Love this place! Food is amazing. Staff is great.😊 wish I could go here every day for a meal
Favorite special occasion restaurant!! The fried chicken is my absolute favorite dish.
The food and service were better than ever, and I was happy to note that the sound level was much lower than in years past.
The food at Country Cat is consistently good but it’s the practical and professional waitstaff who stand out. They’re efficient, friendly, not fussy. . . Just damn good at keeping things running smoothly!
Country Cat is one of our faves! Great food, easy location, and the service is AMAZING! I try to order something different every time I'm there, and I'm never disappointed.
Great Brunch for a larger group. Will go again soon!
Went with friends and had a nice, easy time with great food.
Delicious food in a comfortable, friendly, casual atmosphere.
We had a great meal
I love this place, I take my family here any time I get the chance!
We live in kennewick wa, and every time we visit Portland we go there for breakfast =) it's always amazing!
Awesome! Was even a perfect place for my sons 13th birthday!
Their fried chicken is wonderful—in fact, we have never had a meal there that wasn’t fantastic!
Fantastic selection of comfort food done up in an eclectic way! Service was fantastic! We will be back!
Known for their fried chicken and mashed potatoes! But the duck meatballs were amazing. We love this place and go there often.
We love taking out of town guests to eat at Country Cat!
We loved this place! Perhaps a larger Poutine serving would be nicer. The burger was excellent. My parents can't stop talking about how nice this place is.
Great atmosphere. Great food and drinks. Met some friends here and had a good time.
Some of the food was very good and some was fair. Duck meatballs very salty, gristle in my chicken wild rice soup. Too much green goddess on the Bibb salad but the crab appetizer was fabulous. Might be awhile before or if I go back. Very disappointing.
The six of us had an awesome time! The noise level was high.
We were seated quickly. The server was friendly and our food was prompt. We started with the cream biscuits and they were deliciously large so we weren't as hungry as we should have been for lunch. We had two preteens and two adults and didn't finish our food since their serving size is generous. I love their fried chicken!
Second time coming and it was quite an enjoyable experience. I don't really remember the first time. The bartender made me a delicious mocktail, the server was attentive and helpful. The food was amazing! So much flavor and everything was cooked perfectly. Certainly worth the time and money, highly recommended.
Delicious Brunch meal with excellent service.
Excellent service, fantastic food - looking forward to going back!
We had the challah French toast, the breakfast fried chicken, and the dinner fried chicken that we shared among three. Everything was delicious. There wasn’t even a so-so item on our plates! The French bread wasn’t too sweet, and the whipped cream had something tangy (crème fraîche? yogurt?) in it that made it so much better than plain whipped cream. Chicken was crispy and flavorful, not over cooked. I wish I had a whole order of just collard greens, because it was so good!
While our server was lovely, the only bummer thing was that I made a reservation for 10:30 and still had to wait for our table about 15-20 minutes.
Amazing food great service! Such a great time with out friends. I want to try brunch sometime. I bet it’s amazing too!!
Love the food always! We celebrated my best friend's birthday on a busy night and everything was delicious!
Dinner was delicious. It was a little cold in the restaurant but warmed up after a while. The deviled eggs are to die for!! They are not your grandmas!! We had the chicken and the whole hog. Everything was wonderful. The prices were great and will definitely be coming back
We were a party of 4. Servicer was nice, but rushed and inattentive. 3/4 of us thought Pecan rolls were delicious, 1 thought too sweet. My oldest kiddos grilled cheese was burned & cheese not melted. Eggs Benedict with sweet biscuits not a hit with my son, he prefers savory. My daughter loved her biscuits, but not the gravy. My dinner style fried chicken came with all dark meat, greens were delicious, mashed pots pretty good. Chicken breasts ordered on the side were delicious. I do appreciate the manager discounted the grilled cheese and gave me a chicken breast to go as it was left out if my meal. But it was over all disappointing for a $100 meal. If we go back we will order sides of chicken breasts, biscuits, and greens.
Never a disappointment best breakfast in Portland!
Our server was amazing and food was delicious
Outstanding service, delicious food (although the wedge salad is not really a wedge salad, I would avoid that one....), and fun atmosphere. The wine pours are very generous, in case you are interested in that! It is a noisy, bustling place but lots of fun.
Brunch for a birthday group. We had to add a last minute attendee and the staff was very accommodating. Our server, Shelby, was extremely efficient and very friendly. Never made us feel rushed even though it was a busy time. She did an outstanding job. The fried chicken brunch dish with spoonbread was heavenly. Everyone was happy!
Had a very nice dinner at Country Cat. Our server was attentive, the atmosphere was lively (but not noisy), and the food was all around delicious. Would definitely go back again for dinner.
Wanted to say thank you to Country Cat and share what was an awesome experience. I wanted to get a few friends together for a quick birthday dinner preceding a night of dancing and fun. We reserved a table of 8, but 2 different people canceled at the last minute, and not everyone was perfectly on time. We had vegans and vegetarians on our party. I don’t think we were a party from hell by a long shot, but we were definitely a little more involved from a service standpoint. The staff at Country Cat didn’t seem to hold it against us. The service was friendly and quick and this made for a very enjoyable night for us. Thank you thank you and thank you..can’t tell you how much I appreciate the way we were treated. (Oh and of course the food and drink were stellar - that’s always a given here..) :)
Manages to be a very nice special occasion place and very informal at the same time. Avoids the new uber-hip conformist inner Portland feel- something more genuine. We had the salmon. Portland has lots of salmon. This was special. Help was perfect, and friendly. We'll be back.
Great breakfast , reasonably priced , large servings, good service. Minor complaint is it is very noisy.
We went there and 4 out of 5 of us ordered something different. Everyone really loved what they got. We are looking forward to checking them out again.
always great atmosphere, service and food. fantastic menu always! thank you~!!!!!!
