Another wonderful Thanksgiving experience at the Capital Grille. Lots of options as the normal dinner menu is available plus specials including a full turkey feast. The lobster and crab cake appetizer with basil lemon aioli was otherworldly fabulous.

I love it but it s getting too expensive for the average Joe. We took my 92 year old father-in-law there for his birthday, and for 3 of us the bill with 20% tip was $380.00. We all had steak and one app each. Cup of coffee $6.50? Cup of tea $6.00? No dessert.

Reservations at the Capital Grille were solidified, got the Uber to take us there, to the theatre afterwards, so, time was of the essence. Escorted to the table, my dinner companion who was walking with a cane, asking our table walker to wait a moment, she did. we were seated at the table nearest the kitchen, mind you dinner service was just starting and the conversations coming from the kitchen were just starting to filter in. was not loud, by any stretch, but I knew as the evening progressed it would get louder. Asking for a new table, the waitstaff did accommodate, we arrived at the wine room. my handicap is deafness in my left ear and to be able to hear my dinner companion and the wait staff is crucial. the room was much quieter, more comfortable. Introduced to Ian, our waiter. He discussed specials, entrees and if time provided, desserts. Decisions were made on appetizers (two wedge salads) main course (fillet mignon, sirloin steak) and sides (asparagus and the mashed potatoes) the salads were delicious and eaten with great vigor. the main courses came with hearty appetites and no disappointment or argument. Ian, on top of his game answered some questions about the restaurant and it's history. My steak knife was the only issue, after being told by Ian that the knives do not get sharpened I thought I was being a trifle petty, but it did take an effort to cut through my steak, the steak was quite delicious and like I said, maybe I was being a touch petty about the steak knife. Ian made the dinner experience well worth the time and I would love to visit again.

Very expensive nice upscale restaurant, which should have a dress code that they enforce. Men in hoodies with ball hats on backwards, women in pajama pants and halter tops, ripped jeans, I might as well went to Texas Roadhouse!

Celebrated two special occasions and the food and service was excellent. Our appetizers especially the lollipop lamb chops special were delicious. Our server Cory was very attentive. Of course the steaks and fish were also delicious and cooked to perfection.

Our server, Chris, was amazing. He was knowledgeable and attentive. He recommended the Kona style to my boyfriend and I for our steaks and they came out perfect. So much flavor. The drinks were great. Salads delicious as well. The only iffy was the calamari. The breading was a bit thick. Everything else was stellar. We will be back again soon.

Corey and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and positive. Though out our entire experience the service was outstanding! The food was more than amazing as well. We enjoyed complimentary lobster crab cakes and dessert for our anniversary! We had an amazing experience and will most definitely be back.

Amazing anniversary dinner! Our server Ken was an expert. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. We took his suggestions. Filet special, lobster bisque, Caesar, baked potato with great fixings, and a gratis chocolate cake! Expresso martini was perfect. Camille welcomed us as we entered and walked us out. This was my first visit to CG Providence and won’t be my last! It was outstanding in every way. Delicious food (best lobsters bisque I’ve ever had!), great atmosphere, cool decor, excellent service. Thoroughly recommend!
