Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     The ambience was ok. First table was right by the kitchen, then got moved further away and it was much better. I appreciated the decor and table setting as it was clean and in order but I’ll say it was not transformative or overly special in any way. The service was friendly, prompt and very good. It’s what I would expect for this level of restaurant. The calamari was very good, soft meat but a crisp coating. The mains and sides were just ok. Although my 10oz fillet was cooked perfectly, it was very bland. I had to ask for salt of all things. Then we had the AU gratin potatoes, pretty dry and not cheesy deliciousness one would expect. Sprouts were also bland and in need of seasonings. It just wasn’t a memorable experience and I’ll likely go back to my main spot if I’m in the mood to drop $300 + tip for a date night with the wife. 3 drinks, 1 app, 1 salad, 2 steaks, 2 sides, 1 dessert.

    We celebrated our anniversary with dinner tonight. The food was fantastic and our server Eric was very professional and fun! We have come here for years and will be back. I highly recommend the filet, seared Tuna and chilled seafood platter.

    Perfect evening from start to finish! Great cocktails and appetizers. Followed our server’s lead and had the bone in dry aged ribeye with porcini mushrooms..OH MY! The birthday girl had the Kona crusted New York and it was equally good. The lobster Mac and cheese is too good to describe…so not miss this! Dessert topped off a great night with a brûléed cheesecake and espresso lava cake! Wonderful night!
