The Chophouse is a very good neighborhood, suburban steakhouse. Does it compete with the countries top steak restaurants? Except for being pricey, it does not. Having said that if you want a very good meal close to home with very good service, I would recommend it. I had the Kansas City Strip, which was supposed to be blackened and have blue cheese. It had a mountain of cheese but I couldn't see or taste the blackening. My wife's filet was not the thick cut style, I would have expected. Nonetheless very tasty.

My suggestion is that the restaurant heat its plates and season the steaks more. If you are buying a $50-75 steak, it should come out hot and properly season.

One of my favorite places to dine, drink, meet friends and just enjoy!! The service is amazing. We had the best wait person, Manoli.. The food was on point. The wine was on point. And of course the dessert was delicious. It's always a pleasure dinning at the Chop House.

Our experience at The Chop House was wonderful! The food was wonderful! Everything was delicious! Pricey, but delicious. But the best part was the service! We had Heather, and could not have been happier! Only slight drawback is the noise, but overall, it didn’t detract from our enjoyment.

Sat in the bar for happy hour dinner/drinks. Food and drinks were great. Jai helped answer all of our questions about planning an event there.

I have been to Chop House several times over the years. The decor is seriously dated. My drink was so-so, the rollatini app soggy and bland, the truffle fries covered in NOT freshly grated cheese, over-powering the delicate truffle essence, the bread hard. My husband did enjoy his steak and the wedge salad was outstanding. Dessert was the chocolate sundae. The brownie was not fresh and very dry even with ice cream. I’ll not be back.

I've known about The Chop House for years, but being a little distant from our house we never went. What an amazing meal we had. This definitely will be one of our regular places to dine moving forward. The meal was amazing, the service was amazing and the overall scene was energetic.

I booked my reservation for four a week in advance. I responded to the phone call confirming our reservation. When we arrived on time at 7 pm. we were told they were checking on our table. They seated us in front of the service bar where my back was to the view and all I saw was the sink. There were several open tables available beside the one we were seated at. I could barely hear what the waitress was saying as the noise level was awful. The fire pit was never turned on even though the temperature dropped during the course of the meal by 35-30 degrees. Our bill was $571. Which is outrageous for the meal we received. Two bottles of Rutherford Hills Merlot wine cost us $110.00 alone. I feel the Chop House is over priced and will not be returning to the restaurant again.

Great food, great service... wedding Anniversary.. food was excellent. Little pricey but it’s agreat place for a special occasion. You knew you where eating Grade A beef not like chain restaurants. I reccommend Mac n Cheese with crab meat as a appetizer. Also Filet mignon with crabmeat and blue cheese.. The only thing I didn’t like was everything is Al carte. But the side dishes is enough for two people to eat... I would be back ....

Food and service was excellent. But, the patio area where we were seated was loud. We could not carry on a conversation.

Our server was very attentive and the food was amazing. I did order the Chophouse Martini, but it was so strong I could not enjoy it. I hardly tasted the pineapple. Truly was more like straight vodka.
But some people love that!!!

Made my reservation two weeks prior for our anniversary. We were given perfect seating. Our waitress was attentive. Food presentation and taste was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the tuna tartare for app and scallops for dinner. Pure perfection. My husband ordered bone in filet mignon and garlic mashed potatoes for dinner and Kobe meatball for app. He loved it!!!

Great ambiance. We haven’t been here in many years so it was a pleasant surprise to have such a great experience. We started with drinks at the bar. It’s a warm an inviting lounge with plenty of tables in addition to bar seating. We were invited to a cozy booth for two which felt very special. We shared a few oysters, which we re exceptional. Then I had the signature Chophouse salad and my husband had the wedge. My Chophouse salad was so huge that I really couldn’t appreciate my entree. I wish we had shared it. I had the salmon, which was delicious and my husband had the scallops which looked beautiful. We shared the Black Forest bread pudding. It was just okay. Everything was superior. Great service, friendly employees, wonderful ambiance and delicious food. It will be one our favorite places now.

The Chophouse is fantastic. Raymond, our server, was really on-the-ball. The assistants help to fill water glasses and collect empty plates at every opportunity. Claire, the manager of the host staff and restaurant, does a great job overseeing the diners’ experience and making sure everyone is satisfied.

The valet parking attendants, greeters and our waiter Andrew were very friendly. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable regarding the menu and was very patient in answering our questions. I also liked how he frequently came by to fill our water glasses. The rib-eye steak was very flavorful and was juicy enough for a medium cut.

We went for my husband’s birthday and the food, drinks, service, and ambience never disappoints! We love it!

Went here for our anniversary. Location is great, food is phenomenal, service is fantastic. Though I didn’t spend any time there, it looks like the bar is a good place to hang out and for conversation. Waterfront is seasonally available with fire pits to keep warm. Highly recommended. $$

We have been many times but our server Raymond made our experience one to remember! He was very knowledgeable and personable. He also made sure to check in on us but wasn’t hovering. Excellent service, we will be back again!

We had two side dishes potatoes and mushrooms, both were overcooked and greasy.
This was the first that I have been disappointed there.

Delicious food and service!

I have formerly left rave reviews for Chophouse but unfortunately we had a bad experience with our Filets. Both were cooked poorly and the meat was fatty and tasteless. It was bad enough that the chef should have never let them leave the kitchen. We had to send the one steak back as it was undercooked. The server handled it well but no manager visited.

We were very disappointed in our meal their were 5 people in our party and 4 of us ordered the Surf and Turf Special, the steak we ordered was supposed to be cooked as MEDIUM, when we received our meal all of the steak's were NOT MEDIUM, my husband's being the worst it was WELL DONE, he had to send it back 3 times the SECOND TIME it was Rare, the THIRD TIME it was WELL DONE, at that point we were all finished our meal and my husband told the waitress just to cancel his meal and it was taken off the bill, our waitress was very nice and kept apologizing, eventually the manager did come over and apologized also but he felt it was the lighting in the restaurant and not the way the steak was cooked, we felt this was and insult since we have been to many steak houses and know how a steak should be cooked properly. Since the Chophouse is a steak house their should be no excuse's for improper cooking of a steak.

For the price on the menu the service could’ve been betterAnd the quantity could have been more. It was nice in all. But I won’t find myself in there all the time. The server wasn’t bad when she was there. But it was late enough and it wasn’t that busy. She could have been more attentive to our needs. Would have had more drinks. But she was never there. I almost got up and walked across floor 20 ft and ordered my own.

Delicious meal with great service. Chop House Surf and Turf with Filet and Lobster Tail. Filet as well as lobster tail cooked to perfection. Sides were also delicious and a large portion. Lyonnaise Potatoes and Pan Roasted Wild Mushrooms were perfect sides for surf & turf. Desserts also were top notch. Mason Jar Key Lime Pie and Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie Sundae were amazing.

We absolutely love this restaurant for many reasons. We frequent it often. In addition to the great ambiance and food, the service is particularly important to us. David was FANTASTIC!!! We can only hope we have him or equal, as our server again. He made the evening great! We will be back!!!!

My wife and I frequent The ChopHouse (1-2 Days a week). Never a bad meal. From the pleasant hostesses, great bartenders and phenomenal service, its our go to place. Manager Anthony is very professional, friendly and courteous. He is a great manager, always overseeing everything. We have never had to send food back, or complain about anything. Everyone we even take here has also raved about how great of a place it is. If your looking for a great place to go with great food, The ChopHouse is it!

Love this place. Been going for past 15 years to celebrate wedding anniversary and,absolutely it. Would definitely recommend no matter your income bracket. There is something for everyone.

first time at the Chophouse, it was our 33rd wedding anniversary. Nice table with a view of the lake, Raymond was our waiter and very personable and upbeat. Entire staff very attentive. Food was excellent. I little loud but not intolerable. Great steak, good atmosphere, would definitely go back.
