Capital Grill on Camelback never lets us down! It was a birthday celebration for our family and even though the restaurant was packed, the service never failed, the food was excellent, and a special thanks to Bryan Rojo who was the best of the wait staff!

I requested a quiet table or private room for 10 our party was accommodated in the wine room. Our waiter was fantastic, wine-savvy and personable. Everyone enjoyed their Capital Grill-Phoenix dining experience. I recommend requesting Bryan R to be your waiter, you will be pleased you did!

I was in on Friday the 16th and was overall disappointed in the meal. I am a chef and may be more critical than others. We ordered the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella as an app. It was nicely presented and flavor was wonderful. As entrees the gorgonzola porcini NY was good just kinda sloppy as there was a pool of sauce. The filet Oscar as a nightly special was good but instead of bernaise as explained by the server it was just straight hollandaise. Not a big deal. The side of asparagus was great but would recommend cutting a little more of the bottom off as it was still woody. The meshed potatoes had good flavor but really runny. Expected something a little more stiff. Our dessert was the coconut cream pie. It was beautifully plated. The base tart shell and filling had wonderful flavor. The whipped cream was lacking in flavor. Definitely needed sugar and vanilla as it tasted like just straight cream that had been whipped. Not desirable as a dessert. It took away from the coconut and wet couldn't eat it unless we scraped off the cream. Overall I would say food was ok but very disappointed for the price. Very hesitant on going back

I took my wife here for Valentines Day, a nice perk was complimentary chocolate strawberries for the two of us and a very nice red rose for my wife presented after our meal. The atmosphere was excellent, our waiter was exceptional and stayed on top of our meal. The "Sam's" mashed potatoes were exceptional and were the green beans. My FILET MIGNON was done to perfection and cut easily. My wife's FILET MIGNON was cooked properly but the meat was tough and stringy, a huge disappointment. For the price we paid I expected a better cut of meat. Other items on the menu might be very good but we will never know as we will not go back. There are other fine dining options in the Phoenix area and we plan to explore as many of the top 10 OpenTable restaurants in the next few months.

Christian Berry was our waiter and we can't say enough about him except he added so much to our dining experience with his honest assessment of our food and drink choices: spot on ! The entire dinner was delightful and perfectly prepared and served. Timeing was jusst right and attentiveness of the support staff perfect. We have eaten here a few times previously, but not regularly, however that will change because this place is hard to beat in all categories.

This is one of those places where you need to expect and be prepared to pay top dollar. It is also one of the rare cases where the money is well spent and you will enjoy a great meal and experience. This was our third dinner ever at a Capital Grille, and it was clearly our best. And by the way, the espresso flourless torte was fantastic!

We had a great time. The food was amazing - we had crabcakes for an appetizer; filet and swordfish for entrees and green beans, Brussel sprouts (to die for) and macaroni for sides. The service from our waiter Ken was awesome.

As always great food and drinks. Always consistent and delicious. I leave there feeling like a stuffed pig. Would be nice if I had an extra stomach.
