Great atmosphere, food and service. Guests always feel special.

Went to celebrate a birthday. Table had little birthday sprinkles on it. Very cute. The shrimp cocktail was amazing as was the butter poached lobster. The veal chop was out of this world. They brought a birthday dessert to the table also. Everything was great including the service. Would definitely go back.

We were visiting the Phoenix area and went to The Capital Grill to celebrate a birthday. The offerings were excellent. We enjoyed the calamari and hot peppers, and the steaks were excellent.

We were disappointed, however, with the service we received from our waiter. Once we declined any alcoholic drinks it seemed we were dismissed, only to be attended to by our waiter to place our dinner order. He spent most of our time there infatuated with a nearby table. We were presented with a delicious birthday dessert but our waiter didn’t even bother to ask if we wished coffee or any other desserts for our table.

Phoenix has a number of wonderful steak houses (we dined at Steak 44 the night before for a fine meal and very attentive service) and for the menu price I feel the service didn’t equal the meal.

The service was outstanding. The lobster roll and lobster salad were delicious.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Lobster Mac and cheese, which I highly recommend. The steak was so tender.

The food. as always, was amazing. Excellent wine list. Service was top notch.

Everyone was superb!! We celebrated our anniversary and from the moment we entered until we departed we were treated special with service and a first class meal. What a great experience, we will be back!!

Had just an outstanding experience. Service was friendly and professional. The food was amazing. My colleague loved his blue point oysters as an appetizer and the crab legs for dinner (taken out of the shell for easy eating). I loved my crab appetizer and salmon entrée. Everything was great!

Our experience was not pleasant. We ordered our steaks medium-well, the waiter asked if we wanted just a touch of pink and we said yes. We all received our steaks medium rare, sent them back twice, even after the manager brought them out and found them acceptable.
they never brought one of the sides, charged us for them. Took them 15 minutes to take it off the check. While we waited, we listened to the waitstaff and kichen cooks use profane language in their conversations. My son's flourless chocolate cake had a small bug crawl out of it at the end....there was no need to even mention that at that point, it was useless for the way this place is managed. The only reason we went, is because we had gift cards to use, and we will never be back.

Everything went well, the service was excellent and took care of special needs, and the food was excellent

We decided on Capital Grille to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we made a great choice! We were warmly greeted by our server, Ruben, who was very attentive and friendly throughout our whole dining experience! The food was outstanding!! Everything was delicious, including my wine!! Since we noted that we were celebrating our anniversary there was a red rose on our table and a very nice card from the restaurant. Even a chocolate dessert and glass of champagne at the end of the meal! Thank you so much for helping make our special night even more special!!

Great food. Much better than other places around town for a steak. French onion soup was terrific and so was cheesecake and creme brûlée. Quieter restaurant, with a bit older clientele, but overall very nice evening!!

This is our 'go to' place for special occasions. Love the filet oscar and split king crab. Sam's mash potatoes are a must too!

Our first time here, celebrated our anniversary, we loved it! Such a classy and elegant restaurant with amazing food. I let them know it was our anniversary and they had a card, a red rose and hearts waiting in the table! Dessert was a delicious chocolate cake with 'happy anniversary' written on the plate. The steaks were delicious and the service was top notch! What a great place to spend our anniversary!

Short of 5 because of initial service after being seated very slow in a restaurant sparsely occupied. We were waiting for another couple to join us but knew they were stuck in a traffic jam so we thought we’d start with cocktails while awaiting them. I had to ask for a wine list, didn’t really like the iPad menu but can live with that. After getting the list I had to seek out someone other than our server to get drinks that arrived about 20 minutes after getting the wine list. Our friends arrived within 5 minutes after the drinks. (Our server was spending time in a private party room schmoozing.).
Beyond that initial poor service the remainder of service was excellent without our need to ask for anything else.
All four meals were excellent and valued appropriately. Steaks and sides were perfect for each of us. Salads, 1 Caesar and 1 wedge were pretty basic although asking for extra anchovies was done without charge.
All in all meals of NY Strip, Sliced Filet, Filet and Lobster, Bone in Filet were much enjoyed with sides of mushrooms and sautéed spinach.

We have eaten at the Capital Grille on three separate occasions. It was wonderful and the service was outstanding. Saturday, March 17th our waiter, Brandon, was very good. He was there when we needed service and was very professional. Wonderful dining experience.

Very nice dinner! The table was beautifully decorated when we arrived including a long stem rose! The food was terrific and our server Randee was very attentive and polite! And to top off a great experience they brought out a special dessert for our anniversary! Thank you for helping create a great memory

Food and service were excelllent. Steak was done just right. All the details of a fine dinning experience were addressed.

Always enjoy coming for a wonderful meal whether it be for a dinner or lunch with my friends. The food is fresh and cooked to order. I have never sent anything back and my complements to the chef, sous chef and all the kitchen staff. I always request the same server who is always so gracious and charming! Absolutely a go to choice for my spouse, out of town guests and my local friends!!!

Everything was excellent from start to finish. My husband's porterhouse steak was perfection!

Food was excellent and we loved the ambiance. Waiter did not check in with us often. We waited to pay him personally but left because we were tired of waiting. His name was Jarvis. When we did see him he never apologized for the wait. When we did see him he was friendly. Despite the level of service received we still left a good tip.

A special occasion, made special. This evening the food was excellent; even better than I had remembered it.

This was yet another great visit to this location. Ken did a great job. It was another perfect dining experience for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. We highly recommend Capital Grill to anyone who wants a great dining experience.

Celebrated my wifes birthday wanting to make it a special evening. It was in fact very special, great bar as we waited for our reserved table, great food overall and great service. Special touch given for the occasion, and overall memorable evening.

Server was a bit slow at the start, then finally pick up the pace. Forgot the Peppercorn
sauce for one of our Steak Orders. Also, got an entire steak order wrong. But they recovered
very quickly, as the steak was ordered "rare". They brought some Shrimp Cocktail to make up
for the slip. All in All, I would not hesitate to return. Food was great.

Capital Grill on Camelback never lets us down! It was a birthday celebration for our family and even though the restaurant was packed, the service never failed, the food was excellent, and a special thanks to Bryan Rojo who was the best of the wait staff!
