26 Wedding Anniversary. The staff treated us like royalty. The table was in a private (against the wall) area of the main dining room so we felt like we had a private room. The table was sprinkled with little multi-colored hearts and there was an anniversary card waiting for us from the staff. The steaks were perfectly done to order and they presented us with a individual cheesecake to share. It was perfect.
As always this place makes you feel welcome. I was able to run in people that work there that I haven't seen for a while. Gabe, Jeremy, Michael the bartendars ROCK! Melissa Trumbell is so genuine and is a class act. This place rocks!!!
Absolutely brilliant meal, we travelled from London for my girlfriend's birthday and left a note with the restaurant. On arrival they wished her happy birthday, the table was decorated and they had left a birthday card.
We had fantastic suggestions from our waitress Angela on what to eat and she was spot on (the porterhouse) and even got a free birthday dessert.
Thanks to for a fantastic and tasty meal.

I can not say enough about this place! Everything was excellent. I just indicated that we were celebrating a birthday on my open table reservation and they went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday experience a memorable one. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions.
This restaurant even though quite large gives off the feel of a more intimate dining experience, the staff are very friendly, polite and helpful.
Because of traffic congestion we were late for our booking, not a problem, we were going to Radio City straight after and needed our food quicker than we would have liked, not a problem.
The food was beautiful, we had lobster and crab cakes to share, there was lovely pieces of lobster and crab meat in each cake.
We both had steaks, my husband had the Filet Mignon, cooked to perfection, I had the NY Strip, what a beautifully cooked piece of steak and so very tasty. We had sides of mashed potato, so velvety and asparagus.
Next time we are NYC we will be going again but will spend more time enjoying the whole ambience and experience.
I’ve been visiting for lunch every few weeks but today’s experience was not enjoyable.
Something changes, first time the calamari was chewy and the rib eye steak sandwich was tough ( only ate half the sandwich)
We mentioned this to the waiter and asked if they changed chefs since the quality has definitely changed.
Also the fries was not hot as well.
Please look into this.
Disappointed that the steak ordered as very well done came back pink. It was very clear that the waiter took the right order but apparently did not check before bringing the steak out. This delayed the other 2 people from eating their meals which were prepared correctly.
We visit fairly often; this time for son's birthday. First time we indicated a birthday (although we've been there for it every year for past few years). They were gracious and provided extras for the occasion. There was one small flaw this time. My wife's (medium) steak was slightly under cooked and my three (medium) lamb chops were each done to a different degree - one rather medium rare, one medium and the other towards medium well. However, the food was still very tasty and we did not make an issue of this. I believe, based on overall experience with restaurant, they would have remedied this on request.
We made a reservation for 7:45. We arrived early at 7:30. Our table wasn't ready, so we went into the bar area to have a drink. Then at 7:45 they called us over. We were seated in an awful area. It was next to the kitchen and the wait staff's area for their use. We asked for another table. They gave us a booth. I think they should do away with the original table given as it was a horrible spot for anyone.
After we were seated, the waitress "Bonnie" was delightful. She checked in with us several times during our dinner. Great waitress!
It was a dinner for my daughter and myself. We chose to each have a blue cheese wedge salad. It was delicious and quite filling. Then we shared a tenderloin steak (filet mignon) and two lobster tails. The lobster tails were a bit over done but still tasty. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly. We ordered a side of asparagus, and that too was perfectly cooked. We were both so full that we actually left a small piece of filet and some asparagus. These meals are quite large. For two woman visiting New York, I would highly recommend sharing a dinner!
