Amazing place for dinner . Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Loved the fireplace area and the Adirondack chairs close to the lake. Very nice restaurant for a date night .

We were seated promptly at 8:15 and it was 9:30 when we received our meals. Our waitress was lovely and checked in with us often and apologized. My chicken francese tasted good but the fingerling potatoes were very undercooked and I left them on the plate. Lobster tails were good although the broth had a funny taste to me. You can’t beat the setting; it is beautiful walking into the Chateau and the outside is wonderful. The chefs need to get their acts together on a busy Saturday night.

Ive been here before and had a great meal. Appetizers were awesome, however 2 of 4 meals were sub par. Lobster tails WAY over cooked and snapper was over cooked, risotto crunchy. We won't be going back for all that money. Very disappointed

Dinner at The Chateau, Bolton Landing always delivers! It's our spot we go to every year we are up here. The food, the ambience, the servers, drinks, everything is always on point. I highly recommend eating here if you are in the area.

Chateau on the Lake is beautifully situated on the lake, has amazing servers, great service in general and fabulous drinks and food. We had an excellent meal-- we each ordered something different (pasta, steak, chicken, short ribs) and each meal was fabulous. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

This entire restaurant screams upscale opulence but also relaxed lake life. The menu is ever changing but has classic favorites like tartar's, steak, lobster, oysters and new things to me like duck fettuccini. They have docks and you can BYOB (bring your own boat)!!! Come and enjoy the lake and docks at the best place on Lake George. If I needed to stay somewhere on LG this is a much better place to stay than the Sagamore.
