Best dinner ever and the staff was amazing

Exeptional staff, friendly and personal. They were very thoughtful accommodating our birthday dinner. Highly recommended for any occasion!

I frequent this location. It is always a lovely experience.

The service was excellent. Loved the room and the overall ambience. I thought the food was good. However it was way overpriced. It was a $$$ expensive meal but the quality didn't warrant the prices. The meal was solid but not particularly original. Good for an expense account meal. For the price of this meal I would go to another restaurant.

Great service. Got lucky so they could seat us on time for our reservation put us in s private room in bank vault downstairs. Awesome room and quiet for conversation. Dinner as expected was fantastic and cooked appropriately. Salads, dessert all excellent. Fairly pricey but for level of food and throw in NYC and it really was not bad at all. Impeccable service.

Service was slow. Additionally, during lunch, the restaurant had a problem with its fryers and ventilation, so it was smokey and fries were not available. However, the only substitute for the fries that the server allowed was mashed potatoes, not one of the other sides or soups on the menu, even those other items had the same menu price as the fries that were not available.

Checking in is always annoying, usually a wait to be seated. Convenient business location. Food and drink, especially steaks, are usually very good. Shrimps in shrimp cocktail were rubbery and did not taste fresh. Service is efficient if not overly friendly.

Food was outstanding- filet mignon perfectly cooked and seared, rare exactly as requested. Steak tartare one of the best I have had in a long time. Salmon was similarly fantastic, perfect sear, great flavor. Service was perfect and professional. Martinis excellent.

Easter brunch

We were celebrating 2 birthdays. Everything was wonderful except the air conditioning vent blew directly on our food. So most of the wonderful food was cold before the last bite.
The birthday dessert was wonderful!

It was great, we even got a chef inspired free miniature appetizer that was delicious. Fun times.

This location is excellent in terms of food and service. I've been to several other Capital Grille locations both in NYC and NJ and have no interest in going back.

Food was ridiculous. Service was not the best but not bad. Perhaps, he gave us more time since it was a group dinner? Not bad at all. Just not too prompt. Overall, food and setting near Wall Street made up for it and everyone ate too much and had an amazing dinner.

It is 28F degree outside and the air conditioning was blasting. I think our entire party caught a cold. It is my wife’s birthday and the candle couldn’t stay put as the Ac was blowing so much. Asked management to shut it down but apparently it is set and they cannot do anything about. I think I’ll wait for the summer to eat my next steak!!!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at The Capital Grille. The food and service was amazing. They gave us complimentary champagne and dessert for our anniversary. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and delicious.

Service was terrific

Waiter seemed very new. Wasn’t familiar with standard procedures, such as taking unused wine glasses from children and adults who don’t order wine. We had to ask her to take them after apps came. She was Not sure regarding the exact preparation methods of all the dishes. No table crumbing. We eat with you pretty often and will be back. We assume you were unexpectedly busy and promoted someone for the night.

Just good, nothing special and my meal was considerably over cooked, there was no time to send back.

It was absolutely amazing. This is our third Valentine’s Day celebrating at The Capital Grille and we were not disappointed.

I took my uncle for lunch. From the minute we sat down, the waitress was very attentive to our needs. She had a vast knowledge of the menu and aided us in making our choices for drinks and food. She was very nice and kept asking us if we were okay and needed anything else. The food was soooo good. I had the sirloin steak and creamy mashed potatoes and my uncle the swordfish. The food was amazing, the burst of spices with the potatoes was so yummy.

Food was excellent. My first time there and have to say it is one of the best restaurants i have been too. Our server, Rebecca was outstanding.

Extremely poor service. We go there often. Service is always hit or miss. Such a shame they cannot be consistant. This service was all over the place. That kills the experience and price remains the same. Actually they even charge me for something I did not order so make sure you double check your bill.

Our server Chris was very attentive. Steak was tender and tasty.

The Capital Grille met all of my expectations from start to finish. We were seated downstairs, which was quieter than the bar area and better for conversation. The service was top notch, and even for restaurant week when I expect service to be sub par. The quality of the steak and produce was exceptional and was just what I was hoping for. You will pay a pretty penny for this meal, but trust that it is worth it.

Great food and service. Although we were placed at a table right next to crying children. The food and catching up with my friend was a dsitraction from the crying fussy child. I love the string beans and the lobster mac n cheese.

Waiter was very professional loved everything about him. No long waits for the food great suggestions.
