Hadn't been in a while, won't wait so long next time. Food here is very good, rack of lamb was perfectly med rare and yummy. Wine list just so so but we had a decent St. Emilion. Love the potato gratin

We have always enjoyed the dining & food at the Carversville Inn. The chefs take care to deliver a great meal. Our son and wife are gourmet diners, and did like the restaurant. Good Job!

We love this place and the personnel are great. I highly recommend it. The pekin duck is particularly good, as is the steak, soups, and fish dishes. Well worth the drive and the village is quaint S well.

The food was excellent but the staff seemed a little confused. Service was rather slow. Food came out quickly once order was placed. Maybe they were short staffed . I would go there again.

Haven’t been in a number of years. The menu looks good enough but the food was BAD. Tomato bisque was marinara sauce. The salmon was tasteless. Sent a dried out burnt stuffing Peking duck back only to be replaced with ice cold centered scallops. Will never go back.

We have been going to Carversville Inn for around 35 years. nI the past few years it has simply "fallen apart." I'm not sure they have even changed their main dinner menu in 5 years. I always loved getting the Peking Duck which "was" a signature dish there. However, the last two times I have gotten it, it was charred and dry both times. Never again ! No more Carversville Inn for us, as there are way too many good restaurants in Bucks Co. to choose from.

We just love this place. It's in a great setting of the old Stone house and the food is just absolutely amazing. We you're done you just want to plan your next time there. It's truly a local gem and my favorite place to relax and enjoy terrific cuisine in the coziest setting. Love it.

After ordering onion soup, I received a cream soup with crab. My husband and I ordered the
ceviche which turned out to be pickled fish, overwhelmingly vinegary. Fish in ceviche needs lime juice not vinegar. The octopus was tough and totally inedible. My husband's entree of salmon was dry and overcooked. The oil on my caesar salad was of a poor quality.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner for our anniversary. The appetizers were excellent followed by our tasty salads. We both had steaks and they were so tender. Compliments to the Chef!! The wait staff was very responsive too. We already recommended the Carversville Inn to a few friends!

This is a quaint but expensive spot for dinner. The historic building is cute, and the bar area is very nice - I'd go back for a drink. We each had an appetizer and an entree (short ribs for my husband, which we average, and Zarzuela for me which was full of seafood but a bit watery), and an inexpensive bottle of wine. The bill before tip was approximately $130 - which I think is a bit much.

Been there several times. This time the service was not good. Waited 40 minutes for my table, even though we had reservations. Service was slow and one out of four meals did not arriver for 10 minutes after the other three.

This is one of the most consistent restaurants in the area. The food has always been terrific. This is an old country inn in a lovely setting old floors, and old fireplaces. I think there are a lot of regular locals. It is fairly expensive but they do have good food.

Wow!
The service was great and unobtrusive. The food is outstanding. I've never had anything but delish food there. The ambience reflects Bucks county to a "T". If it wasn't so hard to get last minute reservations I would be there more often.

We arrived for our reservation, and the hostess seemed annoyed. She started to take us into a dark dining room and we asked if we could eat outside as it was a beautiful evening. She seemed more annoyed but took us to the porch.
Our server was incredibly slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy. It may have been 30-40 minutes before we ordered our food. We had to ask about the specials and he didn't seem to know them. To every single thing we ordered, he responded "excellent choice!", which was a little annoying.
Later, two local men sat down at the table next to us. One kept yelling at a dog across the street as it sniffed some trash, which was both weird and disturbing.
The food however, was incredible! Great, interesting menu and the items perfectly cooked. Later, the hostess came to see if we were ready for our check and we requested dessert and coffee. She seemed surprised, but had the server come and tell us about the desserts. It was worth it because the desserts were to die for!!!
If you like good food, take a chance. If you like good service, maybe not.
