Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, The Chefs’ House is an innovative, student-focused concept restaurant where students from George Brown College's Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts have the opportunity to learn from the best teacher - experience. It also gives the public the opportunity to experience a relaxed urban dining experience.

                          We have been trying to book at The Chef’s House for the last few years. And we’ve finally made it and as expected, it’s amazing experience. Thanks also to the students of George Brown for a job well done!

                          The evening was exquisite The menu was excellent and the food for both myself and my wife could not have been any better. The starter of asparagus, Palmer ham, and how it was served was excellent. The main meals were of miso cod - perfectly cooked and delicious and duck for my wife was also perfect. The desert of panacotta was the best I have tasted The passion fruit juice and fruit was amazing This was one of the nicest meals we have had in 2025 - and we eat out a great deal Congratulations to the whole team 10/10 AJB

                          Food was presented beautifully, like art. Tasted as good or even better then it looked. We found the server a bit hard to hear as he spoke too quickly and quietly. That's the only reason service gets 4 stars.

                          Honestly their food was better than Cluny's in the Distillery -- where we ate last week. Staff was responsive, natural, kind. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. What I would expect from a 5 star restaurant.

                          Great hidden spot. Awesome to see the culinary school students apply their craft. The food is always very good. The service is great. It is a great place to go, especially mid week, as it is not as busy. I think good value for excellent cuisine.

                          We go here a lot and really like it. Last night was different from the usual experience. The kitchen was overwhelmed by a large group in the room downstairs and our main course was quite a time in arriving. We were with friends and we took the opportunity to chat but it was their first time at The Chef's House and we were disappointed that the meal wasn't a little more seamless....
