The Club Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This continues to be a great place to meet for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. Restaurant an be a little noisy a times, especially for lunch, and makes conversation a little difficult on occasion, the food, particularly the Club Special salad seems to vary in size and ingredients from night to night, I know because I order it all the time. Staff is always pleasant and capable. Bar is convivial and bartenders are very good. Outdoor dining, during summer months, is always pleasant and noise level is lower on patio. Great place to have drinks after playing a round on the 9-hole golf course at McInnis
Restaurant is fine place before/after Century Regency movie down the street. Nice bar, TV to watch sports and relatively quiet for conversation. Menu selection is very good- both variety and quality, quantity. Highlights are their house salad with cranberries, burgers, hot pastrami and pastas. Portions are ample, taco salad was good. Nice beer, wine by glass, and cocktail selections. Desserts as cobbler, hot fudge sundae tend to be dairy heavy. Value is good for size of entrees. Part of 9 hole par3-4 golf course and nice place for banquet.
My husband and I had a very enjoyable dinner. We both had pasta: mine was the fettucine with salmon, which was really delicious and plentiful. He had the sausage pasta and ate every last bite, so I would say he totally enjoyed his as well. We will be back for sure!!
The hostess doesn’t speak to you at all...just walks you to the table and leaves. The waiter, hostess and bartender spent the night talking and never checked on us. If you flag down the waiter for something, and say thank you, he doesn’t respond. My husband had pasta that had a weird taste, gristle in the sausage and watery noodles. No sign of a manager to talk to. Very poor experience.
Really awful food and pitiful ambiance. The online menu isn't even the current menu so don't book off of the menu you see on Open Table. I do not recommend this place for anything more than a beverage after the driving range, golf, mini golf, or the batting cages. It would do much better as a bar because the restaurant is a disaster.
We had a great time. The food was good - not fantastic, but enjoyable. The review would have been much higher had our waitress been friendlier, more efficient and checked in on us now and then. We were there until almost closing time and when she brought our check she said "I need to give you this now so I can get out of here." I spent many years waiting tables. It's understood that closing time is closing time, but that staff expects to be there a bit longer to clean up and get ready for the following day. This felt rude to all of us. I am usually a very generous tipper, given my appreciation for how hard wait staff works. But this waitress got 15% and I had to talk myself into giving her that much. She needs to be retrained.
This is the second time we have eaten here in a one week period. Both times, the food was very good but the service super slow. Waiter forgot to put in the order for the appetizer but brought it when we were done with the entrees. They seem short of staff. Maybe they need to hire more help. The waiter we had was running from the patio to the indoor seating to keep up.
Have been to the Club Restaurant many times and always get good, friendly service and yummy food. The dining room could use a little updating, as it is dated but comfortable. I always enjoy meeting friends here and the food is delicious and just what is identified in the menu.
Thank you, Club Restaurant, and keep up the good work.
I had the asian skirt steak. It was very flavorful and tender. Cooked medium rare as requested. One of the most flavorful steaks I've had. It reminds me of the teriyaki ribeye once upon a time at Outback Steakhouse. Wife had the salmon salad, which is a known winner here. The outside of the salmon was crisp and flavorful. The inside was good. We will definitely come here again.
Service can be a bit slow.
It is surprising that the place isn't busy, and mostly frequented by elderly caucasians. Need to do something to attract a younger crowd.
This is always a fun and pleasant place to dine as well as meet for a drink after work or after a round of golf. Staff always pleasant and efficient, food good, ambiance pleasant although at times can be loud. The menu has varied and tasty items for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Bar has a wide range of wines and serves mixed drinks as well. Would recommend this as a place to meet friends after work, after viewing a movie at Regency-Smith Ranch, or playing a round of golf at McInnis' 9-hole golf course.
I have been to McInnis numerous times. I was there with three others...their food was good.
I had the Thursday night special....short ribs AND unfortunately, I was very disappointed!
The flavor was great on the ribs, but the actual rib was more fat than meat! The corn puddling was just okay, the sweet potatoe fries were either over cooked or fried twice...so dry!
Will I go back yes, but I will be more careful in what I order. Service was good as usual!
The Rib Eye Steak was very thin and really not cooked properly. Mashed potatoes were
rather cool and vegs cooked too al dente and served on the cool side as well. The
Caesar Salad was the only saving grace to the meal. Waiter was nice. In all I
don't think we will be going back any time soon.
Our occasion was a friend's get together. I had the Thai chicken salad that was excellent. My friends dishes were also very good and plentiful. We shared the warm apple crisp with vanilla ice cream which was delish. We weren't rushed and we were very relaxed. I've eaten here several times and have not been disappointed.
The food was fine but the waiter was horrible. Took forever to get drinks. Then when he finally brought us our food he said he would come back with our catch-up for french fries I believe we could still be waiting if we were still there. And then he never checked on us he didn't even come back to pick up the bill once he left at someone else came and got it.. we spoke with a couple other people that are regulars and they all concurred that he is the worst waiter ever and it takes forever to get anything from him.
