My overall experience was good. We went for brunch and the best part of the brunch is the buffet and the inclusion of all-you-can-drink. The problem was that the food isn't that tasty...lots of options but as a serious foodie that gets excited by delicious food, I wasn't impressed. I did drink very well - great mimosas, champagne and bellinis.
We were there for a Sunday brunch and could hardly hold a conversation because the TV both in the bar and the lower floor were soooo loud. And the guys watching the football game were loud and rude.
Really good experience. I took my gf here for our aniversary and the food was good. Great deal on wings. Service was good, he even dated my left overs for me. Prices are ok and menu has a lot of great choices. Fast and easy reservations were made by open table.
Food is great , service is great, good size portions!
Food was absolutely amazing i often frequent this place for the night life. But will definitely start coming for the food. The service is amazing and the staff is well trained and energetic.
The food is good and the atmosphere is nice with poster pictures of blues singers: Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie and instruments hung on the wall - bango, clarinet, etc.
We had a group of 10 friends and all had a wonderful time and everyone's food was great. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We will definately be going back there.
Went with a group for dinner on a Friday night. Great place. Food is good atmosphere is energetic. Night life after 10 is awesome as well.
My daughter and I ate at the Cornerstone and then we found the food so good we went back a week later with some of her friends and then took my whole family there for my Dad's 84th birthday.
while this is basically a bar, one would not expect great foods; however, the open-faced roast beef sandwich was the saddest plate of glob ever seen. Deli type roast beef under jar-type gravy over wonder bread... you get the picture...
Fun place. Good for groups. Great energetic atmosphere.
I think that this would have been a much better experience if we hadn't been seated next to a children's birthday party. There were about 20 kids there & there was really no supervision. The kids were running around & sticking their fingers in the chocolate fountains everyone shared for brunch. It was unappetizing to say the least. Most of the other food was good, with the exception of the scrambled eggs. They looked like egg salad, they weren't very good.
Appetizers were very, very good and plentiful. The dinners were reasonably priced and also very good. Very pleased with the service, food and price. Would certainly return.
We had a great meal, served by a wonderful server -- He kept on top of things and was extremely friendly. All in all it was a wonderful time.
Had a great St. Patrick's Day Meal; will try and make it a family tradition...
Had a great meal with very attentive and personable server! Looking forward to returning!!
Made an impromptu reservation on New Year's Eve-- not expecting much for this local restaurant that has switched owners 3-4 times since we've lived here: the previous evolution was a nightmare. Why??? The space is fantastic: big dining room, upstairs, downstairs, fireplace, 2 bars...
-- A little mix-up in seating, but they bought us a round as apology, Great service from managers to hosts to waiters to bar servers to busboys... Pleasant, respectful, efficient. --Perfect Vodka/Tonic (I like them TALL) The overall menu looked great, but we opted for simple and got one of the best burgers we've ever had, cooked perfectly, crispy fries (reg & sweet pot): Cornerstone finally got it right! And with a nice stroll to and fro, we will return!!
Food is definitely good, and not too pricey. My fiance and I went there to check out the food for our rehearsal dinner because we had never been there before. We ended up booking the place! The only issue we had is that the bar is quite large, and we went on a Sunday night, and there were a lot of people at the bar drinking and yelling at the football games that were on TV that night! Definitely an "active" bar scene. Good place for 20- and 30-somethings who want to go to a bar.
My first mistake in heading to Cornerstone was that I wanted to have conversation with the people I was with, and I headed there at 6 p.m. on a Sunday when there was a football game. The hostess lead us to the back, because "everywhere else is so noisy." Unfortunately the "quiet" section where we were seated wasn't really much better, so conversation was very minimal, and strained. This is definitely a place to go if you want to grab drinks and watch a football game, but not a place for a nice dinner out. The food was good - nothing special (or anything for serious foodies), but it tasted good. The service was sub par, but it was also a busy night. Go for pub-type food, but definitely don't head there on a first date!
Dining at the Cornerstone Restaurant and Bar was a delightful experience. Their menu was extensive and varied accompanied by a Daily Specials list that offered new and exciting food combinations. Our waiter was able to answer any questions we had and offered a substitution on a dish that wasn't even mentioned. The ambience is rustic, yet warm and inviting. We were attended to before, during and after, making our evening a memorable one and I'll be sure to recommend this restaurant to others with a glowing report.
Loved the atmosphere and food. Service was a bite slow and unattended at times. Fireplace and open floor design was fun! Will come back again, for sure!
Our waitress was exceptional! Good service, friendly and pleasant. Enjoyed our free bottle of champagne which was given for a birthday celebration. Food was hot, portions were big and tasty.
Great food! outstanding service! very quick service from a very fun and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
The "SuperSkins" weren't so super just ordinary... I had a burger and it was great, but I ordered sweet potato fries and got regualar fries my wife had the Shrimp Papparedella and said it was excellent. The shrimp dish cried for a nice crusty Italian bread... but none came. We dined early on a Saturday night (6:00pm) and the restaurant was kind of quiet... I image that it jumps later at night. The waitress and table service was absolutely great. Will definately return
I went with a group of friends for a night out, appetizers and drinks. We got four appetizers and they were all awesome. There was a nice large cocktail menu, so there was something for all of us. A few of us tried different things that we've never had before, and really liked them. Our server was helpful and really friendly. It was a Saturday night, and the dinner crowd changed to a late night crowd. The place had a lot of energy!
Great place to hang out or have a nice dinner! Bartenders and servers are all really friendly and helpful.
