My steak was not rare but still moving. Told the waitress she never addressed and was nice but seemed overwhelmed. Usually really great today was just ok

My Wife’s Birthday

My only issue was that the filet mignon i had ordered medium rare came out medium to well done. The staff was very apologetic and brought me a properly cooked filet within 10 minutes. As even the staff acknowledged, a steakhouse should be able to cook a filet mignon properly. Otherwise, the service was excellent and the food delicious. The staff might have asked if I wanted any side dish with the steak and I might have ordered a side dish just because a filet mignon looks so lonely on a plate with nothing else on it.

Very poor service took us 45 mins to get a drink after our waitress walked by our table several times. The food was excellent like always.

We have 2 excellent dinners there in the past 4 weeks. We had steaks and lamb chops, the servers were fantastic, and we will be going back soon.

Great value for rest. week. Prices on reg. menu very high. Lovely experience, and terrific service. Wines also very, very high in price. Lower price offerings would be appreciated.

The service was very poor. It took over a half hour to receive water and 45 minutes to receive drinks. All of the steaks were wrongly cooked. The entire dinner took four hours as we waited so long every step of the way. For the type of resultant capital grille is this was an unacceptable dining experience.

Our server Will was wonderful !! Attentive , made great suggestions and helped with two children who were tired during the meal !

Will our waiter was outstanding !!! It was my mother’s 93 birthday and they treated her like royalty . The manager of the restaurant was also very pleasant and kind during our celebration .

Their lunch plates for $22 is an amazing deal! You get a soup or salad to start, then a choice of 5 or 6 different entree options to choose from. You can't go out and find better food than here for that price! Absolutely love their menu!

We had a great dinner at Capital Grille, the food was awesome but the whole experience was completed by the service, Will was amazing and with his recommendations and impeccable service made the evening unforgettable.

Always a great experience at Capital! Staff is phenomenal, and food is outstanding!

Past 2 times the cooks on the steaks have been way off. Must have a new staff in the kitchen. When your medium steak is more rare than the medium rare, you have issues back there.

Came for Restaurant week so the value was pretty good for what you receive. A salad or soup, entree and dessert. The food is average, the service is great, the safety precautions could be a little better. It seemed a bit crowded. Overall an average meal once again.

I'm always thrilled after eating at the Stamford Capital Grille! I've been rushed in other locations, but never here. I always feel bad for the wait staff because I don't drink alcohol, therefore, their tip is not as high because the bill is lower, but they have never treated me differently here and I love them for it! I can't recommend them enough, they truly love to serve and make you happy!
