Beautiful environment in the heart of the gaffer district. Food was superbly created, wonderful flavours, interesting variety on the menu. Service was stellar! With so many wines per glass on the menu it was easy to try a variety of wines to pair with the food. Excellent experience!

Friendly server. Decent wine list, though we asked where to buy the NZ Sauvignon Blanc we had (Ponga) locally, and were directed to a store that doesn't carry it. Food was delicious (Jackfruit Vindaloo Curry and Scallops). Really appreciated the availability of half portions. Definitely would go back again.

The food was amazing, a great place to bring clients from out of town. The pacing of the meal was wonderful and helped the conversation flow well between course. I was so happy how easy it was to get a reservation on OpenTable. I will say the one drawback was the noise was a little high and it was hard to hear other members of my party at times, though we were at a long table. Overall a great experience.

I find The Cellar to have the most interesting menu selection and finest presentation in Corning. The mood is upbeat and energetic, though a little noisy to be very intimate. Maybe it’s time for fresh artwork?

Our waiter, Meara, was fantastic. She has served us on several visits and always show a high level of professionalism. The food is excellent (we usually get tapas and flatbread). They have an extensive wine list and an interesting variety of cocktails.

My wife and I come here every year for our Anniversary. I made reservations ahead of time and we were seated in a group of tables very close to each other. The party at the next table (only a couple feet away) was very loud and rude. It made it hard to enjoy ourselves. I ordered the half Kobi steak but was given a full one and charged for a full portion! Our waitress then gave us the wrong bill. I asked for the correct one which was $100 more than the wrong bill I first received. I should've just paid the lower bill and left. The food was good as always but I don't think we will return. The atmosphere was very poor because we were seated very close to the rude party. We don't go out to eat often, we have demanding carrers and two young children. I think we will find a new resturant for our Anniversary dinner.

The menu was delightful, I am gluten and try to eat lots of healthy protein and vegetables.
The service was terrific and the food was awesome. We had cauliflower bites, olives and pouteen as appetizers, it was the best pouteen I have ever had and it was also meat free! Delicious! I had Ahi tuna for dinner which was perfectly prepared. I would highly recommend this place. Terrific drink menu as well with a large wine selection

I loved everything about the restaurant except the noise which was so high that we couldn't have a decent conversation. I looked for a quiet corner and it doesn't exist, so I doubt we'll be back unless we come at 4:00 (which is way too early to dine.) Too bad a;; the surfaces are highly reflective of sound. Painful!

We have bee going here for years but the food at this visit was not up to their usual standard. The calamari was chewy and the gnocchi was dry and tasteless. The cauliflower wings were delicious as was the noodle dish.

For us, The Cellar is a "special occasion" restaurant because it's at a higher price point that where we normally dine. This visit was our anniversary dinner. It never disappoints. The creativity of their ever-changing menu, their ipad-based wine list, and their use of locally sourced ingredients make this a very unique experience for both locals and tourists alike. It is a treat for sure! FYI-their poutine has ruined me for that dish anywhere else!!

The drinks were very good. The food was ok, but could have been much better.
Started with a large cheese and a large meat platter. Cheeses and meats were very good. We also tried the scallops, which were over cooked but good. This plate came with a confusing beet and spaetzle side that was rubbery and lacking taste. Cutting the beets into cubes, throwing in a yellow with the red and not cooking it with the spaetzle, but still plating them together would probably have tasted so much better. The oxtail tacos were fair. Lose the oxtail, go with short rib and serve less of the house made (very spicy) sauce on top and it would have been perfect.
I would try this restaurant again.
