This was the best service by far. The waitress was the best part and that is hard to beat. Food was amazing as always.

My husband and I ate here for the first time for our 21st Wedding Anniversary. The place is historic, but the ambiance, delicious food and outstanding service made it a very special night for us. Thanks B! We look forward to returning.

My husband and I had a 6:30 pm dinner reservation on Saturday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was empty....not one other customer was there. It’s a lovely place and our server William was very nice. Fried Green tomatoes were fine and my husband liked the Red fish entree okay. My ribeye was a bit over cooked but tasty. The Yukon mashed potatoes were so salty I couldn’t eat them. Overall this was a mediocre experience and we were traveling so hoping for a much better evening out. By the time we left there were 2 other tables (total of 6 people) having dinner ..... really? on a Saturday night?..

Excellent for lunch but menu limited unless you get the buffet. Food is excellent. Dinner menu is expensive. Beautiful location. Free tour of adjacent mansion if you eat there, a worthwhile visit of an antebellum mansion.

In the past this food has been excellent but this time temperature was off on each item. There were four of us and we each ordered different items. To start the soup was tasty but barely warm and each course after that was the same. We were disappointed but will give it another try as it has been so good on the past. Every place can have an off night and perhaps this was the problem

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quant and I love the historical ambiance. The food is by far the best in town. I often visit the Sunday buffet. This is a good way to sample a little bit of everything. From veggies, to pastas, seafood, or a delicious breakfast. I will continue to visit and bring friends with me.

Had to wait 15 minutes past reservation. 4 elderly ladies that dine here every Sunday were turned away because they were told they didn't get their reservation. Buffet was constantly out of food. Had to beg to get ticket so we could leave

Very romantic atmosphere for celebrating our 27th anniversary. Very classy, old world surroundings. The food was wonderful and it is pricey but you are after all paying for the total experience.

Incredible. The food is simply divine. They have a wide variety of cocktails and beer with many local draft choices too. The service was great and the pub downstairs is perfect for a night cap. On top of all the great, food, drinks, and atmosphere, you get a free tour of the antebellum home Dunleith with your receipt. And it's amazing too. Plus they have a hotel in the house! This place has it all!

Beautiful Restaurant in Historic Natchez, MS. Great wine list, food is superb. Had the duck it was wonderful and a Silver Oak Cabernet. Prices are very reasonable. Service is very good and timely. Would highly recommend the Creme Brûlée and coffee.

This was not our favorite experience. We found the place to be lovely, but not our kind of place. For one thing, the menu guarantees you will spend a lot of money to get a full meal. The salad and side dishes are not a part of the entree, and must be ordered--and paid for--separately. I ordered the crispy quail/waffles, not realizing that "crispy" meant "deep fried." The crust was too heavy and you could hardly taste the quail at all. The waffle was very good, but this was a celebration of my anniversary, so waffles are not my first thought for that.
We were offered a complimentary dessert and chose the creme brulee. Unfortunately, someone was a little to liberal with the blowtorch, and our creme was a little too bruleed.
I'm sorry, but we will not be back: there are too many other lovely restaurants in Natchez.

If you like to have gnats in your wine, butter etc, you would have loved it. My wife's pork chop was very tough to cut, or fried green tomatoes 🍅 were too hot and that was all you tasted. Spent $103 for not a good meal

Simply put it's the best. White linen table cloth. Service is impeccable. The atmosphere is old English style.

You'll really like the buffet (right up there with the very best fried chicken I've ever eaten).

If you come to Natchez, or for that matter anywhere close, try the Castle Restaurant, I guarantee your gonna' be glad you did.

Wonderful steak but the lobster mac and cheese was flavorless, I don't think there was actually any lobster. Great wine selection. Our server was very nice young man, but our wine was not brought to the table until we were half way thru our salad. Management needs to train servers better and when someone buys $150 bottle of wine it should be on the table and open before food arrives!

While the menu is somewhat limited, the selections are balanced and feature locally-sourced ingredients when possible. Truly outstanding gumbo and tomato/basil soup to start. The redfish was well-crafted, perfectly-cooked. On a whim one of us tried the quail and waffles, but while the menu states "boneless" they're not. Having had quail before, should've opted for something else, hardly anything there. Great ambience, the restaurant is in a very old carriage house.

Our family gathered in Natchez for Easter this year and I booked a table for six at 10:00 am assuming we would be there for brunch. Upon arrival, We were informed rather curtly that only breakfast was being served at that time. We decided to be seated anyway and after making our selections from the buffet returned to our table and watched as the food was being picked up and returned to the kitchen! We were finally offered beverages but had to ask someone for butter and jelly. It seemed that attendants were more interested in preparing for Brunch. I should have read there hours of operation for each type of service before accepting this 10:00 seating. Breakfast stops at 10 and Brunch starts at 11:00. Breakfast offerings were very good but our special family Easter meal was not as enjoyable as we anticipated. We will consider dining there again but hope that it goes better the next time.
