Event was not as described. Open table offered a Gatsby Experience described as “About this experience: Join us in the Champagne Bar for an evening filled with opulence and history to celebrate the 100th birthday of The Great Gatsby. Champagne towers, a special performance by the Serafina's and other surprises will ensure a special evening.” none of this was going on and when i asked the hostess she said it’s not an all night thing just a quick champagne toast at 5pm

It was bad. The event’s signature cocktails were undrinkable, the service was totally absent and getting a $400 bill for cocktails was insulting. Don’t do this, the ambiance of the Plaza is not enough to make this Rose St. Patrick’s day pub experience worthwhile.

Arrived with a reservation and was immediately seated, unfortunately after 20 mins we still hadn’t been offered a drink or a menu. Hard to comprehend that this is a 5 star hotel.

The value of the offering did not match the price. The seafood was high quality but should have been replenished after the first serving. Also, I requested an alternative to caviar due to an allergy which was initially overlooked but later resolved. It was a 3.5 star experience for a 5 star price.

Appalling. From almost an hour wait after the reservation time, incompetent service, old and mushy tomatoes in what was supposed to be the hearts of palm salad with 3 tiny dry and tasteless slivers of hearts of palm, to the side of avocado in the lox dish that turned dark and bitter so I had to literally spit it out. Everybody else’s food was merely edible - in if you closed your eyes and tried not to think about it kind of way. The manager on the other hand was lovely - and did her best to make all of this better, she seemed to genuinely understand and care that the whole experience was a disaster - however this was beyond help.
