This is a restaurant organised and run as part of the culinary training course at George Brown College. It is a great way of supporting their eductation! The food is creative, beautifully prepared and nicely presented. The servers are still learning and although they are good, they could be a little more attentive. It is a nice, bright spot with a good vibe. The prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality, so you can see why it was well filled with happy diners. I have been several times and will return.

The food is spectacular. Their apple, fennel and brûlée cheese salad is truly a salad of dreams. We love coming here for a fancy work lunch and will continue to come back.

Great unique combination of flavours. Fennel apple salad with pecans and brûlée goat cheese was amazing.

Took a friend here for lunch who had never been it was excellent as usual. Well done GBC and all the students for a job well done. The food was outstanding and the service from our waiter I believe his name was Nav (apologies if I have misspelled) was excellent. Always checking in with us and always had a smile on his face. Some Toronto restaurants could learn something from him.

Overall we enjoyed our experience here. Our daughter was celebrating her 13th birthday and has said she is interested in taking culinary program after high school so we thought it would be a good experience for us to try this restaurant for the first time. Ambience and service was very good and but the food was just luke warm, could’ve been hotter. We had the shrimp fettuccini, steak frites, pumpkin seed soup, and roast salmon.

This was a our first time at The Chefs House. The menu changes 2x per year. We had a very enjoyable experience. Food was very good. Easy to book. Interior and table setting were also very nice.

The food was very good, though the service was sub-par. Understanding it's a training restaurant for George Brown college one would hope they'd have the basics of service down cold. We were a table of 3, where two of us ordered an appetizer and the third did not. The server timed the food for the 2 appetizers and the one main course to all be tabled at the same time. Leaving the person who received their main early not to have anything to eat when the appetizers were finished and the other two mains arrived.

Great experience. It is fun to have students involved and share their enthusiasm. The service and the food were both wonderful and we will surely go back again very soon.
