   I have dined at the Cellar several times and my experience has always been very good. Our May 10 dinner, however, was disappointing. The menu choices were limited. The restaurant was out of two of the choices on the menu, and we had reservations for 7 PM. You would not expect the restaurant to be out of menu selections so early in the evening. The service was good and the prices were reasonable.

   The menu is limited and especially when two dishes were sold out/unavailable at the start of the evening. Entree potatoes were undercooked. Desserts good quality but somewhat overpriced. A disappointing experience!

   The perfect place! It's difficult to find nice places with good vegan options. Not only did The Cellar have many vegan options, they were also clearly listed on the menu (that's harder than you think to find!) and detailed what the ingredients were and where they came from. The server (I wish we remembered his name to we could give him credit!) was awesome. He knew the menu and when we had questions he never had to use the line "let me check on that." Highly recommend and will definitely return!

   Everything about The Cellar is wonderful! The food, the waitstaff, all excellent. Except the ambiance. Well, actually the ambiance is quite exceptional too - and well appointed. The industrial, pleasant, dark atmosphere is very appealing - along with the local artist's paintings hanging around the room. The major drawback is the sound. There are no sound-absorbing materials in this large room - where the exposed heating ducts and other physical structural items reside. Hence it becomes extremely loud with everyone's voices reverberating against these hard surfaces - making a pleasant evening very unpleasant. In fact it sometimes is difficult to even talk with your friends who are eating with you. All of which requires everyone in the restaurant to increase their volume in order to be heard! Which, of course, only makes the situation worse. That is the only drawback in this otherwise excellent restaurant.

    The Cellar has become our go-to spot for special occasions, house guests (especially the vegans), and just anytime we begin to miss really innovative, healthy, and tasty cuisine, served up by some of the most engaging and accommodating staff you can find.
