   Capital Grill - Tyson's My go-to place for fine dining, excellent service, and first-class meals in Northern Virginia. Holiday meals and special family or business dinners are handled with care and attention to detail. I've never been disappointed—the service staff shows extra care to ensure that the meal is prepared to perfection. The secondary service staff removes plates and utensils and tidies up promptly after each course.

   We normally LOVE The Capital Grille, and have had many great experiences here. So it made sense to pick it for Mother's Day brunch! Unfortunately, the experience was quite subpar this time. The restaurant had, seemingly, overbooked. We know this because the waiter, Jose, told us as soon as we sat that the kitchen was very backed up and was having a hard time keeping up with orders. His prophecy came true when it took nearly 1 hour between our 1st course of the prix fixe menu being served and our 2nd course being served. Of course, 1-hour, when dining with two young children also feel like about 10 hours. When the food finally did come, my wife's steak was well-done (the order was for medium). The manager graciously came by and offered all sorts of things...from a mocktail (since we don't drink) to free dessert, and noted that she would not be charged for the steak. He did say, however, that if they were going to re-do the steak, it would take too long (30-minutes). We accepted his offers and were pleased with his service. Then, out of the blue, the waiter came by with a new steak (which somehow only took 5 minutes to prepare, despite the hour+ for the initial entrees to come out and the 30+ mintues predicted by the manager). And with that, the manager disappeared, as did the offers of a free dessert and having the steak comped. Our take away is that perhaps The Capital Grille isn't well-equipped to handle such high volume days. We'll be back, but perhaps on a slower day and time.

   Waited 40 minutes for our meal. By the time it arrived we were no longer hungry and found ourselves highly disappointed.

   Possibly the best lobster we have ever eaten in 40 years. The steak was great as always, and the service was friendly and warm, but they outdid themselves on the food this time.

   Celebrated an anniversary there- table service was exceptional, as was the food. And being addressed by name from the manager to congratulate us was a step above.

   We had a wonderful experience dining last night for my son’s fourteenth birthday! Our server Lourdes was very attentive, and made the whole experience a fabulously special one for my son. We will definitely be returning!

   Jason C made my family feel as if Capital Gille Tyson's Corner was a family legacy location. It was a first time experience for my enduring family! I'd recommend to everyone regardless of culture or ethnicity!

   An inviting dining room, with excellent service, and top notch food. Valet parking is a breeze. I’d recommend Capital Grille for any occasion, business or pleasure.

    We throughly enjoyed the experience. This was our 45th wedding anniversary and the staff was wonderful. Mr August Marquardt was perfect in addressing our needs. When we return, we are going to request him as our waiter.
