Having made the reservation for a special family get together over a month in advance, we were disappointed to get stuck in a corner with no view at sunset.
I believe the restaurant just reopened to it’s traditional mode of operation ( the Santa Ana Cafe has been operating out of the Corn Maiden space while going through renovations).
Although some of the dishes are pricy, the food is delicious and the ambiance is lovely. Our server was a nice person, but not very focused on our table or needs. He over poured wine, while some in our party we’re still enjoying cocktails. Thus necessitating ordering another bottle for the entree portion of our dinner.

Our server was AMAZING! The food was good. Other than that I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was FREEZING, the table next to us was way too loud, and it took way too long for the dinner. I am not sure why we were seated next to these people when the rest of the restaurant was empty.

We dined here for Easter brunch and the overall experience was wonderful. Food was delicious and presented well. The only area that was not up to standards was the service. We were greeted by our server after about 10 minutes and basically the rest of the meal we got everything from the server assistant. I would have preferred to have tipped the assistant as he took care of us better than our server. Our server literally just got our drink order and brought out the check. He did come back to make sure he added the gratuity to the check and that was about it.

My wife and i went to this restaurant for easter brunch. we do not do a lot of brunches. for some reason we really wanted to brunch easter day. we could not get into bien shur at sandia. we were told about the corn maiden. i read good reviews so we decided to book it.

the price was high. the bien shur and the sheraton were cheaper.

the food was limited. the shrimp and the prime rib were good. the omlet station was good. the noodle station was average. the rolls were hockey pucks. overall, the deserts were average. the restaurant could have gotten better quality bread, muffins, rolls, vegetables, deserts, and other premade items from sam's or costco.

the service was spotty. the waitress was good but rest of the service was average. the staff did not keep an eye on dirty plates or empty coffee cups.

there is no outdoor dining patio.

the restaurant was not laid out for a brunch and it showed. the hot food was in the cooking area. very tight.

turns out the hotel had the exact same buffet at its cheaper restaurant, the santa ana cafe. the cafe has a terrific patio with a terrific quiet view. the patio was crowded.

The staff was exceptionally accommodating, the food was very good and the atmosphere was the best. The view was "to die for." This was the best view of the Sandia's and the Bosque we have ever seen .................................and we've lived here for over 50 years. Everyone should give this restaurant a visit, it will be well worth the drive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. My husband accidentally broke a glass and the waitress calmly and professionally said we could move to another table. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, with the rolls, then the appetizers timed perfectly in between.

I've had the pleasure to dine at The Corn Maiden several times now and try various dishes from their menu, and I have yet to be even remotely disappointed with any aspect of the experience. The food is absolutely fantastic; the atmosphere is relaxed while maintaining a subtle air of sophistication; the customer service is practically flawless.

It is definitely one of the most expensive restaurants I've been to in the Albuquerque area, and it's a bit of a drive to get there from Albuquerque (the restaurant is located a short way north of Bernalillo, just off of NM highway 528). But the drive and the bill at the end of the meal are both easily worth it! I will enthusiastically recommend this to anyone looking for a more special dining experience than you can usually find in Albuquerque and the surrounding area.

After years of relying on The Corn Maiden for the best table service in Albuquerque, I'm going to have to reconsider. I think my server was borrowed from the cafe, which was closed Friday night, as she wasn't completely familiar with the menu and had to ask about multiple items I was interested in. The green chile posole was incredibly bland, perhaps due to being "tourist friendly", no NM spiciness whatsoever, quite disappointing. One detail remaining consistent is how stingy they are with their breads. You are offered a tiny scone or corn bread muffin, both of which are delicious, but, why not come back around to offer more or offer more the first time. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and they certainly could have afforded to share more of their delicious bakery treats. We had the filet and the rotisserie option with beef, chicken and pork. While the filet was delivered with a steak knife in advance, the other was not and needed something sharper than the butter knife, as the beef and pork weren't tender enough, requiring a bit of a sawing motion to get through the item. The honey Butterfinger ice cream and chocolate torte were the highlight of the meal, both incredible endings to a mediocre meal experience, quite a departure from what we have enjoyed on previous anniversaries, birthdays and Mother's/Father's Day excursions to The Corn Maiden. The server's poor attentiveness was only highlighted by the other server who constantly checked on her tables and we've actually enjoyed her serve us on previous visits. I hope this was only one off night and not the usual experience to expect on future decisions to give the restaurant another try.

We love the Tamaya Resort and have dined on the patio dozens of times. We finally tried the Corn Maiden, and it was a major disappointment. For a high end restaurant, the service was some of the worst I've ever had. Our total dining experience lasted over 3 hours. Not our fault or by choice, but because the server was sooooo inattentive. Even getting the check picked up took forever, and I finally had to take it to someone in the kitchen so we could get out of there.
The atmosphere is very nice just like the rest of the resort, but honestly the food was quite average at best. Out of 5 meals, we had to send 2 of them back for corrections. We're not that picky, but c'mon at $50 a plate the food should be prepared as requested.

We're definitely a one-and-done customer.

Unfortunately they had a fixed menu for New Year’s Eve. The pumpkin starter was Luke warm and I could only taste the chili. The salad was pitiful, iceberg no dressing the steak was good but tiny and as were the deserts which were mediocre. I love this restaurant but not this night. Very disappointed. Donot go out for dinner on holidays the food is never as good and is mass produced for the crowds.

Definitely one of the best places to eat in Albuquerque. It is a bit of a drive to get there, but it is completely worth it. The ambiance is quiet, dim (but not dark), cozy and romantic. Service was beyond reproach (Arman was fantastic!) and the food has to be tasted to be believed.
