   It was later (8:15) at night and we had hiked all day and wanted to share a meal. The server seemed annoyed that only one meal was shared and we didn’t order alcohol. The meal was tasty. Our server didn’t check on us until about about halfway through our meal. I didn’t dare ask for ground pepper. The busser was attentive.

   I have eaten at many Capital Grilles over the years. I have had some great and not-so-great experiences (mostly great). I had the Crab Cakes, Filet, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Asparagus, Coconut Cream Pie and a few French 75’s. Yes, I was hungry! Everything was cooked perfectly and the pace of service was on point. Anna, my server, was a peach! I would definitely return to this location for another great meal!

   Wonderful salad with vinaigrette that complimented fresh vegetables. The chicken breast and polenta was delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. It was a nice experience to smooth over a day of travel.

   Our server was polite and attentive. The pear salad was a little on the sweet side, but otherwise the food was perfect. I did miss the valet service (temporary, I hope, due to construction?).

   Wow!! Another fantastic dinner at The Capital Grille. From our polite and friendly greeting by front of house staff, to our outstanding waiter who made sure we were happy and well cared for, to the absolutely perfectly cooked steaks, we loved it. The best cooked steak I have had out at a restaurant ever - and I have been to a lot of steakhouses over the years. Tender, perfect temp, very light bit of sear. I wish we lived here so we could eat here more often. Without a doubt we will return!!

    Delicious meal. Staff very attentive and kind. Loved the crab cakes, macaroni and cheese and steak. Could even watch the Kraken game but was quiet and didn't seem to bother anyone. Comfortable booths and great dinner.

    We special-ordered 4 Maine lobsters (a week in advance) for a celebration with friends. Josh Westcott, General Mgr, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Getting fresh live lobsters to the West Coast can be a challenge. But Capital Grille was more than up to it! Our waiters made a lovely ceremony of the meal. Throughout the meal, they were attentive but did not hover. This was an evening to remember. We will be back!

    We really enjoyed our service and the food at the Capital Grille. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable and kind too. Brought us a free little dessert sample when we told him our show was canceled last minute. Really made a potentially bad evening still very excellent. Highly recommend the chocolate cake.     I’ve been here a few times and am a frequent Cap Grille diner. This location always seems to be exceptionally noisy and chaotic. This visit there was just a lot of fuss about setting up a large table next to me and some other diners. Literally took 20 minutes to reset a large table for a big group. Seen this happen seamlessly at other restaurants. Total chaos as I and other diners watched the clanging, dragging, and over-directing of where to pull this chair and that table etc. Just poorly managed and disruptive to all.

    This is one of the best fine dining experiences in the city of Seattle. Every employee is top-notch and highly professional. The table hosts are extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food is simply amazing. I love how they pay attention to the small details, and the special touches they bring to the table. Simply wonderful!

    Very nice ambiance and service was top notch. Food was just ok-nothing special especially considering the prices. Steak had no flavor. We had never been there before and this will be only our visit. They did bring us a tasty complimentary dessert which was a nice touch.

    If there is one place in Downtown Seattle to discuss business over fine food and drinks, then the Capital Grille is that place. Wonderful service coupled with upscale drinks and foods...I'll be visiting this place again.

    Classy but not stuffy steakhouse, with plenty of other options besides steak. We've been here a few times and enjoyed the experience. Love the moody ambiance, the service is stellar (love that they pay attention to notes about attending a show). It's a bit pricey, but worth it, in my opinion.

    Visited twice in 5 days stayed in Seattle, because my wife love their Calamari so much, me too: Steak is fantastic. Don’t try Veal, not worth and difficult to cut. Lamp chop will fresh your mind and enjoy the new juicy taste at all.
