The Club Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
The hostess was very poor with her attitude about giving us a table with a reservation. She just sat us between two noisy tables. A table was available els where but she stated that is was reserved! The table stayed open while we were there. Very bad!! Will not be going back!!
the club will be moving on to my go to spots for dinning. the Prime Rib special was nearly too large for the plate- Perfectly done and served with fresh spinach that was creamed - all for the price of a fast, not to fabulous food price and served with attention on table cloths! Can't do better than that.
I got the Monday special rock shrimp wrap for lunch. It was a generous portion but I would have liked it better if the shrimp wash't deep fried. It comes with fries or salad. My husband got the Thai salad which he liked very much. It was quite crowded on Monday noon so I would suggest reservations.
This is a great neighborhood restaurant that has good food and service. I got the shrimp louie and it came with a big pile of shrimp stacked on top. Very impressive looking and very good. It is one of my favorites. My husband got the blackened salmon salad which he really liked also.
We dined here with friends for Xmas eve brunch. We were seated promptly near the fireplace (cozy) and ordered Ramos fizz which was large and tasty. Eggs Benedict was ordered. The waitperson asked if we wanted eggs runny, medium or hard - what class! It was perfectly prepared to order. A hot pastrami with melted cheese was served on toasted rye with side choice of salad, soup. I chose Caesar which was large and could only ate ½ of large sandwich, rest taken home. There was ¾ “ high of pastrami. The salmon salad was ample and well presented. We had a wonderful dining experience prior to the matinee movie. A solid local place with an excellent friendly bartender to go pre movie, after golf, or watch a sporting event.
Our favorite dining destination after movie time at the Regency 6. Food quality and service are always excellent. The Cajun Linguine is at the top of my list of favorites! I highly recommend this restaurant for diners looking for quiet ambiance, excellent food, and outstanding service.
This continues to be a great place to meet for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. Restaurant an be a little noisy a times, especially for lunch, and makes conversation a little difficult on occasion, the food, particularly the Club Special salad seems to vary in size and ingredients from night to night, I know because I order it all the time. Staff is always pleasant and capable. Bar is convivial and bartenders are very good. Outdoor dining, during summer months, is always pleasant and noise level is lower on patio. Great place to have drinks after playing a round on the 9-hole golf course at McInnis
Restaurant is fine place before/after Century Regency movie down the street. Nice bar, TV to watch sports and relatively quiet for conversation. Menu selection is very good- both variety and quality, quantity. Highlights are their house salad with cranberries, burgers, hot pastrami and pastas. Portions are ample, taco salad was good. Nice beer, wine by glass, and cocktail selections. Desserts as cobbler, hot fudge sundae tend to be dairy heavy. Value is good for size of entrees. Part of 9 hole par3-4 golf course and nice place for banquet.
My husband and I had a very enjoyable dinner. We both had pasta: mine was the fettucine with salmon, which was really delicious and plentiful. He had the sausage pasta and ate every last bite, so I would say he totally enjoyed his as well. We will be back for sure!!
The hostess doesn’t speak to you at all...just walks you to the table and leaves. The waiter, hostess and bartender spent the night talking and never checked on us. If you flag down the waiter for something, and say thank you, he doesn’t respond. My husband had pasta that had a weird taste, gristle in the sausage and watery noodles. No sign of a manager to talk to. Very poor experience.
Really awful food and pitiful ambiance. The online menu isn't even the current menu so don't book off of the menu you see on Open Table. I do not recommend this place for anything more than a beverage after the driving range, golf, mini golf, or the batting cages. It would do much better as a bar because the restaurant is a disaster.
We had a great time. The food was good - not fantastic, but enjoyable. The review would have been much higher had our waitress been friendlier, more efficient and checked in on us now and then. We were there until almost closing time and when she brought our check she said "I need to give you this now so I can get out of here." I spent many years waiting tables. It's understood that closing time is closing time, but that staff expects to be there a bit longer to clean up and get ready for the following day. This felt rude to all of us. I am usually a very generous tipper, given my appreciation for how hard wait staff works. But this waitress got 15% and I had to talk myself into giving her that much. She needs to be retrained.
