Great food again! Our third time eating at The Cellar. We will be back again!
It was a great experience and the food was great! The drinks were overpriced, even for simple pours. Other than that great food and music
We have been hear before and really enjoyed it. This visit was lacking. We brought our friends and it was a mediocre experience, they appeared short on staff and dinner took almost an hour to arrive. My friend asked where the food was several times and it made me regret our choice of restaurants. May return alone. * egg on my face*
Food was generally ok although the lamb dish was way too salty. No one checked the taste or it would have been noted. Pork chop cooked well but nothing out of the ordinary. Conch fritters were bland and certainly not worth the price. House wine overpriced for very ordinary wine. Meh. $80 for simple dinner at simple place. Chain place would have been almost as good for a lot less.
The only complaint on this evening was the wait time for our 2 person meal took about an hour after our appetizers. We had medium kabobs and salmon. Once it came to the table it tasted great!
Awesome experience had a great time! Love listening to The Band 2 Broke Kings! The beer choices were very very good. I will recommend to my friends and I'll be back.
Food was wonderful and highlight was Dean’s special banana cake for dessert!
Meat appetizer was great. Lamb entrée was good. Lamb risotto was missing risotto, mostly lamb meat. Trout entrée was terrible. It was over salted and almost inedible. They were out of most of their beer selection. We tried three before they actually had one we wanted. This continued as we tried to order more. Took over an hour to get our food from the time we sat down. This could be partially due to the fact it took about 20 minutes before we both actually had drinks we wanted between all the back and forth of what they had in stock. It became humorous by the end of the meal when our server offered us a molten chocolate... oh wait, they were out of that too. Between the drink fiasco, bad entrée, $97 bill, a broken booth seat, the extremely loud large party next to us, and the very unpleasant hour and a half we were there, we won't be back, ever. Overrated, overpriced and underwhelming.
Really enjoyed our experience here. We came here for a date night.
We ordered the shared cheese plate and dessert sampler as appetizers. The cheese plate was a typical cheese plate, good but not amazing. The dessert sampler was SO GOOD! All 3 desserts were amazing! For dinner I got shrimp and grits, the sauce was amazing! My husband got the kabobs. The kabobs were burnt but he ate it anyway. He said it's typically hard to get meat and veggie kabobs right so he wasn't upset. He did mention it to the waiter who immediately offered us a free dessert, our choice of apple crisps or cheesecake. He suggested the cheesecake since we had already had dessert and would be taking it home. It would keep better and didn't need to be warmed. So we picked the cheesecake and it was delicious!
The service was great. Our waiter was attentive as were other members of the staff who brought food or stopped by just to take plates and check on us.
Great staff great food. Good atmosphere and location.
Ok. The food for Valentine’s Day dinner was not to the level I expected for a $75 pp dinner. Service was great- and always has been. But the food was..., I am sorry to say, unremarkable. I’m wishing I had reserved for The Knife and Stone. .....next time .
We will be back . The meal was delicious . The service was very good.
The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious! We will be returning. A fabulous place for a special occasion dinner.
The Cellar took fabulous care of us for our Anniversary dinner. The food was stellar as always. Their chophouse chicken and steak are always a consistent, tasty meal.
My wife and I were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary with our two children. I told my wife that it was the most enjoyable time I’ve had in a long time. The food was excellent and my son said it was the best steak he had ever eaten. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. We will most definitely eat there again.
Amazing Food and Great Service. We will be returning very soon!
I felt some items were over priced such as the speciality cocktails and coffee with liquer.
Took an hour and a half to get our food. Food taste was average..not worth the amount of money paid for it! Waiter was not very personable.
Everything great, but very long wait for food.
We brought out of town guests and enjoyed the Duck special. Everything was very good, service was excellent! The best fine dining available in Newnan
Ambiance and food were both excellent, our server was not the greatest and appeared to be disengaged from our supper.
Despite waiting a long time for our food, which wasn’t a huge deal for this meal, the experience and evening were both perfect.
Love this place!! It is mine and my wife's go to place on date nights.
We were delighted with server's choice of pasta dish as salmon wasn't available .
We chose this restaurant as Toni Byrd was singing this particular evening.
We celebrated our 43rd anniversary. We were not disappointed! Ambiance and food were excellent. Definitely on our list to go again and bring family and friends.
Great food and fair prices. Has a great atmosphere. It is a gem to have a place like this in Newnan.
Restaurant is beautiful. The food was very modern.
Goff was good, the scallops were outstanding as was the service
Great evening with family. Food and service was awesome. Pork chop was cooked to perfection and sweet potatoes we’re “kicking with flavor”. Our evening was perfect.....thanks to The Cellar!
The Cellar is our favorite place to eat in Coweta County. Food and service is always top notch. The only problem I have ever experienced is that there always seems to be a table where someone has had too much to drink and gets extremely loud. It makes it hard to talk at the other tables. However, the food is so good, it doesn't stop us from going there.
Great onion rings! Mediocre steak.... horrible service. There are better options for a celebratory dinner.
Food was very good, tomato basil bisque was outstanding.. will recommend to friends
The Cellar is our favorite spot in Newnan hands down. Great food, atmosphere and service. Always consistent. Love this place!!
Most of my experiences at this place have been ok. On this particular night, the bar service was extremely slow, and restaurant wasn't even at half capacity. The best way I could describe this place is Big town prices with small town food and service. It will probably be a while before I go back.
Perfect location for a date night! Menu is diverse enough to please any taste.
I have eaten here several times for dinner and really enjoyed it. We took the family their for a pre-Christmas lunch and I was not impressed. We walked in with reservations and the hostess pointed at our table across the room and said that's your table. The menu selection was very limited. Mostly sandwiches. Service was extremely slow and we were only one of 3 tables. We ordered Martinis and when they finally came they were horrible. When the food finally came it was cold. It was a very big let down for such a pricey lunch. Not sure what has happened there, it used to be great.
Great food, wonderful service.
The food was beyond my expectations, very good presentation and taste. The server was a great help in choosing from the menu. I knew to bring my credit card but it was worth it.
Our dining experience was terrible this time. Although we have been to The Cellar several times before we have never had this poor level of service before. Our reservation was at 8:00 pm and our food wasn't served until 9:45 pm and the restaurant wasn't that busy. We were told that they were out of potatoes, ALL kinds and that there wasn't any substitute!! How does a restaurant run out of potatoes on a Saturday evening???? My wife ordered a 6oz filet mignon that was SO small it was about 2" in diameter and the asparagus was served cold and hard...she left the restaurant hungry which is a shame considering our bill was $180.00! We told our server that the filet seemed way too small for the size we ordered and the price we paid but he didn't seem concerned. We don't plan on going back.
We have always had good experiences at this restaurant, but that night the service was bad and the food not up to par. The bar tender was trying to tend bar and wait tables and he was too busy.
