Everyone in our party was impressed with the meal and location. Good drinks and meal.
Very loud. Difficult to hear each other and especially the waitress.
Two different times they tried to serve someone else’s food to our table. That just shouldn’t happen at The Capital Grill.
Steak tasted excellent as expected and was properly cooked, but was cold.
Enjoyed our dinner, but not what it used to be. COVID??
Noted Birthday celebration for wife.
No acknowledgment at Restaurant
Amber was Awesome! She is the best of the best!
I’ve dined here numerous times, if it was my first it would be my last.
Amazing food and service!!
We had a dual birthday dinner on 9/15.
Table 64, Tiffany and Cassie were servers.
Meal was fine. My one grandson (17 yrs old) said the ribeye was the best steak he has ever had...and he eats a lot of steaks.
My wife's tenderloin w/lobster was very good.
The seabass was excellent.
Sam's Mashed potatoes were to die for...as usual.
The one issue I had was my Porcini ribeye was over cooked. Asked for charred outside and medium center...was well done.
We brought a cake which was promptly served.
Also supplied our own wine for corking fee...all good.
The acoustics around our table was too loud...difficulty having a conversation.
Tiffany and Cassie were just excellent.
More than you wanted to know...biut that's it.
Also valet parking a real plus...
Our waiter was so nice had to tip him 20 dollars he did a great job for my birthday
Great place and always consistent. Good food and outstanding service!
Everyone from the hostess to the waitress was fantastic. They made out anniversary dinner very special. Would recommend this experience to everyone.
Drinks were made perfectly. My rare steak was so tender and had a true cool center. That isn't always the case when I order steak rare at other reputable steak houses.
It was for my wife's birthday. Another couple joined us. I had a salad and the 14oz New York strip steak. Ellen had a wedge salad and the Chicken Breast. Our friends, he had the same steak as I had. She had a surf n turf special with a side of spinach. Ellen had a birthday dessert, a price of powerless chocolate cake and a price of cheese cake with a fruit smear. I had a full price of the chocolate cake. Everyone enjoyed our meals. Great service and nice atmosphere. On of Pittsburgh’s truly great restaurants.
We had my wife’s birthday dinner on Sunday at the Capital Grill. The food was excellent. We all had a great experience!
It's the second time out of our last three visits we had to wait 20-30 minutes past our reservation time.
There are many fine-dining restaurants around Pittsburgh with better food without waiting for 20-30 after the reservation time!
Food was excellent. James did an outstanding job as always as our server. Great evening
Alfonzo our server was knowledgeable and so
Kind. We got a seafood tower for an app which was amazing! The food at capital grille is always wonderful, we go once or twice a year for a special date.. however this time the ambiance was a little rowdy. There was a woman smoking weed in the bathroom, there were teenagers screaming in the bathroom.. people with leggings and flip
Flops on, kids climbing on the statue outside. A large party of screaming drunk patrons next to us. Maybe we need to go during the week, but it wasn’t the fancy date night we so look forward to at Capital Grille.
Always great. Steaks were perfect, sides were awesome too
Everything was Great other than a group of girls celebrating a birthday right next to us. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and the loud laughs and yelling was not appreciated. I just wish they sat the loud group in another area away from couples trying to celebrate a more romantic occasion.
Old style steak house with booths. Superb steaks. Good service.
Always great. Love the service and the food!
Everything from the food to the service was awesome!!!
Service and food were very good. Ambiance has gone downhill, and the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation at the table. Clientele has also changed.
A classic consistent steakhouse with (in Pittsburgh) a wood paneled decor which reminds one of a private club.
Always come away under-whelmed. Should be a “wow” factor for the price but sadly no. Too many little issues to mention but really should be perfect and never is. Having a better steak at the Wooden Nickel tonight.
Great food and service!
Tom was a wonderful waiter. Meal was timed perfectly. It was our 45th wedding anniversary and they supplied a fantastic dessert.
Party of 9 coworkers to celebrate a retirement. Did not disappoint and a beautiful dessert was provided to the retiree after advising of the special occasion when reserving. Fast and very courteous service. Thanks much!
Always a great experience. Great food, excellent service and atmosphere.
Food was great. Loved the crab cakes. Salad was good too. But it was not dressed when served. S
Birthday, server Ryan was rude not talkative with us but friendly with other tables didnt explain anything of the menu really, and didnt bring birthday dessert!
We are here with our sons the night before dropping off our som as a college freshman. It was so memorable. Our service was impeccable. The food was amazing. It’s very expensive but worth it for a special occasion. We highly recommend!
Dinner for 6/ three couples. Wouldn’t split the bill 3 ways VERY ANNOYING and makes it inconvenient for ur to settle up with each other. Would come back as just a couple maybe but never as a group again.
Our waiter, Horacio and Bartallio we superb!! excellent place to eat!
Great lunch! My daughter and I enjoyed everything, from the service to the dishes. The “plates” for lunch are an unbeatable value! My salmon was cooked perfectly as were my daughter’s tenderloin sandwiches and truffle fries. She thoroughly enjoyed her French Onion soup as well. Highly recommend.
Worst Capital Grille I have visited. Restaurant was clean and nice, service was ok but the food was not up to their standards. Everything we ate lacked flavor. It was like they forgot all seasoning on our food…..
Slow service, bland food, long waits (even with reservations) & EXTREMELY LOUD …. very disappointing
They mixed up tables. Didn’t have any seafood or many items
Out of a lot things . Waiter seemed testy. I have been here many times but by far worst experience. My steak was good but everything else was lacking
