Wonderful food and great service!
nice ambiance, great quality food. The homemade donuts are little pillows of dessert heaven!
Beautiful restaurant, amazing food and view! Our waitress was wonderful! Overall great experience.
Beautiful view and top notch food and service
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great!
Amazing place! Exquisite cuisine, excellent service, magic atmosphere!
Outstanding experience! The Chateau lives up to its accolades as one of America's most romantic restaurants and the recent feature on Food Network.
What a fantastic experience! In escaping for the weekend it was a pleasure to go to The Chateau. Food was excellent as was the service. The setting was beautiful. We sat outside and it was done perfectly. The owner Buddy Foy was great to talk to and his recommendations for our first time there were spot on! Can't wait to go back.
Food was excellent especially the clams
The outdoor dining area was very nicely done
The service was terrible and the bartender should find a new line of work
A wondeful dining experience! The food & service were second to none!
Absolutely beautiful ambiance , wonderful food and service . Came back for the 3rd time and will definitely be back .
We arrived early and ordered cocktails. All the Adirondack chairs were filled with groups so we stood by the lake until our reservation was ready.
We were given a lovely table on the porch with did not have the amount of customer/waitstaff traffic.
We didn’t catch or was give the name of our waiter but he was good. Food was served at a very relaxed pace. Quality of the food was excellent. They had run out of our choice of dessert so we topped the meal off with a double espresso.
The one issue that always drives my husband nuts was the lack of attention to keeping the grounds picked up of litter and trash down by the lake.
Everyone was sweet and wonderful. Especially Olivia and Jackie!
Beautiful setting for brunch- cocktails were amazing!
We had an engagement celebration with 14 guest in the garden room. Everything from beginning to the end was amazing. Food and service was excellent. Always a personal touch
Magnificent food overlooking beautiful Lake George! Outstanding service as well. My third visit this summer!
It was a challenging night as they had kitchen equipment issues and tried under difficult circumstances. I would have only asked for better communication.
the food was good, not for the those prices. would i go back? maybe.
Dinner was excellent. We ate outside and it was nice under the tents. Our server was very nice and everyone seemed to be able to handle the social distance issues.
I had a great dinner a few years ago so when I was planning to visit Lake George again I immediately booked a reservation a week in advance. Things have definitely changed. Although the food was good I wouldn’t say it was spectacular. The tuna substituted for Swordfish was served as a huge hunk and although I had requested medium and said “I don’t eat Sushi Tuna” only the 1/2 “ perimeter was cooked medium. I brought the rest of the hunk home and hope to reheat it and use in another dish. The side of risotto was maybe 1/4 c serving. For the price of $280 for two (incl. tax and tip) I would’ve expected better. Even taking into account COVID inflation prices it was still overpriced. If prices are going to be $45 to $69 for an entree at least beef up the place with generous portions of the sides of vegetables &/or starch. The $14 beet salad was skimpy. Smaller than what we would get as a standard house salad that might be included with an entree in the past. Dessert was spectacular so I guess if we wanted cocktails and dessert it might be worth the trip.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – My sister Nancy & I went for her birthday, we had a wonderful time, looking foward to going back. Service was well-timed and friendly.
Nicole, Thanks for a great evening.
Exquisite! Loved the atmosphere. Seafood Tower was outstanding, a good value. The roasted beet/arugula salad was average, rather small for the price. Service was excellent. I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience last night!
Julia our waitress was outstanding!
We will definitely recommend to all our friends and family when visiting Bolton Landing!
A gem in Bolton Landing. The service and ambiance are to be enjoyed as part of the overall experience.
This was our first visit to the restaurant We had a fabulous time. Definitely will repeat. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was excellent. We ordered the seafood tower and carpaccio for appetizers and both were fantastic. Two of us had the prime rib special and one of us had the lamb chops and one had the mushroom ravioli. No one had any complaints. The meats were all cooked to perfection. Although we had no complaints I would say if you come here you need to realize you will pay top dollar. For the 4 of us with a bottle of wine our bill was $700.00. So it isn’t a place to go for a $100 meal Although we may not go all the time it is a so nice to finally find a place with NYC restaurant quality food and service. Just remember the price reflects that.
The food was delicious and the service was incredible. Not a picky eater, but there were not many options on the menu. I had the halibut and my fiance had the red snapper and both were excellent. I feel it was overpriced for what it was.
We had a delicious brunch on Saturday outside. Despite the light rain, we were at an umbrella table that kept us covered. There also was seating under a wedding-type larger tent. The service was excellent, the blood orange mimosas made with just the right amount of alcohol, the food was delicious, and the setting on the Lake was beautiful. Besides my wife and I enjoying it, our teenage sons loved the meal and ambience as well.
We went fir brunch and the food was as delicious, service prompt and courteous and the view was beautiful. All safety protocols were taken. We enjoyed our meal and had a great experience.
There was two of us, one was very satisfied with her meal it was a steak.
The other was not. Got the Halibut and it was cold and chewy.
Service was just average. The place used to be alot better before they became famous for Summer Rush.
My wife’s 50th birthday dinner. All around amazing dining experience!
Most amazing lakefront view.
Food is phenomenal.
Service is impeccable.
Can’t wait to go back again soon!
Beautiful place but extremely overpriced. Food...nothing special.
Jack made the food amazingly it was all perfectly cooked! Loved it so much!
Had a lovely meal right one the water. Service was outstanding as was the food! Can’t wait to return.
Great restaurant on the lake. Great atmosphere
We stayed for several nights at the Sagamore Resort, but our best dining experience was at the Chateau on the Lake. The food was outstanding, particularly the chef’s cut strip steak. The service was warm and welcoming. We were unsure of the ambience when we first looked at the tables on the lawn depicted online, but that was the best part. It was the day before our anniversary, but this is the moment we will remember.
We always Love the food there but we wound like to see some change to the menu. So similar year after year.
Dinner was perfect for my daughter’s 13th birthday. We’ll def be back!!!
Overpriced. Parking terrible. Service poor. Never got our ordered salad. Food mediocre. Very disappointed. Do not recommend.
