which were marvelous - triple chocolate cake, and cannolis, freshly filled and excellent.
Love this spot. Always have a good meal. The bar room has live entertainment but not to loud so you can still talk to each other. If you prefer the dining room is quieter. They also have several private rooms. Both the bar and main dining room have fireplaces which I found warm and cozy but my husband said he was too warm and would have preferred to be further away. I love the cherry veal dish but this time I had chicken piccata. Very good. Will continue going back to try different items. Very reasonably priced. Affordable wine list.
When we previously lived in the area, we dined at Ernesto's on numerous occasions, and enjoyed the restaurant. On our return to the area, it seemed appropriate to revisit this location. We were disappointed that more has changed than the name.
We have been to the restaurant many times. This was my birthday dinner, so it was something special. I made a reservation through open table, requested a table by the fireplace, as I knew it was going to be cold. The restaurant said they never got the reservation. The place was empty, but the table near the fireplace was not available. Anyway, food was ok. My husband's prime rib was cold. I had chicken marsala which was ok. Waiter was just ok. When it was time to pay the bill he forgot about us. I wish Sam (the owner) well, but not sure we will be back.
The Courthouse Grille never disappoints. Food is great. After dinner we were entertained in the bar by the singers. Perfect evening.
There were no vegetarian options available on the NYE menu, and we were unable to see the menu online as well. 6 members in our party were vegetarians and ended up ordering the same generic spaghetti dish that was offered to us. (The usual menu has multiple vegetarian options)
Also our reservation was at 7.30 pm, and we were seated only at 8.15 pm ...
Not the experience we hoped for on NYE.
We went for New Years Eve dinner, the food was very good, I had the scallops which were cooked perfectly. My husband had the walleye which he said was very good.
The service was fantastic and the food was perfect. My niece had sausage ravioli and I had the grilled salmon. Nothing exciting about grilled salmon of course but that’s what I wanted and it was delicious. The sausage ravioli was superb. A large portion for lunch! We shared the lemoncello cake. It was light and delicate but very flavorful. Sitting near the fireplace made for a cozy experience.
This time for lunch, for our first time. Very good values for their fish and other dishes.
Anything we have ordered has been excellent. Known for the lasagna.
