   The food was very good, though the service was sub-par. Understanding it's a training restaurant for George Brown college one would hope they'd have the basics of service down cold. We were a table of 3, where two of us ordered an appetizer and the third did not. The server timed the food for the 2 appetizers and the one main course to all be tabled at the same time. Leaving the person who received their main early not to have anything to eat when the appetizers were finished and the other two mains arrived.

   Great experience. It is fun to have students involved and share their enthusiasm. The service and the food were both wonderful and we will surely go back again very soon.

   Excellent service by great staff/students. Food exceeded our expectations. I would definitely go again and try all the rest of the menu.

   I loved this experience. The students were attentive as were the instructors . The food was very good.

   We will be returning again. The menu selections are not exhaustive but even then it was hard to choose both the appetizers and main course. Every dish was amazing both in the presentation and the actual flavours.

   We like going to The Chef's House and often go with friends. Nice room, good food and service make for pleasant times.

   It was my first time at The Chef's Table but I will certainly be back! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was impressed. The friendly attention of the staff, the delectable choices on the menu, the presentation on each plate that came to our table, the cool music coming over the speakers...both my guest and I were wowed. Our lunch was memorable for all the right reasons!

   Fantastic food and beverage at a good price in a cool space. Support George Brown students as they gain experience in an easygoing atmosphere. Menu changes w the semesters

   I mistakenly assumed that the salmon was wild and was disappointed to find out that it is farmed. Overall meal and service were good.

    For a lunch gathering of four longtime friends who meet only annually we were given a banquette near the rear of the restaurant which nonetheless left for some challenge to catch conversations across the table. But a testimonial of the restaurant's success on a Monday lunchtime! All the servers were attentive ... and learning ... but charming and professional. Several menu items fit a seniors' luncheon preferences, more modest than a full dinner and our table sampled the dumplings, risotto and shrimp pasta options, all tasty and beautifully plated and luncheon portions. The appetizer of mushroom salad was easily shareable, even beyond two. Only two of us had room for dessert, an English cake in custard sauce and a chocolate mousse that was very generous with various chocolate confections and a creme anglaise to moisten the combination. It is a pleasure to support the students and we were glad to leave a non-tip to support their program.
