We had a lovely evening celebrating my parents anniversary. Our waiter, John, was excellent in his communication and service and the restaurant added touches of detail that made our evening feel like a very special occasion from the time we sat down until the last bite of dessert. A fabulous experience all around!

They were closing due to horrible weather but worked with our group to make sure we were able to get in before that happened. Thank you.

In one word -- incredible! Each item that we ordered was over-the-top splendid. We will definitely be back.

The food was amazing, spendy but worth it. The service was very good as well, drinks never fell empty and friendly staff.

We been there half dozen times and food is always excellent. It is a bit busy but service is always on point.

Food is always good. Michael provides excellent service in the bar area. The music was good but the volumn was too low.

I once again had a fabulous experience at The Capital Grille before a show at the Orpheum. The service is spectacular from the host, to the server, busers and the maitre d’. The steaks were prepared perfectly and I love their wine list. The ambiance is always nice and welcoming as well. I just wish we had room for desert!

We thoroughly enjoyed our pre-theater meal at the Grille. It's been awhile since our last visit and everything was as expected - top-notch food & excellent service. We began our meal with hot soup to take the chill off from the cold weather outside. My husband enjoyed the classic french onion smothered in melted cheese, and I had clam chowder which was laden with clams and had a nice hint of spice. I followed this with swordfish which was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. My husband enjoyed the sliced filet which was cooked to perfection, and so tender. Our server was very attentive and personable. He made some very helpful and delicious suggestions for entre selections and wine pairings . We skipped dessert this time, as we were very satisfied after our meal and we rounded out the evening with cappuchino's. Overall, the Grille never disappoints us and that's why we keep coming back.

Bar tender and waitress were 1st class. We had the scallops and the lamb. Everything was excellent They did not rush you to get out so they could reseat the next party. We were reminded by our waitress to take our time!!! Thank you for an enjoyable evening

The food is always excellent, the service very personable.
Prefer booth to table, our table was near kitchen and a large party, which was a bit too much traffic for my taste. Overall we love it there. They make a real effort in all ways... food, hospitality, always fun evening.

Decided to go for to the CG for our Easter dinner. There were three of us and we all ordered the GORGONZOLA CRUSTED DRY AGED BONE-IN NY STRIP All three were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Prior to dinner we had the PAN-FRIED CALAMARI with Hot Cherry Peppers and a WEDGE WITH BLEU CHEESE AND SMOKED BACON. The calamari and salad were large portions and were easily shared. The two sides we ordered were PARMESAN TRUFFLE FRIES and CREAMED SPINACH. Both sides were fantastic and large enough for three of us to share. We finally ended with the FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO CAKE which was to die for.....

Overall just a great dinner!

We arrived a little early and had to wait for our table. Not much waiting area. Once seated all went well, great wait person. Very informative with good recommendations.
Pricy but worth it.

The restaurant was freezing. Food, service was excellent but completely spoiled by the
Temperature. I asked to be reseated so as not to be by window. Still very uncomfortable

Overall, a very good Easter Brunch experience. Our server was outstanding. They were understaffed up front and we had to wait for our table. Food was very good and staff is very friendly.

Steak over done. Not much interest from waiter to fix it, maybe I did not express enough words around it.

We were well received when we arrived and since we were early our seat wasn't quite ready, so we were told they would find us in the bar. The bar tender made us an excellent mixed drinks, however the bar is busy and crowded. The hostess found us and brought us to our table, where we were served in such a way that made us feel very special. The food was perfect. Since we let our server know it was our anniversary, she brought out Champaign for us to toast with which was very good and fun, and rose petals for our table and a dessert for 2 that had happy anniversary written in chocolate on our plate. The restaurant made it an evening to remember! Thank you!

Out of the five steaks, two were over done. The noise level was very loud.

Great food and treated like royalty. Food was prepared to expectations. We enjoy this family celebration yearly and everybody looks forward to the evening. Chef even sent us out a extra to celebrate the birthdays. Nice touch and tasty. Becky our server was timely and attentive to our needs. Its just nice to be treated like you are a big shooter once a year. Capitol Grille filled the bill and we will see you for our next celebration.

Constant parade of waiters etc. passed our semi circular side booth otherwise as enjoyable as always but will be sure to request no semi booth seating next time

We were celebrating our 27th anniversary. They wished us a happy anniversary when we checked in and our table was sprinkled with rose pedals. Then they brought us a complimentary glass of champagne. The service was INCREDIBLE! I had steak, my husband had steak and lobster, and everything absolutely melted in your mouth! The food was AMAZING! After dinner they brought us a "Happy Anniversary" platter with cheesecake, fresh fruit and flourless chocolate cake on it. Everything was scrumptious! The Capital Grille is not inexpensive, but for a special occasion it is worth every penny. The ambiance is gorgeous, and the food and the service are both exquisite! We will definitely return next year for our 28th anniversary!

It was our Anniversary and our service was impeccable! When we arrived, there were rose petals on the table and every staff member from when we checked in to the busboy to our server to the Manager wished us a Happy Anniversary...it was really lovely to have the recognition of our special evening. Our food was great! I had the filet with the cipollini onions, wild mushrooms and fig essence. The medium rare steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The balance of flavors was outstanding and unique. My date had the Gorgonzola butter NY strip with the Cabernet reduction and was exceedingly excellent as well. Both meals made for the best leftover steak sandwiches the next day! I highly recommend the side of wild mushrooms and the green beans with heirloom tomatoes....A great option for those that do not want to fill up on potatoes.
