I eat here often but yesterday something was off. My meat was tasteless, as was my son’s, utensils were dirty for 1/2 the table and it just didn’t meet the 5 star standard I have for this restaurant. It was quite busy yesterday and maybe that was the issue but it won’t deter me from returning.

Seated at the worst table possible and the staff kept squeezing by my chair and another guest. We had to switch seats. Table cloth had dirt marks. Not the experience I have had at the Troy, Mi location. Disappointing especially when it wasn’t that busy.

Anspruch und Wirklichkeit liegen ein wenig auseinander. In dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich erstklassiges Essen. Das konnte ich so nicht wirklich wahrnehmen. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber eben nicht auf höchstem Niveau. Beef Tatar sollte wirklich kleingeschnitten sein und nicht mit übergroßen Stücken. Die Zubereitung darf auch durchs Personal erfolgen. Besonders wenn ungewöhnliche Zutaten gereicht werden (gehacktes gekochtes Ei zum Beef Tatar?). Das Ambiente ist wirklich toll, für mich aber kein Grund, nochmals vorbeizuschauen. Auch wenn man es in den USA gern kühl im Restsurant hat, ich habe keinen Bock in einem Eisschrank zu sitzen. Weniger ist manchmal mehr.

Went for Miami Spice menu which was an excellent value!!!service was outstanding. Parking lot said it was full and blocked by cone. But they told us Later to pull in a wait for the attendant to let us in. We went o an anniversary celebration and we’re greeted by a card and little hearts on the table. Later had a nice Happy Anniversary surprise desert and bubbly. Will definitely go back for Miami spice next year!!!

We had an amazing dinner, as usual the food and service was top notch. The only issue we had was the parking situation, there was a sign indicating the lot was full and we almost left, until the attendant came out to guide us around and to the valet.

Food was excellent. Service above average. Parking situation is a disaster. Gate was open with no attendant when we drove in. A random person in garage said no charge to park for Capital Grille because machine was broken. As we tried to leave, gate was down and an extremely mean woman said we had to go to valet parking and pay. The waiter had asked about validating a parking ticket, but we never got one. We just paid the $15 and left, but it left a bad taste in our mouths about the entire experience. They have a very nice restaurant they should insist on better service for parking.

I visited the Capital Grille Orlando location last month and had an amazing meal and experience. Yesterday I tried the Miami location and I was expecting the same level of food and service. The service was okay and my dinner (a steak) was over cooked and not served to perfection like the previous visit. I explained to the waiter that a medium cooked steak should look somewhat the same from the same restaurants, I even went as far as showing him a picture of my medium steak from my Orlando visit. He advised me that they cooked it wrong at the Orlando location and I was incorrect. Since I was celebrating a special occasion and did not want to make big deal of the issue on scene so I let it go. However, today I felt compelled to write this review because I left feeling unsatisfied with the response from the waiter and the meal. Thank you.

His attention to detail, friendliness and over attention to our needs was amazing. He made our dining experience incredible. I called in the morning to ask about the parking situation and was told self parking was $15 but valet was free. I decided to drive instead of Uber because I live on Brickell. When I get there they tell me it’s $15. I tell that the manager told me valet is free. They said that yes the service to park it for you is free but the parking fee is $15. Very aggravating and misleading.

Our server, Andrea, was very friendly yet professional. She made it a wonderful evening. I thought that both of our filets were under par for Capital Grille. Both of them had half of the filet that was fatty and chewy.

The meal and service was exceptional. I have been coming to the Cap for over 25 years until recently. I hosted a party of 8 and we enjoyed it greatly. Unfortunately, the parking issue arriving and leaving for each guest was extremely painful and time-consuming. This will affect my/our consideration of a return visit. It used to be SO easy which made it my go-to restaurant. Now, the opposite - I will avoid the Cap unless I walk or Uber there, which is unlikely. It's too bad...

Brought my daughter here for her birthday. We each ordered the filet and had to send both steaks back twice because they were undercooked both times (we aren’t picky so this wasn’t us being unreasonable). We had two servers originally and once the first waiter saw the food was undercooked twice he basically gave up and stopped servicing our table. We were left with one server who was pleasant and attentive but we had to look around for her multiple times. Each time the steaks were needed to be sent back I had to flag down the server down because they never actually came to check on the quality of our food. Very unexpected service here as I’ve dined at CG multiple times and never had an experience like this.

The food and service by Diego were excellent the value of the Miami Spice menu was decent. The only negative, which was significant, was the parking situation, which was chaotic and time consuming. This will definitely discourage me from returning as it was extremely unpleasant
