   We go every few months. We both felt the fillets this time had way more salt than normal and the mashed potatoes had a lot of skins and not a creamy as they usually are. They still tasted good but just not what we are used to. Might change up my order next time.

   My husband and I came from Green Bay for a concert and ate at Capital Grille before the show. We were greeted right away by very friendly staff and our waiter Dane was exceptional. He explained the menu and was fun to chat with. The food was out of this world good. 5 stars all day

    Mark was amazing very friendly and was always asking if there was anything I could do. Food was not what I expected. Certainly have a higher level of quality coming from Capital Grille but with a group of people I was not going to send food back and make everybody else wait on me.

    Great service. For appetizers, we ordered the Calamari - best we’ve ever had - the wedge salad & the lobster bisque. Our group ordered the salmon, sea bass, lobster Mac & cheese, brussel sprouts, and caramelized pear salad with shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. For dessert we got the crème brûlée, berries & cream and coconut pie. If we were to pick one from each course for a perfect meal it would be the calamari, brussel sprouts, sea bass and coconut cream pie. But, anyway you go, you won’t be disappointed.

    We showed up a half hour early for our reservation expecting to sit at the bar to have a couple drinks before being seated. To our surprise they had plenty of seating and offered to sit us down early. We accepted and was seated in a room off the main dining area. At the time the area was empty and it gent like a private dining experience. Our server Emily was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us excellent dining and cocktail recommendations. She was also very attentive and made sure we were having a great dining experience. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We had the shrimp cocktail, bacon wrapped asparagus (chefs gift to us), filet, kona crusted ny strip, brussel sprouts and the lobster mac and cheese. The drinks were strong and well worth the money. Looking forward to going back there the next time we are in Milwaukee.

    I’m not sure how they select whom they offer coat checking to,My date and I were not offered. However, the couple behind us was offered to check their coats. I also seemed to see a lot of other people walking around with their coats on. They have a dress code that also seemed to be depending on the person that walked in to the establishment.

    We have been coming to the Capital Grille every Valentine's Day since we started dating, which as of this year was 10 years. Every year we enjoy our experience. For those who don't think a chain restaurant can provide a good steak, I ask them to give them a try. We have eaten at a number of expensive steak restaurants, and Capital Grille has remained in our top five. The consistency of quality is also important to note.

    This remains one of my favorite lunch venues in Milwaukee. The decor, food and service is excellent. We continued my husbands’s 80 th birthday celebration there recently.

    I had never been to Capital Grill before but I come again. My server was Noemi A. She explained everything to me. She was pleasant, friendly and attentive. I had the Capital Cosmopolitan, jumbo shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque soup with sherry added at table side, pan seared sea bass with au gratin potatoes, Mer Soleil Silver chardonnay, flourless espresso cake with a cup of coffee. My first cosmopolitan and it was fantastic. The jumbo shrimps were amazing. I have had lobster bisque soup many times. This one with the sherry added at table side was OMG! Real lobster pieces and the sherry enhanced the flavors. The chardonnay was exquisite. The pan seared sea bass with mushrooms and asparagus was the most delicious seafood I had in a while. Only one issue with the main course something came across on the salty side. The flourless espresso cake was thick and ok. Needed ice cream to offset the heaviness. The coffee was perfect. It was hot, fresh and not bitter. This made the day in Milwaukee perfect.
