   I thought the food was mediocre. I question whether the Faroe Island Salmon I ordered was farm raised Salmon. I couldn’t recommend dining at Clam although the service and ambiance was excellent

   The Clam has long been our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food is extraordinary, the wine list is wide-ranging with lots of affordable options, and the service couldn't be friendlier. We go several times a year and every time they've been great.,

   Lunch was OK - good but not great. Based on other reviews, I was expecting more…. I was entertaining an out-of-town business colleague, and now wish I had taken her to a restaurant that I have been to before - and know. But will I go back to The Clam > yes!! Clam Chowder was good, and there are several other items on the menu that I would like to try in the future! If you are looking for a casual, neighborhood restaurant, The Clam is a solid choice.

    Nothing like it was years ago. Their staple dish, spaghetti and clams was a disappointment from what I remember from having over two dozen times in the past. Drinks are still good.

    We LOVE The Clam! It consistency delivers great food, service and atmosphere. When I look around the restaurant, the guests seem happy and all the food presentations are beautiful. Favorites: home made chips and clam dip, spaghetti and clams, clam sliders, halibut, Brussels sprouts, and all the desserts.

    I dream about the Spaghetti & Clams! I'm told that everything here is wonderful, but this is all I ever order. The mussels are fabulous too. Lovely atmosphere - friendly staff. LOVE IT.

    The entire experience from the minute we walked in the door to the second we checked out, was an experience to remember. The authentic caring staff together with a phenomenal meal was absolutely perfect. The mussels and the Branzino was the favorite.

    The food was excellent as was the service. The clam chowder was nicely creamy with a lot of clam chunks with a nice crunch with the crackers in it and salted just right (not too salty). The clam and lobster sliders were a perfect combination of taste and texture with each bite. Each time I have been here to eat the same has been true. I have been able to rely upon the scrumptious meal to be gotten as can be attested to by my lunch companion in his first time eating at The Clam.

    Amazing Clam Chowder and Salmon Tartar. Maybe the deserts can improve. We tried the chocolate cake and it was not bad, but not as good as the rest dishes.

    From start to finish our evening at The Clam delighted us. I indicated on the reservation that it was my husband’s birthday. As soon as we were seated and settled, our waiter Pierre appeared with two glasses of champagne, compliments of the restaurant . What a classy move! Pierre timed our courses perfectly and each was delicious, bursting with flavor, and presented beautifully. We ordered dessert and Pierre brought out a second birthday dessert to cap off our celebration! The Clam is a beautiful restaurant, serving amazing food and cocktails (I almost forgot to mention my jalapeño infused tequila delight!) , with staff who are courteous, personable, and aiming to make your experience a special one. Just an excellent dining spot!

    Incredible food. My friend and I went on a Friday and for apps we got oysters and the tuna tartare. My friend got the hanger steak and I got the cod filet. But what was also impressive was how nice and friendly out servers were! Definitely going back. Great food, atmosphere and staff.

    Ordered the peach and burrata salad. Was delish. My lunch mate and I both ordered the crispy tacos which was dry with no taste. Very disappointing. My negative review is mostly regarding the service. The waiter barely tolerated our presence and seemed annoyed to serve us. We were one of three parties having lunch on a Wednesday so he wasn't busy. Just unfriendly. He spoiled the experience for me.
