Carolina is an upscale restaurant I The Westin. The shrimp and crab linguini was absolutely delicious! Shared the seared scallops for an appetizer which were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent & very personable.
Celebrating a late Valentine's Day and weekend away.
Excellent restaurant - great service and good food. Would come back here anytime .
Christmas dinner with the family
Wonderful experience twice in one week. The food is simply amazing, service is impeccable, management always comes by to ensure that everything is as expected. We will most definitely be back.
Total fail as email confirmation was well off of requested... by days
willing to try again with incentive
Everything was great except by food was not quite as hot as I like it.
Very Nice but no Ocean Views! Why don't you use that beautiful ocean front for tables when not in use for events?
A smart Westin - restaurant very quiet -servers good but not interactive
Food - Filet steak and accompaniments - very good.
Oysters & shrimp - not as expected - a poor choice.
Wine - big hotel expensive but quality good.
We shared delicious mussels and then I had a lobster
Burrata salad. Fabulous!!!!!
Our waiter and host Patrick were friendly and helpful.
It was a wonderful way to begin our vacation in Hilton Head!!
The Carolina Room at the Westin is the best kept dining secret on the island.
We didn't have a car and found it hard to get a Uber on the island. So our choices were limited to what the hotel had to offer. But this was a great choice. Service was great!!!! Nice seafood selection. We would eat here again when we come back to the hotel.
Awesome Southern hospitality staff in a contemporary, spacious views of the beach. High quality brunch & spectacular fresh choices for made to order omelettes. Bacon & sausages two thumbs up. Will be back often.
Food to table w/ seasonal variety.
Nice choices although somewhat limited.
Very nice servers.
Ate dinner during a conference.
Suggest you skip the breakfast buffet. Overpriced and cold food that should have been hot.
When I travel to Hilton Head I stay at the Westin and have breakfast here. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of fresh food. They even make omelettes for you while you wait. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly.
Staying at the Westin resort. Wanted an "easy button" option after day in the sun but wanted some finer options than View 32 which is great for a casual outdoor bar/restaurant experience overlooking the resort and ocean. Carolina room was a little empty because of the awesome weather which I assume pushes folks toward outdoor dining but we loved it. Server was very friendly. I had the swordfish, she had the shrimp and crab linguine. Swordfish was great. She said she enjoyed her pasta. Would recommend for more upscale experience on the island.
The People and stuff was the Best Every they made me and wife. Anniversary lunch the Best.
Absolute top marks for food. Located in one of Starwood's largest hotels - I stayed there many times before becoming a neighbor, I've eaten at this restaurant many times. I think it is often grossly over-looked by locals as an option and based upon how busy they are for dinner, hotel guests may just choose to leave the reservation to go out and eat. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and efficient.
I have several favourite dishes and always enjoy eating here. The Pork Chop and Duck Breast are often in the final three that I choose my dinner from.
If I were to make one suggestion, since I've been eating at this restaurant for years, it is to please rotate the menu more.
Beautiful restaurant, great service, and excellent food.
Although the service was a bit slow, the food was very good. I would personally recommend the crab appetizer and the herb roasted chicken.
I came here for my wife's birthday during the offseason. How I've never eaten here is a mystery, because after one dinner service, this has become my favorite restaurant. The food here is comparable to several Michelin starred restaurants I've eaten at. I ate all of my food, and sampled my wife's. Patrick was the host for the evening. He was knowledgeable and polite. James was our server and he was very good. The food was reasonably priced and the quality was beyond expectation. This is a must eat destination if you come to HHI. During the tourist season, reservations are recommended.
Person making the omlets in the morning does an amazing job. Service is some of the beat. Wait staff excellent in both experiences. Smoothies on breakfast buffet are fantastic. Surprised this restaurant really does not have a view of the ocean. You need to wait until. 5 pm to go to the bar to have drinks. If I owned the place I would have the restaurant in the bar are and the bar hidden in the back where the restaurant is. Poor design in my opinion.
One of Hilton Head's hidden gems with great food and great service.
For an in hotel restaurant, pretty good. Pricey, but that's to be expected in a high end hotel on the beach. If you can see the ocean, it's going to cost you more. Appetizers and sandwiches great. Entrees, not so much.
Great food, great service - highly recommend.
Great soups! Shrimp and grits were a bit on the creamy and heavy side but were very good. Service took a little longer than we'd expect but overall it was great.
Food exceeded expectations. Service was very good. Price was reasonable. Very enjoyable dinner. Leroy our server was excellent.
Excellent food. Delightful waiter. Worth it and would go back.
The food was delicious and portions plentiful!
What made our experience more enjoyable is the host Patrick. He was very personable and eager to accommodate and gave us a good overview of Hilton Head for us first timers!
The waiter also put a very nice plate of cheesecake chocolates and other sweets to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. He did an outstanding job!
The web site advertised brunch. Only breakfast was available. The food was good as was the service. But, $100 for breakfast for four is overpriced.
Took my mother and family there to celebrate my mothers birthday. A very nice brunch. I highly recommend.
This is a nice restaurant inside of the Westin. I would not choose it unless I was staying there or very close by, but it is very convenient when inside the resort. My wife enjoyed her dinner, and they had a Succotash vegetarian dish for me. The menu is limited, and could be expanded, but we both found items to order.
Very nice restaurant with very nice staff. Food was good but choices of seafood were numbered. Quiet and clean
Excellent breakfast buffet
Excellent wait staff and superb service
Scenic view at resort. Nice breakfast choices. Attentive service.
The food was fresh and fantastic, though it does come at resort prices since this is a resort! The service was exceptional with all staff members extremely friendly and attentative. The menu is somewhat limited though it does cover all bases. The seafood pasta was delicious though a little heavy, as was the She-crab soup. The ahi tuna sandwich was very fresh and tasty. Will come again due to the fine food and convenience.
I really could not find anything to praise here. The pricing is far too high for flavorless food. Salads started at $18 and the tomatoes were lacking taste. We had to send part of our dinner back because it was cold. I eat out all over the country and rarely pan a restaurant. This is one I would suggest you skip.
Food was tasty but the ambience was all wrong. Lower the lighting and make it less like a hotel cafeteria and u might have something. Otherwise I could have been in any hotel in any town. Not really the feel we were going for.
The Carolina Cafe has always been a must on each of our twice yearly visits to Hilton Head. They have never disappointed. The service has always been great and the She Crab soup is to die for.
This is the main Westin Resort Restaurant located in Hilton Head. It has a great vibe and noise level was low, which we liked. Food was awesome and service was superb. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.
