I took my friend there for his birthday. When I scheduled the reservation, I asked if they do anything special for birthdays, and they certainly do!!! We got to the table and there was confetti and a beautiful card there. Our waiter was phenomenal (thank you, Kayla!!!), and the food was outstanding!!! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants an amazing steak meal and awesome ambiance!!

Excellent food, service and ambiance. We were seated in a semi-round booth, which felt romantic. The restaurant was quiet, as we dined early in the evening, which enhanced the experience. Cocktails were very nice, especially the blackberry sidecar. Shrimp cocktail and oysters were very fresh. Steaks were top-notch and prepared as requested (NY strip and filet mignon). Grilled asparagus and wilted spinach were simple, nice side dishes. Chocolate espresso cake was very delicious. This wonderful meal was served by a seasoned, outstanding waiter (named Walter - we recommend him!) who was pleasantly available at appropriate times and never intrusive. Not an inexpensive meal, but truly worthy for a special occasion. We will be back.

Michael was our server for our Valentine’s Day dinner. He was perfect. Very knowledgeable about wine, gave us great suggestions off the menu, we enjoyed everything. Thank you!!

Great steaks! Friendly staff. And the waiter (Carlos Leon) was superb--friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. The only criticism I have was that the salad (field-greens, etc.) was only so so, mainly because the tomatoes didn't taste good.

Our server was extremely rude and unprofessional. The food was great; except i did not like the desert as much. When the server asked how is the desert, i told him it was just okay and clearly showed him I didn't like it however he said "It was just ok? I saw you attacking it!" I thought it was a joke but he said it so rudely and just left. Through out the dinner, i had to call other servers to help me. He was mostly rude and not paying attention to what we need. Even for refills I had to wait for other servers to notice or call them. Before leaving the restaurant i confronted our server about how poor his customer service had been the whole night and in response he told me in front of so many people that "i have been ignoring him the whole night". I mean what did he really mean? First of all, I did not ignore him I treated him just as anybody would treat a server i.e. with respect. Second, just for the sake of argument I did ignore him in any way a good customer service requires you to have just as good an attitude with an angry customer as you would have with a good customer. Third, I did not went to The Capitol Grille to make conversations with my server or to please him with my valueable time. I went there to have a beautiful date with my wife which he completely ruined. It was a surprise for my wife and now I regret I even took her there. The server humiliated me and my family in front of so many people. I was so disappointed that how such a nice place serving an outstanding food can ruin my date night just because the server failed to provide me what servers usually do i.e. a good experience and customer service.

Our baby was a little fussy but they were very accommodating. Our table location could have been better. It wasn’t the best placement with a baby.

Went with family for my wife's birthday. The service and food were excellent but the extra touch of celebrating her birthday with a decorated table and Happy Birthday dessert made the evening.
