Fabulous staff, great food! Perfect for a casual dinner after a long day of travel.
Food wait was longer than expected and our server did not seem to know about the kids meal program (50% off an entree). Still decent brunch for our son’s birthday
Amazing experience as usual, especially for Easter :)
Music was terrible for Easter Sunday morning.
We will never go back again. Horribly slow service, horrible serving order, and we were just treated as additional unwanted workload by the staff. Never again.
Very happy with the food, service and ambiance. Great place to dine
CRISPY CALAMARI is great. All three non-veget burger/sandwich are fresh, well prepared, and juicy. Will certainly come again.
Their Dueling Piano Show is absolutely Fantastic, We have been to almost every single one with family, friends and Clients. The service is exceptional and the Food was perfect for lite bites and a show that makes you, whether you want to or not, get out of your chair and dance. Always a must show to see at Club M
Went to meet with friends in the band that was Playing the main stage! Great Night also ran in to fellow employees of my last Job, Greg told us the party and dancing goes on till early am! Great venue, nice Service staff great full service from the management.
Once again, it never disappoints. Its a great place for quiet conversation and a good meal. Most restaurants in the area are bustling with no parking, many tables, chaos - this is quiet and never disappoints.
If you're looking for a bustling atmosphere in a restaurant - this is not for you.
Perfect location for peaceful conversation and private time. Food is fantastic and service is on par. I've always enjoyed lunches here.
No way this restaurant should be part of the grand del mar...it is bad in general comparing to a 5 star hotel.
Always consistent and a lovely outdoor setting. Great service and delicious fish tacos and churro sundae. Excellent music in the evening in club M!
Don't waste your time! Quite possibly the worst dining experience of my life! After being seated we waited another 20 minutes before going back to hostess stand to see if we could get a server. Both heaters by our table were broken. We had 2 meals come out and then about another 10 minutes later the other two came out. Final straw was the single most disgusting cheeseburger I have ever tasted, so bad I actually spit it out. To be clear, this has never happened to me before.. I didn't know it was possible to not like a burger!
It was okay. Service was pleasant, but slow at the end of our meal. Cocktails are over-priced and not generous for the price, but it is a hotel and that is a given in San Diego. Food was good, but again, over-priced. I probably will not eat here again in order to spend $ on cocktails in out dancing for the evening.
My friends and I enjoyed a beautiful Sunday brunch here, prior to playing a round a golf. We sat outdoors and were presented with a more than gorgeous view of the course while sipping perfectly made mimosas. Our server was very attentive and explained the menu options in a surprisingly artistic way. I also recall the female bartender welcoming us with a warm hello, with her hands cusped behind her back, as he walked us out to our table. She had even sent our table a free mojito to enjoy as she had been 'practicing' a new concoction. This gesture sealed the deal! As for our meals, each of us ordered the eggs benedict - outstanding! The hollandaise sauce was enriched with chili spices and was absolutely delicious. There is no doubt we will be returning! This is a special spot to say the least.
Went here for Mother's Day...it was not that crowded however...and although the service was good...our food took almost 45 min. to arrive at the table. = (
I had a reservation for Mother's Day I booked ahead of time but when I got there they had no table ready we had to wait and wait for someone to get us a table when we did it was the worst table you could have. I asked if we could switch tables 21 people had departed from but they said they were saving it for a party of four as we were a party of three. The gentleman went and asked the manager if that would be OK and he came back finally but we were standing in the middle of the restaurant and said OK. The sheets were wet so obviously someone with a baby fit on headset on the cushion so my beautiful clothes got wet there was food all under my chair and on my chair when I sat down and then we had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes just to get a waitress to come over and ask us for drinks and then she had to leave to go get an order and came back finally and took our order. The food took a long time to get but it was very good it was my Mother's Day after all we had to put up with you would've thought they would've given me a glass of champagne but honestly I wouldn't go back there for a special occasion or maybe even ever go back there I thought the service was not what it should be for a five-star hotel and I honestly was very disappointed that on Mother's Day they did not have the tables preset and ready to go For those who had made reservations way in advance.
We came here for an Easter brunch. I will say this right off the bat, the food was absolutely delicious. I was disappointed because of the service. At a "5 star" resort, I would expect it to be better. We ordered an appetizer and the waiter never put that in, brought out our food, and we asked where it is. He was like "oh yeah...." I just said nevermind. No apology, nothing. Then my husband and I ordered the same thing. I took one item off my food but my husband said leave his as is described on the menu. Well, when he got his sandwich, they didn't put everything on the way that he asked. So for a place that describes itself as "5 star resort" they ought to have their waiters do a better job.
We went there for a birthday dinner celebration and strictly to go dancing. Come to find out the club was closed for a private function! Sad
The staff were welcoming and attentive. The ambiance was cozy with the fireplace burning. Conversation was lively at the bar with the bowl games on TV. Overall I nice place for casual lunch or brunch.
My overall experience was really good. I had two issue; 1: We were asked to move to another table once we sat down and ordered our drinks (we chose to stay where we had been seated); 2: The kids that the adults allowed to run around the tables without their shoes, screaming, and taking items from the buffet with their hands.
Ridiculously overpriced, very mediocre food, few selection for a $55/person + 20% mandatory tip for thanksgiving buffet. Will never do that again.
No one seems to be managing the restaurant, No decaf coffee!!! We had to ask for everything including salt and pepper. We asked for fried eggs and got poached. This used to be a good restaurant before Fairmont took over the hotel. Never again.
The mac and cheese was crazy dry. The iced tea wasn't good, maybe order from a new vendor. We were glad that you had a gluten free bread option for the burger but the burger was pretty bland. The fries had a perfect amount of salt. The bacon wrapped dates were the best thing we had, on point. The cauliflower appetizer was pretty scarce, very small portion and not impressive. A very forgettable meal
I was in town from Illinois. My husband and I had a wonderful time dining at the Clubhouse Grill. When in town in the future we will definitely dine there again.
Nice venue, part of the Fairmont Grand Del Mar property, and they even offer complimentary return golf cart shuttle service to the restaurant which is a short distance away from the main hotel. Great views of the lush property. Casual upscale fare, great for lunch and for families.
Our party of four enjoyed our meals. The food was perfectly prepared, inventive and tasty. It was a little on the high side price wise (BLT for $28!) and had too thick bread, but it tasted great (I only ate one side of bread with it) and the server was excellent.
The fish & chips, chips and french fries were very good as was their cappuccino!
Club M used to be a good place to dine outside with a good, but less expensive menu. We went there for Valentine's Day and for $75 each we had scant and mediocre meals and had to share one small, unremarkable dessert. The music outside was way too loud, which the manager had lowered for us. This place is trying to be a five-star "happening hot spot" but it falls short. Nice ambiance but no substance or value.
I can't speak for the food, but we got up and left after sitting there for 15 minutes without as much as a glance from any of the staff. It can be forgiven if they were super busy and you get some type of contact letting them know they'll be with you in a minute, but the place was not that busy.
I've been to Addison numerous times and have always received superb service, so maybe we caught them on a bad day..
Wonderful lunch very relaxed no rushing.
We had fish tacos and BLT with a salad excellent presentation. A definite quiet spot for a lunch.
We sat outside and it was very nice with views of the golf course. Service was exceptional. Not overbearing but always nearby. Food was good but typical lunch fare. Prices were reasonable. Wish I could remember our server's name as he was great.
We've been going to Club M for over 2 years now and usually have a good time, good service and good food. Last night we had none of these things. Despite the heat, the AC in the main room was non-existent and was extremely uncomfortable. Service was terrible -- for the last 2 hours our waitress (and any other waitstaff) was MIA and we were left high and dry, and unable to order food or drink. When I went to the bar to get water, they gave me a glass of room temperature water, with no ice. When we were finally able to track down our bill, we discovered that I was charged for doubles, when in fact I only had 2 single pour drinks...and weak ones at that. We'll give it one more try (the band was great), but if this is how Fairmont is going to treat their guests after taking over the resort, then we'll take our business elsewhere.
The server was ok except the fact that the different drinks were served that didn't match our order. My friend had a bad headache because the alcohol was probably a cheaper brand than what we ordered.
The food & service was good, but the seating is not good. Bar-no, Restaurant with band was way too loud, and the outdoor seating was too cold even with heaters. Last time we will try this for dinner.
Don't order the chicken and waffles unless you are a big fan of hot, on fire peppers! I ordered this dish a couple of months ago and it was fine. Apparently a new cook decided to set it on fire. It was inedible and I had to send it back. That's never pleasant. Atmosphere is very nice, but be careful to ask about peppers- not something I would expect at breakfast.
We had 4 small plates and had a hard time deciding which one was the best! Our waiter Daniel (also served as our bartender) was very informative and helped us with our selections.
But server was great. We enjoyed the surroundings.
The tables next to the dance floor is arranged too closely with the tables behind them. I am assuming that they want to open up space as an alley for people to walk around or even stand around. But, that is why the reservation is required for. I think for people with reserved table should not feel suffocated or hostile by other people in the rear row of tables who are demanding to move my seat for them to pass through to walk to the dancing floor. The manager should be aware of how inconvenient this close table arrangements between the first row and second row of tables next to the dancing area cause people from think twice about making the reservation again in the club.
Nice club, upscale venue! Will definitely go again!!
