   Had this on the list of eateries to visit in Bath and was not disappointed. The service was excellent as was the food. I had the lamb followed by a dark chocolate mousse both of which were lovely. Thoroughly recommended.

   Disappointing - time limited to 90 minutes which we weren’t informed of until we were sat down. We were rushed throughout the meal by the waiting staff and therefore didn’t have time for dessert. Drinks were forgotten so after reminding the staff, the main course had finished by the time the drinks turned up, served without an apology. Front of house manager actually lied to us when we initially asked to move to an alternative table, telling us that the two separate tables for two were to be combined into a four, which transpired not to have been the case. I’d visited the restaurant two years ago when it really was fantastic, but now is the other end of the spectrum. Food was OK, but nothing particularly noteworthy. Clearly the Bib Gourmand rating has gone to their head. Best avoided; find a proper restaurant in Bath if you’d like some quality.

   Dear Richard Its disappointing that you feel that you can write a review that has very little if any truth in it , shall we run though your points Table time is advised when booking online My GM explained to you that we where fully booked and the only alternative table would have meant cutting your dinning time by 15 minutes which you declined The two glasses of wine that you ordered did take longer to get to you then we would have liked but it was 6 mins from the time the order was placed to you receiving them whilst you were still eating you’re main courses. You were given dessert menus and informed you had 25 mins left and then asked twice if you wanted desserts or coffee , but declined them both I would be happy to discuss any of these point with you Regards Kevin Owner

   Excellent food and very nice ambiance. Great great full Brill and coliflower, great gnocchis but too spicy.

   Great food, but the experience was let down by the service from our waiter who seemed to want to be somewhere else and who we had to remind what we had ordered.
