Really enjoyed our experience here. We came here for a date night.
We ordered the shared cheese plate and dessert sampler as appetizers. The cheese plate was a typical cheese plate, good but not amazing. The dessert sampler was SO GOOD! All 3 desserts were amazing! For dinner I got shrimp and grits, the sauce was amazing! My husband got the kabobs. The kabobs were burnt but he ate it anyway. He said it's typically hard to get meat and veggie kabobs right so he wasn't upset. He did mention it to the waiter who immediately offered us a free dessert, our choice of apple crisps or cheesecake. He suggested the cheesecake since we had already had dessert and would be taking it home. It would keep better and didn't need to be warmed. So we picked the cheesecake and it was delicious!
The service was great. Our waiter was attentive as were other members of the staff who brought food or stopped by just to take plates and check on us.

Meat appetizer was great. Lamb entrée was good. Lamb risotto was missing risotto, mostly lamb meat. Trout entrée was terrible. It was over salted and almost inedible. They were out of most of their beer selection. We tried three before they actually had one we wanted. This continued as we tried to order more. Took over an hour to get our food from the time we sat down. This could be partially due to the fact it took about 20 minutes before we both actually had drinks we wanted between all the back and forth of what they had in stock. It became humorous by the end of the meal when our server offered us a molten chocolate... oh wait, they were out of that too. Between the drink fiasco, bad entrée, $97 bill, a broken booth seat, the extremely loud large party next to us, and the very unpleasant hour and a half we were there, we won't be back, ever. Overrated, overpriced and underwhelming.

Ok. The food for Valentine’s Day dinner was not to the level I expected for a $75 pp dinner. Service was great- and always has been. But the food was..., I am sorry to say, unremarkable. I’m wishing I had reserved for The Knife and Stone. time .

My wife and I were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary with our two children. I told my wife that it was the most enjoyable time I’ve had in a long time. The food was excellent and my son said it was the best steak he had ever eaten. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. We will most definitely eat there again.

Ambiance and food were both excellent, our server was not the greatest and appeared to be disengaged from our supper.
Despite waiting a long time for our food, which wasn’t a huge deal for this meal, the experience and evening were both perfect.
