This five-star establishment truly lives up to its reputation, delivering on every front from the elegant ambiance to the exquisite cuisine. Our server, Horacio, was an absolute standout and a significant contributor to our wonderful evening. He struck the perfect balance of attentiveness and discretion, always appearing precisely when needed without ever feeling intrusive. Horacio's knowledge of the menu, from the intricate preparation of each dish to the perfect wine pairings, was truly impressive. He offered insightful recommendations that elevated our meal, and his genuine enthusiasm for the food and wine was infectious. Beyond his professionalism, Horacio's warm and personable demeanor made us feel incredibly welcome and valued. And the food! Each course was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation.     Our dinner snd service were excellent. The only problem is that the city of Pittsburgh made Fifth Ave one way except for a red lane for buses only. This made accessing valet parking more difficult as we were unaware of the change. It is now across the street and only available after 6pm. Not knowing that, we had to circle the block several times until we saw the valet on the opposite side of the intersection with Wood Street. I suggest you have a notice about this on your website so customers are prepared. We were meeting people there or we might have canceled since we had difficulty finding the valet.

    We were able to get a reservation that same day thanks to the app. They had our table set with hearts and an anniversary card, we did not tell them it was our anniversary but knew it from OpenTable. Friendly service delicious food and our waiter “Will” was extremely nice. Highly recommend

    I always love the capital grille. The oysters are the best. And the bread. It appears the lobsters are getting smaller and smaller. Disappointing. Drinks great. Service excellent. The steaks are probably the best main to order. Thank you!!
