It is with great pleasure and 20 years of traveling that we bring you our interpretation and flair of the American gusto to traditional European dishes. This was our 4th year in a row celebrating our wedding anniversary at The Chateau, and this visit was just as memorable as the last three. We were warmly welcomed by Mark, and delighted to have Kim as our server again (she’s so delightful!). Great food, attentive service, we always feel welcomed. Hands down this is the best restaurant on the lake!

Food was just ok. Not worth the money. Risotto was dry and over cooked. Duck Confit was over cooked.

Lovely restaurant on the lake with incredible and unique menu offerings. Staff are top notch professionals and helpful in every way. Desserts the best too! They also have outstanding wine list. A must do when in Lake George! We will be back. Try the tuna tartare!

I ordered the salmon with wild rice dish. It had absolutely no flavor. I asked for salt and pepper and that didn't help. They did comp that dish, but it was disappointing.

We received a gift card to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. Neither of us had been there before. The restaurant is fairly secluded from the main hubbub of the village. We were greeted with a warm welcome and brought to our table immediately. The server arrived promptly and explained the menu. She took our drink order and gave us time to peruse the menu. My husband started with the lobster bisque which he thoroughly enjoyed. He chose the Chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection. I chose a shrimp cocktail to start and enjoyed the Chicken Francese with fingerling potatoes and broccoli. Very tasty. We chose to split the carrot cake for dessert and took an order of macrons to go for later. The Chateau is very elegant and if you are looking for a nice quiet romantic dinner - this is the place to go.
