Wonderful ambience and staff was courteous, friendly and efficient. Speed od service was good.
Great food! Lively wait staff. Went for restaurant week and would definitely come back.
Disclaimer - It is restaurant week so I hope this is the excuse for the burnt food & long wait times.
This was my worst Capital Grill experience ever. I usually go to Capital Grill Cherry Hill, but decided to make reservations for 10 at the Philly location. Server was awesome but food wasn’t. It took about 25 minutes before we were served our first course (salads & some appetizers). After our salads, another 30 minutes before our entrees came. We get our entrees and our salmon (3 guest) are over grilled and flacky. We order our side dishes and the lobster Mac & cheese is burnt. At first bite, I thought it was me until someone else said the said thing. I get this dish all the time, however, this time all the cheese was burnt... it was not cheesy and anyone who has had this dish knows what I mean. We didn’t complain because it was so packed and we knew it would be another 1/2 hr before we got another meal. The restaurant week menu only has 4 options and we all ordered from that menu... placed our orders quickly. All in all, the wait times between the courses were annoying. We were seated at 7pm and left at around 10:40pm.
Forgot to add that the restaurant was accommodating when our entire party didn’t arrive on time. Table was held for 1/2 hr until entire party arrived. Also, they decorated the table beautifully with a hand written card in the center of table for celebrant.
Our food was tasty and the service was pleasant. The noise and overcrowded condition of the tables was so intrusive and unpleasant though that we all agreed we would never return.
Good but took a while for server to come to our table. He made up for it by giving me extra mashed and green beans to take home. Also- my steak wasn’t cooked exactly to my
The food and the staff were excellent the only thing that was bad was the garnish on the plate it was wilted n looked bad and should have never been there . Other than that everything was great
I went there for restaurant week. The food was delicious and reasonable. First time here definitely going back.
Philly restaurant week special lunch menu was very good.
3 courses. (Coffee / tea not included, which I think would have been a nice touch)
Service was very good.
We celebrated my moms birthday. They did such a nice job of making it a special. Food and cocktails were great too.
My sister and I had a great dinning experience at Captial Grille. Out waiter, Mario, was amazing. He asked if we were on a time crunch and took the chief so that we could be out at a specific time. We did go during restaurant week and ordered from the menu for that week for lunch and I really enjoyed the food. The only real fault with the Capital Grille beside location and finding parking would be the price of the food. If I did not do restaurant week I do believe I would not have paid the original prices for the food, but I am also a college student so I do fancier dinning when I can. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, with delicious dessert and food.
