We were in town for a family event and picked Cornerstone based on its availability for a larger-sized group on short notice. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and good lunch options!
Went on St Patrick's Day. Had a Reservation.
Waited about 50 minutes but considering the holiday wasn't bad. Would go back.
The Cornerstone has been a constant joy for us to visit time after time. It's like walking onto a movie set, with floating two level dining and music, great food, and a cozy atmosphere all at once. Our server Jermaine was very attentive and did his best to make our dining experience pleasant. Attentive but not intrusive. We love the Cornerstone for so many reasons!
We were checking this restaurant out for hosting a birthday brunch and decided to try the food. My husband had their drunken chicken which was delicious -huge portion, presented well and tasty. I had their Asian salmon salad which was fresh and prepared well. We would definitely have dinner here again. Friendly and efficient wait staff.
Food is consistent.
Beautiful inside. And a full menu. Looking forward to going back again
Fun place. Good live music and decent bar food. Worth a try.
The service was good -- polite and quick. The drinks were tasty and affordable. The food --- not so great. What passed for a steak sandwich was actually 3 nicely cooked large pcs. of steak on VERY HARD pcs. of bread (glad I don't have dentures!!)
I might try them again--- but stay away from their faux steak sandwiches!
The food was excellent and the service was good. I just think the potions could have been just a little bigger for the price they charged.
Incredible atmosphere, great food. Three levels of decor and two bars, fabulous!
I was extremely disappointed with the quantity of food. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp special for about $21 and was greeted with a plate of French Fries with 5 medium sized shrimp on the side. It came without the chipotle dipping sauce and cole slaw which I had to request. After the server checked the special menu to make sure that I was entitled to it, he went to get it and returned about 5 minutes later. By this time, the shrimp was no longer hot and barely edible. The server felt bad, spoke to the manager and ordered me 3 more shrimp which came in about 10 minutes after my wife and I were completely done with the food (including the chipotle dipping sauce which came late in the first place). I will not be returning to this dining establishment.
After reviewing the menu online, I chose the Cornerstone because it looked diverse and enjoyable. I am happy I did. The place was rocking but not over crowded.
The food was excellent. The staff was awesome. The prices(which everyone cares about) were more than reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I plan on returning.
The restaurant was great. Location was easy to get to. The wait staff left something to be desired. Food portions were substantial. Would recommend to others but with the side note of saying be very clear to the wait staff what you want as there may be a few issues. We were also advised prior to our visit that on your birthday you get a free bottle of champagne. That never happened although we stated very clearly that we were there for a birthday.
Service was good, ambience was good, food was very disappointing; if you're thirsty give it a try, if you have taste buds don't bother nothing tasty going on here
I had been here before and the food was very good, but not this time. The warning flag should have been when we walked in at 8:45 on a Saturday night and the place was empty. Ordered calamari as an appetizer which was chewy , slimy and pretty much inedible. Entrees came out and my steak was tough, dried out and looked like it had been sitting for a while. Vegetables were just soaked in oil and had little flavor, mashed potatoes were bland and cold. I'm not sure what has happened to this restaurant but I was very disappointed and will definitely not be back.
My heart sank when - as I pulled into the parking lot - I saw large numbers of women bearing gifts, balloons and many many squealing and/or weeping children entering the Cornerstone. Noise! Screaming kids! Luckily there's a separate party room so we barely heard a peep, squeal or scream from the group. The food itself is plentiful and uniformly delicious. In addition to breakfast favorites (scrambled eggs, awesome home fries, waffles, french toast, bacon, omelets, etc.) there are also lunch-y things like pasta and dessert stuff. Also: chocolate fountain, if you're so inclined. I was not, after observing a stray 6-year old dip her finger in the chocolate, lick, then dip again. And again. Other than that, highly recommended!
Went for brunch last Sunday 9/7/2014. Wasn't the best idea first official football sunday. It was very loud the brunch was far from where we were sitting since we went at 130 there wasn't much options for food left. It took atleast 15 minutes for the server to come over. Once we did he was very apologetic but at that point we were pretty annoyed. I had been here before and the food was pretty good, probably better off ordering from the menu and avoid the buffet on a Sunday.
The waitress came over quickly to take our drink orders, but it took her a while to bring the drinks back. At that point we ordered, and I ordered soup with my entree. It took 20 minutes to get my soup, and that was after asking about it. It was a tasteless cup of lobster crab bisque. It then took at least another 20 minutes to have our entrees delivered, which means that those at my table who did not order an appetizer waited over 40 minutes to get food. We were never offered bread. The mashed potatoes were ice cold, and my daughters filet mingon sandwhich had very little meat on it. The food was not the quality we expected. We had been planning on having dessert, but because the service was soooo slow we declined dessert.
The food is more than one would expect from a bar. It's also a great place to sit and people watch. My one complaint was that about half way through dinner someone started fiddling with the lights. They were dimming and brightening for about 10 minutes.
My friend and I had the lamb shank which was delicious. Also the desserts such as the pecan pie and brownies were served warm and with whipped cream. Definitely comfort food. I would go back again and have recommended it to friends!
