We really enjoyed our dinner and drinks, and the live entertainment--Stan Whitaker--was amazing!!!
Dinner was good but roasted brussel sprouts were under cooked making them difficult to eat. Everything else was delicious.
Restaurant is one of our favorites and we will continue to frequent it. 😊
Another excellent meal. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was very good as were the seared ahi tacos.
We have eaten here on at least 4 previously occasions. The service is always great and the food never disappoints.
Prompt seating and service all 3 meals looked and tasted great!
Dinner specials are always creative and never disappoint. Most recent dinner I chose the seared scallops and they were perfection! Servers are always friendly and professional. You can always find something interesting on the wine and drinks list to try! Definitely worth multiple visits!
We usually go to the cork at least once a week. We truly enjoy the staff, they know our preferences and always give excellent service. The owners are very hands-on and the chef is always changing things up. Super spot to unwind for the weekend.
This is not a bargain restaurant but worth every penny. The down to earth atmosphere and ambiance complements the out of this world food. Over a course of several dinners, paired tastings, and a brunch, all of the food was excellent to outstanding. Cocktails are great, including several interesting martinis, and the wine list is another excellent feature of this little restaurant with a big personality.
In addition, there are several specials and events every month that are detailed on the website. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant for a special experience.
You can expect good food , drink and service at a reasonable price.
Cork was on point, yet again. They never disappoint. Our table was set and waiting for us as soon as we walked in the door. With tonight being St. Patrick’s Day, we opted for the Irish fare instead of the normal menu. Everything was excellent. Our waiter, Cole, was fantastic and took great care of us. We are always extremely pleased with our dining experiences at Cork.
First time, went out to dinner and it happened to be St Paddy's Day. I WISH the potato and leek soup special were a daily menu staple. My mother's mahi order looked a bit tiny compared to other dishes, but everything was well prepared and delicious! Will definitely go back for a night of small plates and drinks.
Although the food was great, our waitress certainly had attitude. When we asked for bread, she said they don’t usually provide it but she’d get some. So she brought a small stale baguette that was inedible. She never smiled and really acted as if it was an effort to wait on us. If this had been my first visit, I would never return. But I’ve been there with different servers and had a great experience. What a bummer for a romantic date night.
Food was delicious and our server was amazing! Would highly recommend Sunday brunch!
I have never had a bad experience or any "bad" food at the Cork. Everything is always delicious!! The Valentine's Day menu was incredible and certainly reasonably priced. Four courses and a glass of champagne for $49! Entrees included filet mignon, scallops, lamb chops... Highly recommend!
Love The Cork . Yes I’m a regular so they know what I like and is so comfortable .. Thursday is martini night and they are so delicious . Tuesday is half price for a bottle of wine another reason to go . I love their filets , comes with crab Mac & cheese to die for . Enough to give me lunch the next day . This is my go to place as I’ve never had a bad meal or a bad drink .
Love this restaurant...Go frequently...love the food, but most important love the staff...Always treated with great attitude and exceptional service...highly recommend!
We usually enjoy County Cork but this visit missed the mark. We had a reservation but were seated at an awkward high top stuck between a booth and the coat rack, other people’s hanging coats were actually bumping into my husband’s back. Avoid sitting here if possible. Also, my go to meal choice, the tuna tacos, were cold, the tuna wasn’t properly seared and the avocado was missing from two of the three tacos. Service was fine. Hopefully this was an off night...
Great brunch
i went to this place when it first opened quite a lot. I had a couple bad experiences and did not go back until this past weekend. It was fair at best, food fair, wine selection poor and ambiance fair. Very disappointed, this place has a huge opportunity to have great local organic food being surrounded by many farms. the food was more like a Friday's or Ruby Tuesday to me. I would not recommend this place and suggest you go to a few miles down the road to Turf Valley area where they have more updated menus and great selections of Restaurant choices. It is a shame being so close to our Eldersburg neighborhood this is no longer on my want to visit list. I will say that Nicole was our waitress and she was outstanding.
Four of us went for dinner during Howard County Restaurant Week. We thought the selection contained a good variety. The Thai shrimp were delicious. The buffalo cauliflower was not. Strip steak was cooked perfectly. Blackened swordfish was tasty but not spicy.
Good for 1/2 price wine and appetizers. I don't care for the oil used in their cooking for dinners, but I load up on appetizers!!
We were a bit disappointed this time. The food was just average. We went to brunch on a Sunday but everyone ordered something different from the menu. I had the waffle sandwich (recommended by the waitress as a favorite) - the waffles were tasteless and dry even with syrup. My son had Eggs Chesapeake and the egg was overdone, nephew had an omelette which was okay, my brother had the tuna rolls and again just okay. No one loved their meal and wanted to return. I was disappointed as I had lunch here about a year ago and really liked it. Maybe because it was a Sunday? Not sure.
The timing was quiet and semi-empty seating. The service was excellent and the food was moderately good. I tend to stick with the appetizers because I don't care for the cooking oil used often in the main entrees. I like the change up every once in a while, but it is not my favorite restaurant.
I used to love this restaurant. It’s been about 2 years since I was here, I won’t be back. The food was just not good.
Everything was excellent, though next time I'll ask for less or no Old Bay on the potatoes.
Crab cakes were very salty, but I would go back again and try something else. My husband's ahi tacos were excellent. Nice casual, cozy bar/grille with good menu selection.
Great New Year's Eve celebration at The Cork. We have been here many times and the service is great, the food always superb and a nice small restaurant atmosphere. The guitar/vocalist played most of my favorites (without me requesting anything) and was very good.
My wife and I had dinner at the Cork on New Year's Eve 12/31/2017. The dinner was served in courses and each was delicious. We enjoyed our dinner and dessert with a great Black Ankle wine and kept up with the Ravens game. It was a very very nice dinner and atmosphere. Thanks again!
We went with friends for New Years Eve and had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent and the specialty cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend!
Food was ok. The place is small, and has a very quaint atmosphere. We went for Sunday Brunch on Christmas Eve, and was surprised no specials. I got the corn beef hash, there was way too many potatoes and was on the dry side. My son got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was heavily battered and cooked to a brown crisp. My daughter got an egg with crab, and she said it was good. Our food was lukewarm when served and the place was not crowded.our waitress was not very attentive.
This is a place to try, as I have been here several times, however it is a hit or miss.
Went this time for a wine glass painting . So much fun . So much better then a picture . She was very helpful . Thank you for hosting
Always fantastic... never disappoints... love this restaurant
We had bottomless mimosas for $12 each. I drank my first one and asked for a second. Server wouldn’t bring it to me until my friend finished hers. But then a guy server came over later and brought me one right away. Mostly orange juice. Not a good value if you only have three. Chicken and waffles was only half good. The waffle is pretty hard to mess up, the chicken could have been better. The end pieces were burnt and breaking off. It was breaded in corn meal or something funky. Not good. Server never quality checked us and the mimosa situation was weird.
I love this place ! They have monthly wine tastings . They really get to know you so yes they know when I go in what I'm going to drink and eat. Have specialty nights . Tuesday half price wine bottle night and Thursdays $5 martini nights . Oh they are so good . I have never had a bad meal . I've eaten brunch, lunch & numerous dinners . One of my favorite spots as my friends & family will tell you . There is outside seating but the view is parking lot & Rt 26 but you get a wonderful breeze . My favorite is their filets . Perfection and the staff is so friendly and caring
Enjoyed our food & drinks. The staff was very friendly & happy. Especially enjoyed the music! Made us feel young again! Will definitely return!
Great place with great food. The only down side was they brought some one in to sing. It was loud. They tried to turn him down but it was still loud. They have a nice restaurant. Leave the the singing to the larger bars. Just wanted to enjoy the good food and wine along with good conservation.
The Cork is on our list of regulars, once or twice a month. Excellent service, knowledgable staff, and some interesting items on the menu. Not your usual "Meatloaf and mashed" kind of place.
We recommend.
Four of us had lunch here. It was not crowded so it was quiet and the service was fine. It is an interesting luncheon menu because some of the usual items are not offered, like a tuna fish sandwich or a BLT. The combinations of ingredients in their lunch offerings are interesting and delicious, on the gourmet, adventurous side.
Our minor complaint is that one of us had the grilled vegetable/spinach salad, which he said was very tasty, but sparse on the grilled vegetables. I had a small plate with mushrooms in a filling and it was delicious, but small. I could have eaten two of them! Our friends had the crusty fish sandwiches which were good and big.
So two of us wanted more, and two had plenty, all delicious.
The monthly wine tasting/small plate pairing is always a treat with well thought out menus for both wine and food. All wines were from Washington State and also affordable by the bottle. The food pairing matched perfectly from the appetizer oyster stew in a shell with a dry elegant Riesling to the dessert pumpkin mousse & chocolate shavings with a rich dark Cabernet Sauvignon.
Troy, the wine rep, was on hand for wine info. He always energizes the event with his knowledge and great sense of humor. Arlene, the owner, was always at hand to make sure everyone was having good time and wanted for nothing.
Our party of six added a flatbread and then dessert after the tasting to finish offf the evening.
The food was delicious as it was on the previous visits. Our server, Valerie was outstanding.
