   Great Mothers Day Dinner! Steaks were cooked to perfection, as per usual. If you happen to sit in the lounge area, do yourself a favor and ask to be seated in Angela’s section. She makes an already great dining experience absolutely fantastic!

   Cory was nice but he could have been better. Our food was not hot. Not really sure why the gentleman who brought out our good said the plates are hot because they weren't even close to hot. My cream spinach clearly sat wherever because it just wasn't hot. Food taste fine but definitely not on the level I expected. We could have gone to Ruth and Chris. Sometimes I guess trying something new isn't what it's all cracked up to be. Also, I know what medium is and my son's and my steak were medium well. When I clearly said medium. Never going back. Never recommending. And next time when someone makes a reservation you might want to make sure it's ok to sit them right under the air conditioning.

   The service at Capital Grille Tysons is far superior to any other restaurant I’ve been to!! Just amazing service. The food was excellent, so fresh and so delicious. But the service by Nacoa and Roberto were beyond outstanding! If I could give 10 stars for service I would!! We went for Mother’s Day brunch and though it was packed, we were seated fairly quick (we had reservations) and our food came out perfectly timed. The steaks are on another level but their seafood was top notch. I look forward to coming again soon! Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

   The Capital Grill is always a favorite of mine. The food is always excellent; the service is amazing and the atmosphere unbeatable. The prices have gone up considerably and it's pretty expensive, but it is always a wonderful experience.

    We haven’t been to the Grill since before the “dark times” so it was time to return. We have some favorite steak restaurants close to home but Tysons was only a 20 minute drive. I see they still the parking limitations but the valet service is quick and courteous (hey it’s only 5 bucks). We decided to return for our anniversary and it was so nice for the seating team to wish us happy anniversary upon confirming our reservations. Our table even had some nice decorations and a welcome card. Nice touch and thoughtful. The meal: I had the Dry aged NY strip and my spouse opted for a filet. Both came out exactly as ordered. Tender and juicy. I would have preferred a little more flavor (maybe a dash of salt?) but it so nice to try a dry aged maybe that’s the difference. Nonetheless perfectly prepared and a great dining experience. We paired our up a with a bottle of red and found a great bottle at a reasonable cost. Nice to see that. As well as prices in align with close by competitors. Delightful evening and we’ll return soon.

    Lunch with my eight year old granddaughter as we returned to Richmond. Another wonderful dining experience: delicious food and excellent service. When visiting other cities where The Capital Grille is available, the dining experience is always consistent. The Capital Grille is her favorite restaurant!

    I was recently at a Capital Grille in Charlotte and I have to say that the service was a hundred times better than we experienced in Tysons Corner. The food at Tysons was very good, however, we were at a loss for why the other tables (that’s plural-TABLES) around us were getting a full description of items on the menu and restaurant favorites, and we had to ask. And even after asking, we were told that there were no “specials” and were then given a rushed description of a few of the items. Even the person seating us seemed annoyed in having to seat us and was just generally unpleasant, and the Waiter did not know the different Pino Noir selections available—don’t expect him to be an expert but would expect some general knowledge. The food was good but poor service has an impact—especially at Capital Grille prices--so we’ll probably not return to this (Tyson’s) particular location.

    Service was great! The Chilean Sea Bass was outstanding - I appreciate the white wine butter sauce was served on the side. Also ordered lobster bisque - it was loaded with lobster but lacked flavor imo.

    Easter dinner. This Capital Grille always honors my request for a quiet table and I was especially grateful to enjoy Easter dinner with friends away from the noise. Our waiter, Mauricio, was exceptional, even by CG standards ! He appeared whenever we needed him and never rushed or intruded. He also decanted the bottle of wine we ordered. All was perfect !

    Very attentive service by a server name Crystal. The seafood platter appetizer for 2 was tasty but basic ( chilled small lobster tail & 2 claws, steamed shrimp, 6 medium oysters). My husband & I split the wedge; we ordered that way as normally wedge salads are quite large; but not this one. I will say that the blue cheese dressing was quite good. I had the sliced filet w/mushrooms & fig essence, ordered medium rare. The filet, frankly, was not particularly tender & tasted more like a strip steak; the outside was crusted. Not bad, but not great. My husband got a double order of steak tartare which he enjoyed. The side of sautéed spinach w/garlic was nicely prepared. I had the house drink, the Stoli Doli ( Stoli Vodka infused with pineapple) which was very tasty. As it was my birthday, the table was decorated w/sparkly confetti, I received a card, & we got mini chocolate cake & mini cheesecake w/a candle. Very nice & it both cakes tasted great. A pleasant meal all around but nothing amazing.

    Tried this place for the first time and personally this was the best restaurant I’ve been to, to date. Food, ambiance, service and pricing were all better then expected. This place will definitely be my go to for more dates and when I’m expecting friends or family.

    My mother, my daughter and I have a monthly mother/daughter day and we decided to spend it here, having dinner. We were also celebrating my moms birthday. The service was impeccable, but the food was underwhelming. My mother sent her lamb chops back and they didn’t have the bacon appetizer for my daughter. Her veal chop wasn’t medium well, the way she asked and my moms asparagus was just ok. Needless to say, we won’t be back.
