The Chef's Table at The Omni at Bedford Springs
This is an experience not to be missed! A group no larger than 16 is seated in the kitchen, around the cooking area. One-two chefs, usually including the head chef, cooks the food and explains what he is making and why. The sommelier explains each wine in the flight. The pastry chef makes a special dessert. Lots of food and a bit pricey but so worth it!
As Chef Sam prepared your courses in front of you he chatted and joked with the 17 folks in attendance. He also explained the preparation process and answered questions. He was quite the entertainer. Food was high quality and gourmet. Todd the sommelier was amazing-so friendly and knowledgeable yet extremely professional. Overall an outstanding experience. Would highly recommend to do at least once.
Always a pleasure to dine here- this was our 4th time. You are in the heart of the working kitchen, so ambiance is what you would expect for such an environment. Noise level was modest, easily able to have conversation. Food was excellent, the duck breast course was simply outstanding.Wine pairings were perfect. Would definitely recommend - we will go back again!
Chef Sam does a remarkable job of combining cooking and entertaining. Each dish was delicious, and the wine pairings were spot-on. The atmosphere among the fourteen patrons at the table/counter was convivial and conversational. It was a first-class evening all the way around.

The food is dependent on the chef. Last time it was delicious and this time disappointing. It could have been the holiday weekend, but the food was not great.
My husband and I had a wonderful evening at the Chef's Table and I hope we can come back and do it again! Chef Lashley was fun and engaging while still leaving plenty of time to chat with the new friends we made that night. The quantity and quality of the food was outstanding, as were the wine pairings by Tom, the sommelier. He did an excellent job explaining the choices he made for us that evening and the pairings were all delicious. Most impressive was how Tom managed to remember every guest's name as he continued to greet us whenever we saw him throughout the weekend. Thanks to Chef Lashley, Tom and the rest of the team for what was the highlight of our weekend away!

Chef had a cold and needed to blow his nose. It was hard to look past what may be coming out of his nose on top of our food over what he was doing.

Absolutely LOVED chef Sam! Super friendly and great personality to ask any questions at all. The food was amazing each and every course. Definitely do the wine pairing for continuous pours of a good variety of well-paired beverages. The service was top-notch and very attentive. The price was so worth the amount of food, quality, presentation, ambiance, service, friendliness, and live atmosphere. Would totally do this again!

I have always wanted to be a part of a Chefs Table experience and this was my first. It was so much fun. My husband and I really enjoyed it.
This was an overall AMAZINGLY delicious experience. Sam, Todd and Kiera were so very talented and attentive to our needs. They really personalized this experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef accommodated my need for shellfish allergy. The drink pairings were very on point and I enjoyed learning about where the wines were sourced and the story behind them. Sam and his team were simply wonderful. The courses were fantastic with homegrown herbs and he is full of wonderful stories.
Overall, I highly recommend this experience.
Visited for our Anniversary. Have been to a few different "Chef's Tables" over the years, but this was by far the most engaging and entertaining. And of course the food & wine were outstanding.
This was a wonderfully unique experience that is well worth the cost of the meal. Chef Tylor is thoughtful and engaging, and very happy to answer questions while preparing course after course of delicious items. That interaction certainly adds to the experience. Similarly, Todd does a fantastic job of pairing wines with various courses, and is very knowledgeable and nice to talk with. Everyone else involved with the meal makes sure to go above and beyond expectation, ensuring that the experience is memorable and one you'll look forward to repeating.

What a memorable experience! Every bite was perfectly prepared, from appetizer to dessert. The drink pairings were excellent matches. The explanations and interactions with the chef and sommelier were informative and interesting. And, as a couple of introverts, we were surprised how much we enjoyed our fellow diners. Wouldn’t have changed a thing.

This is a MUST do when you come to Bedford. This was our second time attending this dinner, and we will definitely be doing it every time we come back.
Expensive but worth every penny. Todd and Billy knocked it outta the park. We had a small group (our 4 and another couple) which made it even better and more intimate. We’ll definitely do it again.
Let’s just say you won’t be disappointed!! Service was also spectacular, but the food...you just have to experience it, there are no words.

We enjoyed our first experience at the chef's table at Bedford springs resort. The crew staff chef, everyone were extremely nice, and very informative. We will probably do it again. The only thing that I think could be improved upon is the temperature of the food. It was fun to watch the chefs prepare the food, and trying to keep it all together before it gets served us I wish that it could have been a little warmer. That is my only comment. Thanks again hope this helps

The Chef’s Table at Bedford Springs was amazing. It was more than a tasting menu. We had three full-size entrees, a full-size dessert, accompanied by real servings of wine. The menu included sea scallop, duck breast, halibut, and a short rib. The wine pairings were perfect. It was an incredible night!
The Chef’s Table is a must try experience. It reminds you of going to Sunday dinner with the family but having it take place in the middle of a TV cooking show.
The atmosphere is the first thing that gets your attention, they have this large marble topped setup right in the middle of the main production kitchen for the resort. You are greater by the amazing staff at the Springs before going in and given a description of what is about to happen.
As far as the food goes it was excellent. Chef Billy prepared our menu for the evening and cooked the dishes in front of us taking questions and interacting the entire time. Todd did the wine pairing and a great job explaining the pairing with the food. I walked away from the evening with an excellent experience and have been telling my friends and family about it.
I have been staying at the hotel for 5 years and this was the first time I had the opportunity to dine at The Chefs Table. Very cool laid back atmosphere being involved in the kitchen and watching the preparation. It was informative as well as every course being explained and very different. I am a Martini drinker but I thoroughly enjoyed the wine pairings and the explanations. I actually took a video of Todd explaining one of the wines. It was an education for me . The food was excellent and very tasteful. The sauces were impeccable. I had a minor issue with the steak . It was not quite up to my expectations. The sea bass and the accompanying sauce was delicious. The price is exactly what you would expect for the food. The wine. And the education. The service and knowledge that the staff provided were impeccable. A definite experience for anyone passing through Bedford!
The food was just ok. We’ve attended in the past and the food was much better. The steak was over cooked to our request. The dessert had cucumber in it and it was so over whelming that was the only flavor that was present. There were 5 wine pairings and 4 were white. it would have been nice to have another red in the mix. The servers were very nice and attentive. Overall for the cost, it was disappointing from the last experience.
A truly outstanding experience, not to be missed. Chef Josh is a real catch, brilliant and engaging. The meal was exquisite, and the wine pairing brilliant. Superb service, lovely staff.
The food was amazing, executive Sous Chef Josh and Sam were a terrific dynamic duo and the wine pairings and explanations provided by Lamonte, Todd, Keira and Jacob simply capped off a perfect experience!
