The Capital Grille - Naples Ratings and Reviews
We always choose Capitol Grille for our big dinner during our annual Naples, FL golf trip and it never disappoints. I had the dry-aged Kona strip with shallot butter and it was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The lobster mac is a must. Francis was our server and he did an outstanding job serving eight guys. We highly recommend Capitol Grille Naples.
An evening at Capital Grill never disappoints. The price point is high and you get what you pay for...exceptional service, fantastic food, scrumptious desserts, stellar cocktails and an extensive wine list. The Resturant is swanky and everyone is so nice. If you are looking for a fabulous night out book your table through open table and leave the rest up to the Capital Grill!
There were 5 of us. We get together every year at Capital Grill. All of us thought the food had no taste. Salad no taste and not enough dressing. We asked for more dressing but did not get it. The tenderloin steak which we all had was tender but was very bland. Needed some kind of seasoning.
We were very impressed with our first visit to The Capital Grille. The food was superb and our waiter Ian excellent. He was very knowledgeable not only about menu selections, but also wine pairings based on our personal preferences. Although somewhat pricey, we felt that it was really good value for the quality of the experience. We will definitely be back.
We dine here at least twice a month. We have always been delighted with our food, our service and our wine. The waitstaff is excellent. Howard M and Mesut are attentive and anticipate everything before you have time to ask!
It is our favorite steak/fine dining restaurant in the area.
We had the Thanksgiving menu which was delicious. The service was excellent especially as the staff had been working non-stop all day. This restaurant is always sold out on holidays for good reason. We were lucky to get a table at a desirable time because there was an unexplained confusion with the Open Table reservation. Fortunately, we discovered the problem weeks ahead when I stopped by to see if I could get an earlier time. My reservation notification was for 7:30 and they had 8:30 on their book. They did accommodate my guest and me, which was not easy. What could have ruined a Thanksgiving meal was rescued by their excellent and accommodating managers.
Went for thanksgiving with 10 people. All had turkey except me who had a steak (and a shrimp app). I got sick less than two hours after dinner- was ok after an hour though. Rest of party (except for a couple of people) thought the turkey was “nothing special”. Service was excellent however as is typical of Capitol grills. Coffee and dessert mediocre as well. Overall not the best value and a bit unusual compared to prior Capitol grille experiences. Strangely, I relayed most of this to the manager, who sent me a survey a day or two later. Never received a reply, which I find disappointing . As such there are plenty of other good restaurant choices in the Naples area.
Unfortunately THE RESTAURANT HAD ABOUT 1200 meals book for Thanksgiving. Our party of 3 and several other guests we know were not impressed with the meal. We did have a lot left over for take-away but were just not inspired to have it either. Maybe another time, another food selection, another .. ? Possible, but this time- not worth the price for sure.
Lunch was awesome! The filet mignonette sliders were incredible. Service above average. The special unexpected touches made my birthday even more special. Pricey for dinner, more affordable for lunch. This was our first visit to Capital Grille and won't be our last.
My friend and I went there for a birthday lunch (both November babies).
The CG took very good care of us. They gave us champagne, a celebration dessert and even took a picture of us. Plus we each received a red rose (I think all women were given a rose).
The lunch was very good. My salmon was perfectly prepared (as usual).
A great place to celebrate.
NEVER FAILS TO AMAZE!!! Stacey, thank you for pouring a stiff drink. Tabitha, thank you for setting us up at the perfect table!! Valeria... we missed you but I will see you again soon!! Will, thank you for coming by and making sure our meal is up to par... which doesn’t ever disappoint and then ... Ms Jessie ... you made my night. The extra shallot butter, the sparking rose at the beginning and then the piece de resistance... coconut creme pie .... if the Good Lord above took me home tonight, I would most certainly die a blessed and grateful woman. BEST RESTAURANT IN NAPLES... PERIOD. SPOIL YOURSELVES ... Go see my fiends!
