Excellent service and great food.
Had dinner with my family and was awesome!
We will be back need to try the chocolate fondue!
Charming and cosy spot for an alpine dinner. Welcoming to kids bit equally lovely for couple or a group of friends. Opted for the fondue experience plus a few sides & cocktails. Really fun
Excellent service, ambiance and food. Thanks Gillian and team for taking care of us on this special occasion. The fondue was stunning albeit very pricey.
Fantastic experience spot but the food and wine are both wildly overpriced. Worth going once, but not a repeat trip spot.
Fabulous food and experience - highly recommend but make sure your hungry.
Excellent service, Great food! Very enjoyable experience !
It was our first time here And we were very happy with the whole experience! Loved the fondues from appetizer to dessert. An enjoyable experience. Our waitress was amazing! We will definitely return!
Love the place, ambience and off course the great service
Everything was amazing! We highly recommend the fondue experience.
Amazing Christmas Eve & Birthday Dinner! Amazing Food! Amazing Experience! Loved It! Fantastic Service from Bo & The rest of the staff with All The Necessary Covid Touches in Place 😃👍
Highly Recommend and ready to go back again! 🤩😃👍🎄🎁
Authentic ambience and fondue ski lodge environment
Had an amazing time. We were greeted so warmly by everyone on shift. Our menu was explained well to us as well as the drink choices and knowledge on food and beverage. Cannot wait for our next trip to the chalet!
Such an amazing night. The fondues are incredible, the service perfect. Even our picky teens loved it. Our best meal in Whistler!
It was amazing as always !! Have been here in Feb. and just had dinner on opening day on Wednesday !!
Best food in Whistler - hands down !
Our server was excellent!
This was a date night with my wife. The arrival at the clubhouse was spectacular, with candles set up on the front porch. However, it was not immediately apparent to me where the entrance was when coming from the parking area. It turned out it was around the other side of the building. A single (lit) sign saying “entrance at rear” would have been helpful; perhaps then I would have noticed the arrows.
We were seated next to a window overlooking the blazing outdoor fireplace. The ambiance of the room was open and inviting, and the noise level was perfect. Our server knew the menu very well, and we each ordered salads. When they arrived, it was a portent of what was to come: the portions were HUGE! My wife enjoyed her garden salad, snd my salmon and potato salad was very unusual and substantial. We should have split one salad, however; when our main courses arrived, it became even more clear that we should have split: my wife’s Rosti with beef stroganoff was smothered in a near Jäger sauce, and was a very generous portion. My Weiner Schnitzel completely covered the plate, and was on top of a bed of Rotkohl, spaetzle and broccolini. Both meals were sublime; there was no doubt we would be eating only a small portion and bringing the remainder home for another meal. Dessert was an apfel strudel in crème Anglaise, accompanied by a small mountain of dense whipped cream. Overall, a delightful meal.
Took almost an hour to get our food. It’s been better early or late season.
Meh. Neither the food or the atmosphere was anything special. The crackling log fire was really the only thing that leans into the theme of a chalet, not even a stack of wood by the hearth to give the feeling that they were ready to toss another log on to stoke the fire. The servers had a slightly slightly Scandinavian attire, that was more halloween costume than actual attire.
The fondue was good but not great.
The only saving grace was the service. They were all very friendly, provided seamless service and knew what cocktails would pair well with the food.
Lovely atmosphere with a fireplace. I recommend the cheese fondue over the chinois, as boiling meat does not promote great flavour.
Fondue at the Chalet is always a special treat! We love returning and introducing our friends and family to a fun and memorable experience.
I have never not tipped waitstaff but service was ridiculous
Perfect for a special occasion or treat after a fun day on the slopes. Didn't have the fondue but the schnitzel and bratwurst were both superb and very generous in portions. The kids macroni and cheese was incredible - not your typical kiddie Mac and cheese. Lovely spot will come again.
Our server made some great recommendations and we had the cheese fondue. The kids had their own menu which they liked. At the end the kids had the chocolate fondue which was also a hit. Great way to spend a birthday with the family - thanks!!!!!
The dinner and the atmosphere were amazing... We will be back for sure !!
Rosti with chicken was very salty but everything else was good
Outstanding service and fondue was amazing (cheese and chocolate)
Service was excellent - made us happy that we came and eager to come back. Fondue (both cheese and chocolate!) were very good too!
The service at the Chalet and Clubhouse was outstanding. My husband and I arrived over an hour before our reservation as we were planning to sit and have a drink before but realized when we arrived that the restaurant didn’t officially open for another 45 minutes. The manager and staff were very kind, invited us in, sat us at our table, chatted and we ordered drinks. Our server Jennifer was fantastic, very friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant was full and very busy and service was still excellent. The food was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the fondue experience. At the end of the evening the restaurant contacted our hotel shuttle and they no longer offered a private pick-up so the restaurant organized their shuttle to pick us up. I would highly recommend this dining experience!
Great service
The Chalet and Clubhouse at the Fairmont Golf Course is quite nice. We have eaten in what is the regular part of the restaurant in the summers, but in the winter they changed over the pro shop area to more restaurant seating. One would never know it was a pro shop in the summer months. The menu has several German type meals along with a choice of fondues. For this trip we opted for the cheese fondue which was accompanied with bread cubes, cubed apples and some vegetables. It was very tasty. The service was very good. We will plan to return sometime.
The food was very unimpressive; bland and stodgy.
The restaurant was very cold inside.
What an amazing place to experience and eat at. The food was phenomenal. By far the best service we experienced at a restaurant. Our server Beau was awesome. He was polite, attentive, patient and funny! He was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, wines and schnapps that are served after the meal for digestive. He deserves a raise. Thank you for making our last night of our trip memorable :)
Fondue was wonderful as always. The salmon though was a bit overcooked. Service started off a bit rushed - we were asked for our meal orders as soon as we sat down, before being asked about drinks. Things relaxed a bit once we asked for drinks and time to look at the menu.
Way overpriced fondue meal. Paid for it but where was the rest of the meat? The amount given for 2 was less than the size of the single Wiener schnitzel served. Our guests filled up on lots of bread (for the cheese) that we had refilled three times. Also disappointed that there were empty tables of 4 near and in front of the fireplace the entire time and our table of 8 was the furthest away. Table Nineteen is SO much better and we look forward to their completed renovations and reopening. Cheese fondue tasted great but all in all not worth the price paid.
El fondiu delicioso
Great meal in a really nice setting for a winter evening. The food is really good and the portions are huge. Next time we will bring a larger crowd and order family style, sharing the fondue with garlic and herbs and a few entrees like the pork knuckle. .
Overall, it was very good. The service was fantastic and the food was good.
We were excited to have some German style food outside of Germany. The schnitzel was excellent and so was the pork knuckles. The chicken and mushroom stroganoff was tasty but on the salty side. The chocolate fondue was delicious.
Vacation. Dinner with my daughter.
The four of us really enjoyed the meal, ambiance, service and recommand this restaurant when visiting Whistler. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Since it was our daughter's birthday, they served a delicious chocolate cake with the hand written happy birthday on the plate and added a little " poire William" to complete the surprise. A great evening to remember. Thank you again!
Everything from the food to the service from when we stepped in was excellent!
