Our lunch was excellent, especially the Ahi tuna/avocado special. I live near the Inn and go there often, but this lunch was especially good. And the view can’t be beat!

We loved the opportunity to take advantage of the Valentine's menu. Ahi tuna salad, crispy brussel sprouts to start, yum.
Lobster resotto, Beef short rib and Mushroom cassoulet for main courses.... amazing!
Last but not least chocolate molten cake, creme brulee and salted caramel triple chocolate tart, is your mouth watering?
Katelyn our server was wonderful and fun. Drinks and wine go without saying, always delicious.

Should communicated limited menu at reservation time. Online photos shows a bar. There is no public bar.

The food and cocktails were A+. The service staff equally top notch, friendly, engaging appropriately and caring about getting it right. The only downside is represented by this quote from the waitress when I asked if she forgot my cocktail, "we have 3 floors filled with tables and 1 bartender". The same issue apparently in the kitchen. The kitchen was also backed up. They need more staff to support a full house (Valentine's Day 2018). After two hours plus, we asked for desert to just be boxed up.
We will definitely go back on a less busy night.

Took my wife here for Valentine's Day. Nice scenic area near Sugarloaf Mountain. Menu was the Valentine's Day special menu.
Martini's were great.
Brussel sprout appetizer was very good, duck confit was so so
Meals (short ribs and salmon) were great
Desserts were very good too.
Heard great things about Sunday Brunch so we'll need to return to try that out.
Special occasion place for sure

Food was good, loved the atmosphere! Service was really bad, we were never checked on, took 30 minutes to get our dessert after we were finished diner. We never received our chocolate covered strawberries as was part of the Valentine’s Day dinner. We won’t go out of our way to go back but, may try again some day.

One of our favorite dining establishments! Family at end of hall quite boisterous, slightly disrupting our dinner. Scallops were outstanding as were the Blondie dessert topped with vanilla ice cream!

The Inn is always a great place for special occasions and quiet dinners with friends. The fried Brussels sprout appetizer and the lamb with the special sauce and cheesy grits followed by the melt-in-your mouth brownie were all excellent choices. I doubt that one could have a "bad" meal here. It isn't a cheap place to eat, but the food, service and ambiance are a good value.

We have always loved Comus. Their food is delicious and always on point. I highly recommend the carb hush puppies. We were there for my husband’s birthday and they surprised us with a treat for him. And since we were on an adult date night, they did not mind us taking our time with every course.

Beautiful room overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain. Fancy China and lovely setup BUT kitchen misplaced our order. We waited for over an hour and yes wine was given free as compensation .... Time is money and our afternoon plans were shot. My own order was only OK. All around it was a disappointment. It will be awhile before we dine there again.

We were there for Thanksgiving dinner. Gave us a terrible table, oddly shaped that made it difficult to carry a conversation. Took 20 minutes for a waitress to come by. Ordered a bottle of wine. 20 minutes later they came back and said they didn’t hVe it. Took another 10 minutes to get the replacement. Buffet food was good, better than expected, but a bit expensive at $50 per serving. Overall less than I hoped for.

Been to Comus Inn previously. Always has been an exceptional place - good food, good ambiance, good scenery of Sugarloaf Mt.

Would not recommend on special occasions when they only serve their overpriced buffets. We went there for Thanksgiving. When we went to the buffet tables, I started with a salad. Good salad selection, but their carafes of dressing were empty. Only after I mentioned they were out of salad dressing did they refill the carafes - took over 5 minutes. Then went to the main food line. The dressing tray was empty - took them 10 minutes to provide another tray. As I made my way done the food line, the ham tray and sweet potato trays were empty too and it took 5 minutes to restock the trays with food.
Obviously they could not keep pace with the people they were serving. Very disappointing. What was more disappointing was when I finally was able to get some rosemary sage dressing - it was bland with no taste.

Comus Inn has always been an exceptional place when I go there for dinner . But when it comes to them serving buffets on special occasions, they don’t do well in serving the large crowds.

I enjoy dining at fine resturant. The Comus Inn falls flat in many areas. Service is slow, food is just okay nothing special, big mark up on cocktail. So many more better dining choices around.

Great place for dinner. The food and presentation were excellent. The trout and the salmon were perfect. If you like crab, you will love the crab hush puppies for an appetizer. Wonderful wine and mixed drink menu.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is like an old inn in the country. The owner and the staff are very accommodating and make you feel especially welcome to be joining them. The food can match any of the best restaurants without having the cold expense account feel.

I very much recommend the Comus Inn. You will not be disappointed.

The Comus Inn is a beautiful restaurant very close to Sugarloaf Mountain. Not much else is nearby. I recommend going after a hike on the mountain and/or after visiting the Sugarloaf Mountain Winery. Then that makes the drive really worth it!

The Comus Inn is quite expensive, so I recommend going only as a special occasion. And make sure to bring a change of clothes if you do plan to go after a hike! It's very fancy, so you want to dress appropriately.

We ALWAYS have a wonderful dining experience at Comus Inn! From the moment we are greeted at reception by Jesse and the manager, to being shown to our table, the staff is extremely attentive. We love coming here to celebrate special occasions as the experience never disappoints.
The menu offers familiar favorites as well as unique and delicious selections. The only recommendation would be to offer more selections for those with dietary restrictions.
Our server was knowledgeable and provided helpful suggestions.
The only negative, and it is a small one, would be to make reservations during the week when a wedding is more unlikely. The tent obscures the view, and the parking can be difficult as a result.

The Comus Inn is a wonderful place. HOWEVER THE PORTION SIZE IS MUCH TOO LARGE! I had the Muffuletta Sandwich and I could not open my mouth wide enough to eat it--and I am a large person! I had to resort to a knife and fork and only ate 50% of it. My friend had the Fried Green Tomato BLT. She was able to handle 1/2 of it with a knife and fork and brought the other half home.

I recognize that some Restaurants try to make up for a lack of quality by serving big portions. The Comus Inn doesn't have to do that.

Our waitress was very cheerful and offered to box up my parent's leftovers.
When we first arrived the air conditioning vent was making it very chilly by my chair. The hostess brought over some extra menus to cover the vent to make my seat much more comfortable. First class service and food was wonderful and presentation was lovely. Kind of pricey for everyday dinners but great date night or special occasions.

No view! Large wedding tent blocked the view! Service was slow but Sunday brunch was not very busy. Took 5-7 minutes just to be acknowledged, then we only got water. I would of liked to put my cocktail order in. Our appetizer came later after we were already eating our entree. Will not return. Very disappointed! They only seem to care about weddings, not individual customers.

We love dining at the Comus Inn. The portions are large; we split a soup, an entree and a side. The entire bill, which included one non-alcoholic drink, came to $58 after tax. The view of Sugarloaf Mountain, the outstanding service and scrumptuous menu make this locale worth the drive.
