The Cooperage is comfortable for families dining with children and features a large bar area with flat screen TV's, 12 beers on tap, eight wine selections on tap, and award winning cocktail list.
Poor service. Looks like they didn't have enough help.
Food and service were good but would’ve been better if I didn’t have to ask for butter and jam for my toast... so simple ...
ordered from the brunch menu....very disappointed. ordered, two eggs over easy and that is exactly what i received. also, menu mentioned potatoes however, a small bag of tater tots was provided. additionally, the meal came with one piece of toast. for $15.00, expected significantly more.
Very nice place to meet with friends.
The service was good and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
It's also a great place to watch sports with friends as well.
Waiter was MIA. Did the bare minimum. Food was mediocre. Served lukewarm not hot. Waiter never came back to check after dropping off the food.
This was our first foray into the inner sanctum (back room) of Cooperage. While it's not really unique in atmosphere it's MUCH quieter than the rest of the interiors, and we could hear each other talk. Our waitress was an ace: she was on her 9th hour of work, but was amiable and organized. We had a great evening.
Great Food, Great service, Great atmosphere. Server Geoffrey was wonderful . We will return again.
I took my mother and son there for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious and extent portions. The mushroom omelet with goat cheese was life changing! The French toast edges were a little hard but the taste was amazing. The service however could have been better. Out waiter disappeared for 10 min and we were waiting to place our order. Because of this other tables who acme after us received their food before us which was a little frustrating. The ambiance was nice and the manager checked on us twice after we received our food.
Our third visit...and our last.
Took 40 minutes for appetizers to come out, and then one of them was wrong and had to be sent back. During that long wait, we had to ask our server twice to bring us a bread basket. After an hour and 20 minutes of watching everyone else eat, we gave up on our main courses arriving and walked out hungry and aggravated.
this place could be so great if it was properly managed and had a more seasoned wait staff.
if you go, bring your patience and some snacks in your pocket to tide you over.
Every dish was excellent. My favorite were the Korean Chicken Sliders, yum!!
We are frequent diners at Cooperage and enjoy the facility very much. The food has always been very good as well as the service. However, on our last visit the service was not up to the usual standard. It took an unusually long time to receive our order, with out any explanation. Also, my wife was not offered any refill of her drink. We understand that sometimes things just do not go well so we will be back.
We had a very nice time. Sat outside under the eves. Great service. Nice dishes. Very comfortable event
Did they get a new chef? The food was absolutely awful, in fact most of the dishes were inedible. Cold, soggy and just flat out gross. We sent our food back three times hoping for an improvement nope. Not only that, the waitress didn't even take the items off our bill. Bad service. Seemed like no one really cared. We won't be back.
3 ladies out for dinner and was excited to try Cooperage. First they couldn’t find our reservation but sat us anyway. Service was extremely slow. Coffee was cold and dessert was stale. Sent both back. Lots of young children being very loud and affected our ability to hear each other talk. Would not go back.
Great setting. Hopefully the service and food will be better.
The food was good, but the service was not great. Our server was a friendly guy, but there were kind of basic mistakes: delivering us an appetizer we didn’t order. Then delivering appetizer without serving plates. Then the main dinner is delivered before the table had been cleared - so we’re scrambling to move stuff, make room, etc. and our appetizer was cold - we sent it back and they delivered a piping hot one which was nice. In any event, for the price point they should do better.
eat here all the time. Use to really love it but menu change brought it down for us. last few times the service has been really unattentive and the food very average. Seemingly very few waiters but lots of bussers. My food came cold, but waiter never checked in and could get anyone's attention. Then at end he offered me fresh hot fries. Cold mussels definitely not recommended. It wasn't very busy.
Rest of party seemed fine with their food.
Ambiance is nice and gin tonics are good.
We love to come to your restaurant. It was a busy night so service wasn’t as tentative but understood with the amount of people. My salmon was not cooked how I asked. No opportunity to send back.
It was an unfortunate situation, the power went out prior to us ordering our meal. Understandable. The problem was that everyone did notice the lights have gone out, okay, but the management and servers communicated vaguely. Our server was not kind, perhaps its his "style" and our party of 3 was not drinking alcohol. We were told the kitchen couldn't cook anything but the were serving alcohol. We were talking so we figured it was alright to sit and make other arrangements for dinner - to celebrate our friends birthday. As we sat, the servers were bringing bread baskets to the tables that were ordering alcohol. We were completely ignored when were attempting to get our check for 2 iced teas and an appetizer we started with. I was told by our server that he couldn't give us our bill because the computers were down .... 2 iced teas and a $14.00 brussel sprouts appetizer. Do you know it was absolutely impossible to get a cost of the iced tea from anyone, let alone our server. All the staff stayed far away from the customers. I did the math and we left cash so we could leave. Unfortunately, it was doubly bad - the power outage, no problem. The service fell short - why didn't the manager announce to the whole resturant that service would be halted and comped the smaller tabs so we could leave when ready - instead we had to wait for power? Our bill was $20.00. They kept serving alcohol, what were they going to do if the power hadn't come back on? How in the world were they going to collect on the bills ....???
Great food but very slow service and attention
Burger is delicious! Love the burrata. Great cocktails. Something for everyone!
Food was good, service not so much. Asked repeatedly for items that never arrived including coffee at end of lunch which took 20 minutes. Couldn’t even give us the right check to sign after running our card. Nice place but service needs a overhaul.
Cooperage is a fine spot for a weeknight meal, convenient and convivial. The menu is okay, although more seafood items would be appreciated. My filet was a bit on the thin side, not quite as thick as I expected. My son really enjoyed his New York Steak.
Service was sporadic, we had to ask for bread service., but otherwise acceptable. Overall, a good neighborhood spot.
It's getting great again! New food items, super great service and back to it's top spot!
Great, location with a beautiful outdoor seating area. We had Easter Brunch and everything was delicious. Our service was also wonderful.
This is a great deal for big appetites. The portions are huge. The taste...meh.
Service was really bad...waiter came back 20 minutes after we ordered to inform us she forgot what we ordered...really?????got appetizer with main course...meat was tough..food was pricey and not worth it....will not go back
Great service. Appetizer delicious spicy almonds, olives and hummus. Wedge salad huge....could feed 3 and artfully presented with wonderful grilled shrimp. Hamburger huge and delicious.
We had been at the Cooperage before and liked the food. This time we ordered from the Brunch menu and it was not very good which means that we are not planning to go back. For the cost it could have been presented a little nicer. However, the service was polite and friendly.
I made a reservation at 1PM , arrived early and the hostess seated me right away outside which I requested perfect weather, nice ambiance we had lovely lunch with good good server Anastasia is very attentive in our needs, plenty of metered parking nearby, if you will in Lafayette area stop by in checked it out one of best gem in the neighborhood.
The menu is very inviting and the food is great, but on this visit the service was atrocious. Our waiter greeted us as soon as we sat down and took our drink orders. My OJ arrived soon after fresh and cold the way I like it. However it seemed to take about 10 minutes before my wife received her coffee. At about the same time a party of four was seated at an adjacent table. They received water and their waiter took their food order before our waiter returned to take ours. Indeed it was about 20 minute before our food order was taken. I noted on the menu that a side of bacon was $4 but if you added bacon to the egg dish my wife wanted it was $3. Since my wife and I wanted to share bacon I asked if the amount of bacon differed between the two options and was told they were the same – four pieces of bacon. So my wife added bacon to her egg dish. When it arrived it had only two slices of bacon. When we pointed out we were told we would receive four slices we eventually received three more slices and were not charged. We asked for water, but never received any. Finally after our table was cleared my wife went to the bathroom and a woman who appeared to be a manager came over if we needed anything else. I informed I was still waiting for our check. The party of four I mentioned earlier had eaten their meal and paid their bill before we received our check.
Wonderful as always, but the drinks from the bar do take a long time to arrive.
First time there. Very noisy bar area but hostess found us a quiet corner. Food was average and not commensurate with price to our way of thinking. Service was good.
The sea bass was very good, but I was disappointed the rotisserie chicken was no longer on the menu.
Great Prime Rib .... being seated in the bar area it was too loud. Our waitress had a cute friendly manner and gave us great service. Overall definitely 4 out of 5
The waiter and overall service was great. The decor, noise level and vibe inside was good too. Unfortunately the food was not great. Our family ordered the sea bass (not much flavor), the cheeseburger (it was overcooked), the bolognese pasta (no flavor) and I ordered the fried chicken sliders (tasted very average-similar to Panda Express). Our bill was very, very pricey for what we ordered. For those prices, we wanted to love it.
Just okay food. Pork Ribs were dry, Brussels sprouts are good, steaks are on the expensive side. Just okay .....
Really enjoyed our night at the Cooperage. Food was great, service excellent and cocktails ... outstanding.
It is the 4th time I have been to Cooperage and it never fails to live up to my high expectations. Great food, fun atmosphere, nice wait staff. Cooperage remains high on my list of top local restaurants.
