Anniversary

It is Covid-19 time and we had to wait a few minutes, which sucks when the bar is closed but get it, it is Saturday night and people need out by now. Manager comped us cocktails and an appetizer. Could not have been more apologetic. Cocktails excellent, oysters perfect with several sauces. Ordered the wedge salad and the Porcini rubbed ribeye. Best steak I’ve had in years. Perfectly cooked to my request medium-well, flavor balanced and delicious Bacon thick almost pork belly on the salad and the brussel sprouts which were again perfectly cooked! Desserts rich and perfectly balanced creme brûlée berries were all at perfect ripeness, in January. That is surprising since most of the berries I get this time of year are unripe blandness. Prices reasonable to actually cheap compared to some of the local restaurants. Food better. Highly recommend

Ordered the sirloin with lobster tail and a few sides for the table. Food was delicious and our server was beyond amazing. Very beautiful setting along with dim lights and low music added to a very romantic vibe. Would definitely recommend

There is no parking at the restaurant, so you must find on street parking a few blocks away. The website lists a business casual dress code, but there were several customers in jeans/hoodies.

We didn't order an appetizer, so I have no feedback. The lobster bisque is exceptional. The filet's we had were a nice cut however, they were a bit over-cooked for being ordered "medium rare". The chef did come visit with us at our table and thanked us for our patronage, given the pandemic-driven downturn in business.

We were seated at a semi-private table off of the main floor which, initially, was nice. After the third and fourth interruption by the waitstaff to get a bottle of wine from the wine refrigerator adjacent to us, we may as well been seated up front in the bar area.
The price point is a little higher than other venues in the Burgh, but linen table cloths and nice silverware cost money.

We had the most amazing meal. Our server Ryan was fantastic and super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. RJ the server assistant was also fantastic and kept our drinks filled all night. Nick the General Manager stopped by our table and ensured we were having an exemplary dinner experience. You can definitely tell that Nick runs an extremely efficient and guest centric operation from the minute you walk in until the moment you leave. By far the best dining experience that my guests and I have had as long as I can remember.
We will be back and will recommend Nick's Capital Grille to everyone we know in Pittsburgh!

Excellent food and atmosphere!

Fantastic service. Excellent meal. Drinks on point. Lobster Mac / Cheese and the Lobster Bisque are a must!

Capital Grille offers a delicious variety of foods and "plates" where you can pair and entree with a side of soup or salad. Their New England clam chowder with oyster crackers is delicious. Paired that with their grilled chicken breast and whipped potatoes and you have a yummy meal.

All meals come with rolls and flatbreads for your enjoyment. Service is exceptional and staff follow all CoVid guidelines in make this place a great place to dine in or take out.

Also noteworthy is their salmon salad. I do like the fact that you have other options besides steak if you want variety in your meal.

Our food was absolutely delicious and our waiter did an exceptional job taking care of us!

It is always an amazing expirence. Every one is excellent, but I always request to be seated with Horatio, he is such a courteous, knowledgeable, person and pleasant ro be around.

Our server Kenny was excellent. It was our anniversary so nice touch with the sprinkles on the table and Kenny acknowledging our special occasion.

One of our best experiences at Capital Grille. Our server, Horacio, was awesome. Every portion of our meal was to die for.

My wife and I went for our birthdays. Table had birthday confetti when we arrived. We’re seated right away. Excellent food and service, although rather pricey. Would limit us to a once a year dining experience. Parking challenging without valet (understandable due to Covid).

Great food and experience

Went to Capital Grill because my fav steakhouse was closed... My Steak and Salmon were awesome and flavorful but the sides left something to be desired. The Service Was AMAZING. I would recommend the restaurant but I would just get a loaded baked potato and green beans as the sides then you can't lose.

First we were told the wrong information as far as the bringing a bottle up the restaurant
The manger on that night was really rude.

Made a reservation for 7:45 had to wait for 25 minutes to be seated.
Felt very uncomfortable in The waiting area. no social distance over, over 20 people were were waiting in a small room!
The strake was overcooked and Burns from the outside.
It’s not the same place it was 2-3 years ago

Two years until we could use a gift card here due to busy schedules and very worth the wait. Proper cocktails. Blue Point oysters to die for. Steaks cooked to perfection. Get the truffle fries.
