   As always, the food was excellent and the service outstanding. It may sound like a small thing but my glass of club soda was continually refilled/replenished throughout the meal without me having to ask. Because of its consistently excellent food and service the Tysons Capital Grille has become my "go to" restaurant for a business lunch in Tysons.

   We've eaten all over the world. We are older foodies. The food was great. I grew up at the beach and the shrimp cocktail was one of the best I've had in 20 years. The steak and poached lobster was terrific. The service was attentive and outstanding. The food came very quickly. I was surprised for a location in an office building to be so well done. Thanks!

   We've dined at this location dozens of times. It's rare to leave mildly disappointed but it does happen and did this time. The valet crew were prompt, polite and friendly. When we checked in, we were not asked if we wanted our big coats checked. This was the second time this has happened and I assumed they stopped offering it but when I asked on my way out, the hostess said they still have it. No clue why you're no longer asked. Our waiter was very friendly but seemed very distracted, rushed and on auto-pilot. If we so much as hesitated when he asked if we needed something or wanted to order, he'd immediately say "I'll be right back" and would dash away. What really frustrated us was when he told us the specials, he introduced a dish of lobster with a filet as a single meal. When we got our bill the lobster was obscenely priced and the filet was an additional charge! Yes, Capital Grille is pricey and food prices have gone up but, we've never had sticker shock before - it was not usual. And, if the filet was not part of the meal, I feel like the waiter should have presented it that way. It felt a little like we were hustled and that wasn't appreciated. That said, the food, as usual, tasted amazing and except for cold mushrooms on one dish, everything was cooked perfectly. This is one of the best places for a steak outside of DC - hands down.

    Excellent steak restaurant. We've been there multiple times for anniversaries and also for casual dining. Always impeccable food and service. Pricey, but that's high end steak houses. I prefer Capital Grille over Mortons, Ruth's Chris, and Del Frisco's.

    I was seated and later joined by my partner. We literally waited 45 minutes for our food. We watched tables around us that arrived after I was seated, be served without haste. I come often but this particular time things were “off” I would say. There was a large party I. The room but that would only account for some of the delay. Modestly disappointed is how I would characterize this visit.

    Waiter seemed uninterested in serving our table. I’m not sure if it was his personality or having a bad day. With that said, we spent $550 and deserved better service. Food is always EXCELLENT.

    We had an awesome time! Our server Coach did a phenomenal job. The salads were crisp, fresh and delicious. The steaks were so flavorful and the right temperature. The truffle fries were addictive. The asparagus were perfectly prepared. Coach helped find us a great wine option. Our thanks to Coach and the team working tonight for making it a very special evening with our dear friends.

    Phillip, Annie, & Marlon made our experience very special! The hosts brought a huge smile on me & my family’s faces. They were professional and attentive. The experience did not stop there. We had a lovely dinner where Nacoa was our server. She was amazing! She made you feel relaxed & not rushed. She made you feel like a guest of honor. I highly recommend if you want someone that is patient & fun as your server, you ask for Nacoa. She is super professional, a sweetheart, & great to talk to! And Jon greeted us with open arms when he stopped by our table. It made us feel like part of the family. Definitely look forward to dining again here soon!

    Food is always wonderful. Only complaints- were seated at a noisy table instead of a booth despite a reservation and an empty restaurant, and they’re overlooking the med rare pretty consistently. The shallot butter is to die for and the service is impeccable.

    This was a rather disappointing experience at the capital grille Tyson’s. We had 2 hours for the dinner before seeing a play. We were greeted very nicely, seated promptly and the drinks were spot on however that was the extent of the positives for this dinner. This was supposed to me a dinner for 2 to celebrate my spouses birthday. We were seated between two other tables that were so close to us that it was uncomfortable for all guests. We all were in each others conversations and could easily reach and grab food for each others plates. Not what we expect from this establishment and for a special occasion. Our waiter while friendly did not meet the capital grille standards. At one point he put his hand into my side of bread with butter and just kept on moving along without any acknowledgement. We ordered oysters and calamari for appetizers. Oysters were enjoyed by my spouse however the calamari was greasy and all clumped together into massive balls of a mess. Not appetizing at all. Next for entrees we both ordered salmon dishes. I asked for mine as a side to a Cesar salad. Side of salmon with a salad is $30, kind of ridiculous even for capital grille. Regardless, the salmon was covered in salt and the Cesar salad inedible. The lettuce chunks were the size I would serve to a goat not a human. Salad was not even properly mixed with parts having dressing and others none at all. And it was topped off with a pile of cheese half the size of the salad. My spouse also did not finish his meal and found the same issues with the salmon. Considering we were so limited on time, I did not elect to complain and have the dishes remade as we would miss the play. To top it off, the restaurant no longer validates parking. So overall, this was a meal we could’ve beat with a meal from the Olive Garden a stones throw away. We will not be returning to this location and will seek out another restaurant for pre play meals. Save yourself the $ and hassle and go somewhere else!

    Excellent filet mignon for Restaurant Week dinner - one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Mashed potato and creamed spinach sides were excellent as was the waiter-recommended Cabernet. Will be back soon!
